Choose another yacht broker. The captain and boat were amazing but the broker was disappointing. We spent several thousand dollars for a tour for a VIP group. We arrived at the pier and there was no one to meet us, and we had to guess our way to the boat based on photos. Other companies had a representative there to meet their guests. The food and drinks we had ordered were late and arriving just as we were. Hot food was cold. Cold drinks and beer were hot. No one from the yacht broker was there to ensure things were done well. We had to participate in rushing through icing out drinks and getting food reheated and put out in order to try to get the trip on track. Still the boat left 30 minutes late. Once we pushed off and the trip began we were told by the captain that the yacht broker was now suddenly in contact and wanted us to pay and put a credit card on file, which we had already done. It was unprofessional and embarrassing and we had been told prior that all payments were done. We then were told by the captain that we needed to complete waivers online, and that in many cases the broker makes sure this is done beforehand or arrives at the dock with paper copies. None of this was done and we had no follow up prior that it was missing—one email and we would have completed, or if the broker had managed to just show up and take care of customers, we would have done at the dock. We had no internet on international cell phones, so were forced to spend 45 mins of our delayed three hour cruise hot spotting off the captains phone to fill out forms. We asked the captain if we could have additional time on the back end because of the problems but were not provided any extension on the trip because the boat captain and owner did not want problems with the broker who has proved to be difficult. No extension. We communicated all this by email to the broker—but no apologies and no remediation, only a response that they were trying to contact us on an international number and would talk on the phone, though apparently couldn’t manage an email response. Do not spend your money here. Find a company with a more hands on approach who ensures a quality trip, or go directly to...

I did a bunch of research when choosing a yacht to charter for my sister's bachelorette in Miami before ultimately choosing to go with Miami Yachting company. It was a great decision! Not only does the business have an actual physical address (unlike many of the places I looked at), but every interaction and part of the experience was handled extremely professionally. They had a modern online booking system, and I was able to reach a human over the phone with questions/changes to our booking leading up to it. Billing was clear and straightforward from the get go; I paid the up front deposit and was billed the day of the ride for the remaining amount.
The day of the ride, Victoria, our crew person met us promptly at the meeting spot and she was fantastic throughout our ride; friendly, professional and took care of our every need. Initially when I booked I didn't see the value of the additional crew person but having her on board was invaluable; she put away and served all the food and drinks we brought on board, cleaning and making sure everyone had the drinks they needed, meaning none of the girls had to play hostess on board. Our captain Chris was also fantastic, super chill and friendly. Both he and Victoria helped us feel safe and well cared for throughout the 4 hours we had the boat charted.
We loved our time on the boat, it was immaculately clean and we felt like Miami royalty cruising around on the waves. The sandbar was closed due to an upcoming boat event, so after we cruised around star island and up the Miami river looking for manatees, they took us to Monument Island where some other party boats were anchored and we got to swim and inflate our swan floatie (I don't believe there was one included in the ride, but maybe they just didn't bring it out because we brought our own?) Either way, the charter was the highlight of the bachelorette according to all the girls. I can't wait to go back and book another boat with them, A+...
Read moreThis charter company is INCREDIBLE. I did tons of research before deciding to book with miami yachting company for my birthday, and it was probably the best birthday i’ve had to date. My rep was Kassandra and she answered all of my (many) questions with ease and made sure I felt completely satisfied before I decided to book. The boat I initially wanted wasn’t available anymore, and Kassandra immediately had a backup option ready for me. At first I wasn’t completely sold on it, but then I hopped on the phone and another rep, Nicole, convinced me to give it a chance as the pictures didn’t do it justice. She was completely right—it was WAY bigger and WAY nicer in person and i’m so grateful I listened to her advice. I also got to pick my captain, and he and his stewardess Ilona made the day absolutely perfect.
The caterer that they recommended was unfortunately delayed causing us to leave almost an entire hour after the initial charter time, but captain Tiago made sure to throw some extra time in on our way back so that my friends and family could enjoy the experience that I paid for. Our stewardess made sure we all had endless amounts of lemon drop shots, tequila shots, margs, and seltzers, so not a mouth ran dry or plate of food was left empty.
I truly did extensive research to make sure I was booking with a company that not only cared for it’s clients, but gave good and fair prices with no hidden fees. Despite leaving later than expected on this day trip, the other yacht rental companies I contacted don’t even hold a candle to this one. I already have so many of my social media followers, friends, and family asking where I booked from, and I cannot sing their...
