Disgusting room and bad service. We ended up checking out after 5 hours and they wouldn’t refund any of the money for either night that we were supposed to stay. People were fighting in the hallways (during the day on a Monday), the walls are super thin, the floor was peeling up, curtains were stained, tv didn’t work, safe in the room didn’t work, there was no lock on the inside of the door for protection… we were harassed by multiple people as we sat in the lobby and outside on the sidewalk, the bartender was rude and kept pushing the free drinks on us like she was purposely trying to get us drunk and was talking about us behind our backs (she thought we couldn’t hear her) when we said we didn’t feel safe. When we went to check out the guy behind the counter kept harassing us about staying and saying he’d go yell at the people upstairs who were fighting and we should just stick around and drink, and the bartender said she’d give us more free drinks (even though they already said they weren’t refunding us any money so they were not losing out on anything by us leaving early, this was super creepy IMO). As two females traveling alone, we felt super unsafe and place was really sketchy.. we got harassed just walking a couple blocks to get food (mind you, this is the middle of the day on a Monday) and we ended up having to take a $50 Uber to Ft. Lauderdale to finish our vacation. We truly believe our lives were in danger at this hotel and I’m not the dramatic type. Super disappointed they wouldn’t even compensate us for the second night of the stay. I have to choose 1 star but if I had the option then it’d be 0/10 would NOT recommend.

My loss can be your gain. Book on Airbnb and you won't get screwed paying the $30 per night bull crap resort fee when you book directly with the hotel. You'd think booking direct would be the least expensive way, absolutely not with this group. They own a bunch of hotels and are ripping everyone off at all of them. The rooms are tired, nasty, and the place smells moldy. Interestingly, someone from the hotel keeps telling me it's my fault for not reading about the resort fee when booking direct. I never denied their website shows the fee. What I am saying is that nowhere on their website does it state if you book on Airbnb you WON’T be charged the resort fee. Why is that? Because they don't want you to know that it's cheaper to book on Airbnb. They want you to think it's cheaper to book directly with their hotel. So again, instead of spending money on someone fixing up the worn-out rooms, they'd rather pay someone to send me messages saying I don't understand the fees. I asked them why they don't put a notice on their website stating Book on Airbnb and save $30 per night. That, they can't comprehend.

NEVER AGAIN!!!! The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because of location and atleast the bed was comfortable. A group of us stayed at this hotel last weekend (2/19-2/21) as soon as we walked in we were hit with noise because it was happy hour and you walk right into the bar as soon as you walk in. That’s fine however, when trying to conduct business who wants to yell their personal information. Especially when there’s already a thick plastic barrier and masks involved, anyway prior to arrival I made a call to the hotel to see if any additional fees were needed because I booked the 2 rooms on a 3rd party website. I was told only a $100 holding fee upon check-in and I reiterated I have 2 ROOMS on my reservation and I was assured I only needed $100! I wanted to make sure there was a smooth check in process. Upon checking in I was told I needed $200 and when I said that’s not what I was told the front desk agent began to quickly catch an attitude, which I didn’t appreciate because after all it was your workers that gave the false information. Anyway we got our keys and went into the room in one room there were no blankets and we were told they ran out! HOW DO YOU RUN OUT OF BLANKETS?! In the next hotel there were holes in the wall of the shower and the shower head was leaking which caused everything to get wet in the bathroom. Last but certainly not least there was a plumbing issue with the toilet, I said to myself I’ll call the front desk walked over to the nightstand and there was no room phone!!!!! At this point I’m completely angry and irritated! I go to the front desk and asked the woman working the desk for maintenance because this was crucial! I was told there’s no maintenance here but I do have a plunger! I’m completely baffled and said I’m not plunging ANYTHING are you serious and she says to me and I quote “well this is your room” and I quickly yelled back THIS YOUR ESTABLISHMENT! I wanted to go to my room, grab my bag and go but all of the surrounding hotels were completely booked! I will never step foot in this hotel again and I mean it, I don’t care how convenient the location is I will NEVER stay in this hotel AGAIN! Between the noise in the lobby and the noise in front of the hotel like it was a hang out spot and the music was so loud even at 3/4 am it was...

Unless you plan to moonlight as a Plumber, deal with horribly unprofessional management, and subject yourself to health risk due to the biohazards present in the rooms, DO NOT STAY HERE. I don’t even know where to start. The bottom line is on day one of my stay, upon entering my room to freshen up me and my friends found clumps of hair in the shower! Housekeeping was sent to clean the shower, at which point we requested a different room. By this time we realized that the toilet was pretty hard to flush as well. The hotel was unable to accommodate our request to relocate stating that all the rooms were booked. The very same night when we returned to the hotel, the toilet would not flush. We contacted the front desk who instructed us that we would have to hold our bowels for an hr before we could be helped but a plunger could be brought to the room. We grudgedly accepted the community plunger which was brought to us in a gift bag and ultimately never solved the issue. We met with the manger at dawn to discuss another round of issues to which we were met with comments like “you shouldn’t have taken the plunger,” “plumbing is just bad around here,” “there weren’t that many hairs in the shower,” “when I went to Europe I had to switch hotels 5 times, this is nothing”...the list goes on. Management was full of excuses. I couldn’t find an apology or resolution with a magnifying glass! The toilet was hit or miss all weekend as a tirade of hotel staff sifted in and out of our room throughout our stay to no avail! The very last moment of filth that I could allow myself to be subjected to happened when housekeeping came to clean the toilets (after we flagged her down begging and pleading like a row of panhandlers) after the handy man left yet again. We watched in horror and disgust as housekeeping cleaned the toilet then used the same toilet brush to clean the sink!!! She then proceeded to use one of our dirty towels from the floor to dry everything up. Stay at this “hotel” if u don’t mind picking up a trade as a plumber during your vacation, sharing the room with all of the staff who will be coming to “fix” the toilet all week, and potential exposure to a multitude of bacteria and/or viruses as it is obvious THEY DONT...

(UPDATE 2 (in response to motel): the original comment was in fact posted three years ago after contacting you to resolve MANY times, updating the comment refreshed the post date. If you refused to fix it then, you obviously won’t now, which again I’ll say people should certainly AVOID this scammy establishment if they value their vacation experience.)

(UPDATE: Got into contact with management and situation was never fixed. AVOID AVOID AVOID)

Very kind front desk staff that did everything they were capable of. Regardless this stay and the contact was unacceptable. No air conditioning in our room upon coming back from the beach. They did not have a room to transfer us to nor could they fix the AC. No sleep and room became unbearable to sit in. Tried requesting a refund and leaving that night and was told they would not be able to refund us that evening as a manager would need to be present, but that there would be one available in the morning. Upon checkout we were told the manager was not present, and that she would be back in a half hour. We waited and still no manager. Asking again they said she would be back in an hour and took our number to call us when she returned. Multiple hours pass and no phone call, we walked all the way back to the hotel and they said the manager would take another few hours to arrive. At this point we had to leave the area back towards our homes as we both work. I was ASSURED I'd be called when the manager came back. It is now four hours past the time we were told we would be called back. I had to reach out to them and unsurprisingly the manager was not around. Again the desk staff had been more than kind but without the management anywhere around nothing can or has been done. We understand sometimes things happen but sleeping in Miami Beach without AC was an absolutely terrible damper on our night there which could have been somewhat lessened with prompt follow up. I hope to be able to update this with a more positive outcome if they decide to...
