Famous beaches (Lummus Park-21-45th st beach) are here. Famous st ocean drive, mango cafe and, shopping at Lincoln rd mall, art de deco district, all r here.
The only prob is parking- as city is not that big, I went to south beach around 2 and I did not find any parking, was roaming on road for 2 hrs and then went to south point beach out of frustration
Tip- go there by 10 am and u ll get municipality parking ($1/hr) at 13th st near to ocean drive
This is longshore from 3-4 st to 47-48 street So you need to find out which part of it is best to go..(recommended 21-45th st). Beach is really beautiful. Wide shore. White sand... Calm and peace. Soothing waves... less crowd- scenic beauty...
Water is clear and looks greenish under sunlight making it desirable. asking you to come, have fun in the water. water sports and snorkeling are also there. You can book in advance taking the whole package. That would be cheaper. Shower facility is there at the beach and its clean. Lummus park beach is best among others. Near to ocean drive, parking can get at municipality parking (before 11am).
