This was the worst service that I had on my whole trip. First we were seated by a young lady who wanted us to walk across the dirt and squeeze by someones table to get to our seat, which my daughter did. I noticed a big old walk way to the seat that did not infringe on anyone's space to get to the table. Once we were seated our waiter came over fairly quick to introduce himself and to see if we wanted to order drinks. Which we did and we ordered hookah. Now because I was under a tree and I felt a drop of something hit my shoulder he moved us to another table great so far. Welp that was the last we saw of him for about 15 mins. We he finally reappeared he took our food order but please note we still has not received our drinks or the hookah. 15 more minutes passed and a guy comes out with our food still no drinks or hookah... Like 🤔 so I tell the guy to please cancel the hookah, everything shuts down in Miami by 12 it's already 11 something now we are not going to have time to eat drink and enjoy the hookah. Well once he relays the message to the waiter he finally comes over and ask what's the problem. Like seriously I don't have a drink, I have dinner and I never got the hookah so keep the hookah and please bring the drinks 🤦🏽♀️. Drinks finally come I had the moitjo it was great my daughter had some mix frozen drink which tasted like absolutely nothing so we had to ask for it to be replaced. She the got the just a regular Pina Colada which she said was ok. I had the ribs and asked to switch the fries for rice which they forgot and sent it out with fries but he did bring a plate of with rice which was actually really good. The ribs was ok not really expecting much from a Spanish restaurant and glad I wasn't. My daughter had a pasta with shrimp and half a lobster. It was literally spaghetti with a bottled marina sauce and it taste like bottled sauce. It was all subpar to top everything off this was the most expensive meal we had in S.B up until that time and we both walked anyway wishing there was a White Castle or something around because we left hungry. We ended up getting pizza 🤷🏽♀️. This place is totally knocked off my Miami radar they will never get a...
Read moreAbsolutely HORRIBLE! My initial concern was only with the 2 dishes we ordered. The food was horrible; we only ate it because we were extremely hungry after traveling in from Miami. Additionally, we could not remember a different restaurant we ate at on South Beach, so we settled; worst mistake ever!
We were served by MARIA RODRIGUEZ according to my receipt ticket and she was absolutely nasty! Once we got the bill I preceded to write notes on the receipt to let the establishment know that the food was gross 🤮 Maria tells me, “If that’s what you want to do, no one cares, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO LIVE A LONG LIFE” - mind you today was actually my birthday and she knew that because I asked her if they did anything for birthdays when we first arrived. (Side Note: they don’t give anything for birthdays except for shots, if you’re a non alcoholic drinker it’s pretty much Oh well🤷🏽♀️ according to Maria Rodriguez)
I spoke to the manager on duty, she was kind and listened to what I had to say however there was no resolution. She told me I needed to come back 2 days later because only the manager Jesse could help with refunds. I should have been refunded the check. I paid $131.70 for someone to tell me that I’m not going to live a long life on my birthday! I’m utterly disappointed and disgusted with this service.
I will still be in town in 2 days so I will go back to the establishment and see if Jesse will refund me.
The food that I was trying to give feedback about was awful. My husband ordered a chicken Alfredo and the sauce was like liquid water and bland. He added a lobster tail to the meal and it was also bland and tasted like rubber. I ordered a dish that was like a spaghetti with mussels and shrimp and scallop. It tasted like tomato soup from a can poured on noodles and warmed up frozen shrimp and scallop.
Bad food is one thing but to pay for service and be treated horribly is unacceptable! I’ll be back at the restaurant to follow up with Jesse and let you guys know...
Read moreThis was my experience on April 16, 2023 Host sat me on the porch. I knew what I wanted as I walked in due to the menu on the street. Sat there forever as the waiter attended to the other guests. As the wait for him to come over got to the completely unacceptable range of time, I waved him over. I told him I wanted iced tea and a Greek salad. He said there was no iced tea, so I ordered a club soda. I waited. In the meantime a waitress was hanging out on the stairs near me and we struck up a conversation, I mentioned the ice tea. She made a face, left, and came back with ice tea. Ok, great. Then I waited. Another person brought out a cobb salad, which is not what I ordered. The person disappeared so fast that I didn't have time to say anything. I waited for my waiter to come check on me so that could tell him that this was the wrong item. He was nowhere to be found. It was late and I was hungry, so I decided to eat it, still no sign of the waiter. Also, no club soda - I mean he didn't know that I was given and ice tea, so he was REALLY late with the drink. When I was finishing what is a very large salad, he finally comes over and asks me how I'm doing. I tell him poorly, because he was wrong about the iced tea, didn't bring the club soda, put in the wrong salad order, and didn't come check on me. His response is to tell me that iced tea must be a new beverage option that day and that the cobb is a "perfectly good" salad. I told him that that might be true but it's not what I ordered. He then points to the other waitress (who brought me the iced tea) and blames her for getting it wrong. I never ordered with her, just him. No accountability, no apology, no offer to make a correction. Bad service and a tough luck attitude. I never write these type of reviews, but this was so bad that I felt compelled to share...
