We stayed here in March as a group of friends with 3 rooms booked. Rooms aren’t really sound proofed, I would recommend you bring your own earplugs.|Window shades are also not very effective and the light coming from the toilet can’t be blocked, because there’s no curtains in the bathroom’s window and the shower has a glass facing the bed (also without curtains). So if I were you I’d bring an eye mask too.|While I was showering people from the building next door could see me, since I had no toilet windows shades whatsoever.|I would also recommend you bring your own towels, since there hasn’t been a single day that I didn’t find hair in the towels provided by the housekeeping. It was just gross.|Water pressure in the shower is not strong, air conditioning is loud, as well as the vent in the bathroom.|Since this is a restaurant, with some rooms on top of it, you might stumble into the waiters and managers having meetings before the opening of the restaurant, which could make you feel uncomfortable. I stayed at the prime hotel from July 18-22. My wife and I arrived at 9:30am… The front desk manger (Raul) was really nice. He offered to watch our bags until it was time for us to check in. He attempted to let us check in by 1pm (early check-in) but the ppl that stayed in the room we reserved did not check out at 11:30am instead they decided to take advantage and stay until 1:30pm until they were told they would be charge an extra $300 dollars. This caused us to wait any extra hour and a half because the room had to be cleaned. Raul was very apologetic especially because my wife and I were celebrating my Birthday, Anniversary and her graduation all at the same time. Raul assured us that we would have the best room in the hotel (King Room with a Balcony) and he didn’t disappoint!!! The room was cozy , intimate, and had an awesome view right on Ocean Drive!! Only thing is that they don’t have a big lobby area like other hotels because there is a restaurant located in the Hotel , but that wasn’t a big issue. My wife and I used the side door that led directly to the elevator to avoid walking pass people while they were dining. The restaurant the Prime owns are very upscale and well with in walking distance to the hotel. They own about 4 restaurant right in the proximity of the Prime hotel. During our stay we witness several wealthy individuals visit the Prime. I mean there were countless numbers of Bentleys and Rose Royces that would pull up during out entire stay, and not to mention the hotel is located in a great location on Ocean Drive, not to far from the action of South Beach but far enough for peace of mind at night. So if you’re looking for a great space to stay with good customer service the Prime Hotel is the place for you!!! Especially if you’re in the 30 and over club that don’t find loud and rowdy people pleasing!! All in all I give my experience a 4/5. I will visit this hotel again the next time I visit Miami!! Thanks Raul for you constant hospitality!! You are truly...

Andrew was AMAZING! Valet was $50, but totally worth it. The rooftop pool was perfectly heated even for a night swim and is open 24 hours. Though I'm not a city girl, if I ever go back to Miami, I will be staying here for the rooftop pool, free cookies, sexy vibe, 1 block walk to a park and the ocean. Miami Beach has the softest ocean sand I've ever felt before. Everything about this hotel was perfect. Not a fan of the hidden $50 charge when you arrive, but the hotel was worth the extra $100 valet and hidden fees. Their pool towels wrapped around my 2-3XL self. They make fruit infused water for the pool area. Their elevator was a bit wonky, but there's stairs if you don't like what the elevator sounds and feels like. Everything about this hotel is 5 stars, minus the hidden fees. I did use a 3rd party app to book the hotel. For the price it is perfect. You can only turn 1 part of the shower on at a time. The handheld shower hose has the most pressure. Kids play tag at the park in the evenings. Items in the fridge are not free, there's gas station liquor in the room for $15/ tiny bottle. The light above the bed is gorgeous, as is the artwork...I learned that Frank Sinatra was arrested for SEDUCTION and the full story is scandalous. 100% recommend. And you get to snuggle in robes, including robes for the kids.

Excellent location and reasonable price. Roof top pool is small but intimate. We had it to ourselves basically. The decor on roof was relaxing and there were a bunch of cute birds in the bushes. We were in a king balcony rm. Rooms have very appealing decor but upkeep is a little lacking. Our room door (rm 5, floor 2) would catch when closing and we had to slam it every time to get it to close. The sliding doors out to the patio are wildly heavy and sticky. It is legit a work out to open and close them. Like very difficult. The bathroom has a sexy design that is sleek but a bit impractical. The rainfall shower is beautiful but had low water pressure and many of the little holes for the water to come out didn't work. To be fair we didn't make any of these statements to the staff, so maybe they would/ could have fixed the door or the shower spouts while we were there. They also should better cover the frosted glass on the panel in front of the toilet, bc while it is cool to see a shower silhouette, it is less so on the toilet. At certain angles, you can make eye contact through the unfrosted parts while you are on the can. Lighting options were nice. Staff was friendly.
