The only reason I give a one star is because that was the only option and for location only. We checked into 250 Collins in south Miami Beach last Friday for three nights with such disappointment. The pictures online looked nice but as soon as I walked in the door, I realized that they have a really good photographer that uses a great filter. He was able to filter out all of the dirt and all of the beat up dirty, dingy woodwork doors, floors, ceilings, bathrooms , light fixtures, etc. etc. When we first checked in it was dark and a lot of the lightbulbs didn't work so we managed to replace them ourselves, we removed lightbulbs from one of the chandeliers, and added them to the lights that weren't working and headed straight to dinner. when we got home around midnight I turned on more of the lights and was able to see how dingy and unkept the unit was. our bedroom curtains in the master bedroom were stained yellow with mold spots all over them. there was mold on the ceilings, the bathroom mirror was chipped, The shower handle fell off , the toilet was running and the dirt and the grime surrounding the toilet area was just disgusting. There was a dirty plunger and a dirty toilet bowl brush sitting next to the toilet along with a half an inch of dust on what seem to be a sealed off pipe in the wall. when I emailed them at around 1230am that night to let them know how unhappy I was and grossed out they told me they would send someone in the morning to take care of it. I told him not to bother changing the curtains because that seems like a lengthy job, and all I wanted was for the place to be thoroughly cleaned so I could shower and sleep in comfort. I told them they had permission to enter the unit and that we were leaving at around 10 AM. We left the unit with all of our valuables because I knew they were entering the unit and there was not a safe in the unit we stayed out until about 6 PM when we returned the place was never touched , it was exactly how we left it. No one came in to Clean and then I noticed that someone came in and just removed the curtains. They didn't even change them and then I reached out to let them know the toilet was still running, and the place was still disgusting and they apologized and just kept sending me back messages from different people every time saying that they would take care of it no one ever took care of it. No one came to clean. I was actually grossed out to even sleep there, walk on the carpet, I never let my children even sit on the couch , they basically brushed me off until I was ready to check out after three days. and offered me a very small refund which didn't even cover a lunch that we spent while we were out all day waiting for them to clean the unit. I'll be sure to put my reviews on any Internet review I come across. Roami ruined the only 3 days we had all year to vacation. It was pres day weekend and no hotels had availabilty for my family or I would have been out of that dump in an hour. I cant even look back at these pics...
Read moreI had booked online — with confirmation and full payment — a room with two queen beds in a specific location. However, upon arrival, I was informed that we had been moved to another location (250 Collins) where the room had only one bed and a sofa bed. Not only was this not what I booked and paid for, but no bed linens were provided for the sofa bed.||||We immediately requested the linens upon entering the room and were told they would be delivered. That never happened. ||||Additionally, we requested clean towels and asked for someone to check a ceiling leak in the room. Each time, we only received messages apologizing and assuring us that the issue would be resolved — yet no action was taken.||||This is not only disrespectful and unprofessional, but in my opinion, it is also misleading and potentially fraudulent, as I paid for one type of accommodation and was given something inferior to what was advertised on your website.||||Given the repeated failures to address the issues and the fact that the accommodation provided was not what I paid for, I consider this a breach of contract so I requested a partial refund ( at the least) or other appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and substandard experience. They replied that they were committed to resolve the issue and that they escalation team would be in touch with me within 24H. So guess what? That never happened. Read moreAttenzione, la recensione sarà lunga perché ci tengo a scrivere la vicenda in maniera dettagliata , ma per chiunque non ha intenzione di leggere i particolari sappiate solo quanto segue: SCONSIGLIO vivamente questa struttura a famiglie, gente con bambini e viaggiatori e sopratutto viaggiatrici solitarie, potreste ritrovarvi come me in una situazione molto più che spiacevole, a tratti disastrosa per la vostra vacanza e tendenzialmente pericolosa per la vostra sicurezza. ||Siamo arrivate nella struttura senza nessuno che ci accogliesse e ci hanno assegnato una stanza diversa da quella per cui avevamo pagato SENZA cucina. Abbiamo trascorso lì 4 giorni e in 4 giorni nessuno dello staff si è degnato di presentarsi per risolvere il problema. La camera più UMIDA che io abbia visto nella mia vita, io sono italiana ma sono abbastanza sicura che vendano in qualche modo anche in America una cosa chiamata “deumidificatore“ capace di aspirare o comunque diminuire l’umidità , (questo sicuramente avrà un costo ma ne vale del benessere e della salute dei propri clienti). Dopo QUATTRO giorni si degnano di assegnarci finalmente la camera con cucina per cui avevamo pagato e questa è statata l’unica stanza che sembrava essere inizialmente perfetta, se non fosse che al vicino del piano di sopra piace particolarmente passeggiare tutto il giorno dentro casa sbattendo fortemente i piedi per terra . ||Dopo due giorni alle 8:00 Am del mattino due uomini provano ad aprirci la porta senza bussare, e senza parlare. PRECISO CHE SIAMO DUE DONNE DI 25 ANNI SOLE DALL’ALTRO LATO DEL MONDO. ||Digitano anche il codice della nostra porta e provano ad entrare , per fortuna avevamo chiuso da dentro con il ferretto. Verso le ore 10:00 riprovano allo stesso modo questi due uomini ad aprire la porta inserendo il nostro codice !!! Alla fine dopo mille chiamate ROAMI ci risponde e ci dice che dovevano rinnovare tutto lo stabile e ci chiede di andare in un’altro indirizzo!!!||ci hanno trasferito nell’altro indirizzo e siamo state costrette a chiamare la POLIZIA.||Solo loro ci hanno aiutato a metterci in sicurezza in una stanza con codici privati solo per noi. ||Giuro di non aver visto mai cosi tanta INCOMPETENZA nella mia vita.||NON ANDATE! SPORCHI, MALEDUCATI, UMIDITÀ ALLE STELLE, NESSUN AIUTO DAL PERSONALE MA SOPRATUTTO NON SIETE SICURI PERCHÈ da un momento all’altro entra qualcuno in casa digitando il vostro codice perché non sanno nemmeno organizzarli diversi ! In tutto ciò ci hanno inizialmente proposto 250€ di risarcimento che alla fine non ci hanno mai dato. Ovviamente abbiamo segnalato tutto ciò a Booking che ha passato il caso al servizio di sicurezza!!!||VERGOGNATEVI. ||Quindi seguito le foto testimonianza con rispettive date :||-DEI CAPELLI NEL FRIGORIFERO.||-DELL’UOMO CHE HA PROVATO AD APRIRCI LA PORTA INSERENDO IL NOSTRO CODICE SENZA CHIAMARCI.||-DELLA RECEPTION CHE DOVEVANO RINNOVARE CON NOI DENTRO LO STABILE E QUANDO CI HANNO CAMBIATO DI INDIRIZZO IN TOTALE SITUAZIONE DI INSTABILITÁ PER DUE RAGAZZE DONNE DI 25 ANNI SOLE DALL’ALTRO LATO DEL MONDO....
