if only i can copy and paste my review i wrote about this property on the site i got it from . first of all they gave us someone else’s room at 1 am cause we landed late … so we legit walked into someone elses room that poor guy tho we were trying to rob him . then the managers like oh sorry wrong room but he can easily just give the codes out to anyone which means we can walk into anyone’s room if we had the code also the dude said his code never changed smh … second room had a ac vent but no air so at 2 am to 4:30 am we waited for their maintenance guy that was suppose to come in 10 mins LOL they came the next day and the guy said it was only him and he never got the text messages. they only go by texting guys ! they will only pick up the first time when ur checking in …. the rest is all via text messages u guys need to read some of these texts i got from them . it’s crazy . anyways if u guys need towels toilet paper anything u have to go downstairs the guy / lady was never there cause their always getting towels and what not. so there is always a large group of ppls waiting around for towels . oh btw there’s guys downstairs always asking everyone to do tours with them and their rude and like kinda scamming these ppls into getting tours with them over priced ones. now the last day i left my gold earrrings there and asked if they can ship it back. of course they said it wasn’t there i even remember the cleaning lady that walked in at 11:05 am cause check out is at 11 am on the dot guys they will knock on the door ( they aka the cleaning lady ) . i also read other reviews saying if u leave anything behind forget it loL they don’t ship anything back even when i offered $$ . that’s my fault for leaving my gold earrings . but their service is the best it me calling 5 times and so many messages for someone to tell me if they sent a message to the cleaning staff . also the area isn’t the best so please becareful at night time and it’s sooooooo loud ! a lot of the guest comes back after midnight at this place.if u have kids or is a light sleeper i...
Read moreI will start with the only positive; location. The location for this hotel is excellent, being just a block away from Ocean Drive with shopping and a couple good restaurants. We were there for a bachelorette party, 2016 Memorial Day weekend. We had three rooms, which they call “suites.” The bath tub wouldn’t drain at all, which we complained about. The remedy? The front desk manager gave us a plunger for us to do the work. Second issue was that we had bugs on the bathroom window; they looked like cockroaches. There were also no towels, and the blow dryer caught on fire. The kitchen was empty with only a couple of plastic cups, when it’s described on the website as a full kitchen. The rooms were dirty, and upon complaint, there was no offer to clean them. We asked for maintenance personnel and we couldn’t find anyone. The front desk told us someone in maintenance would not be there until the following day at 8:30 AM, which they then switched to 9:00 AM. Finally, they said it would be 10 AM when someone in hotel maintenance would arrive. The front desk did finally try to offer us different rooms at the same hotel, but those were worse than the ones we were staying in. We were so tired for all the inconvenience and the entire day that we wasted going back and forth to make complaints, with the only one person (front desk manager) on the premises, that I had to get an attorney involved to see request a cancellation and reimbursement for the remaining 2 nights we had booked. The entire time, the front desk manager was rude and unapologetic. The official hotel manager was offsite and did not respond to my attorney's e-mail and message until the next day, despite the urgency of the situation. She misstated the facts -- no doubt relying upon the rude front desk manager -- stating that the room wasn’t in my name, and claimed that the other people in the other two rooms did not complain at all. She concluded by stating that she could not meet our expectations. I would definitely not recommend this...

I should’ve paid attention to the actual rating of the hotel and not just the reviews. It’s a 2 Star hotel & that’s a generous rating. The front lobby is nicer than the actual rooms. There is no central air conditioning- window units only. My AC never cooled my room even with the fan on high & the temperature on the lowest setting . After 3 days of this I was over it. Unfortunately, my stay was for 6 nights. :-( The maintenance staff came to my room to check it out- he clearly wasn’t HVAC certified. He tinkered with the window unit for a couple of minutes then finally told me to close the bathroom door to cool the sleeping area! I was surprised but not shocked. That wasn’t going to help because it didn’t address the fact that the AC ITSELF wasn’t cooling, but ok. Whatever. The phone in my room was dead & didn’t work. On my last night there, the power went out & electric company workers came at 4am to complete work outside the building. When I woke up at 7:30 am- the room had no power. I couldn’t even heat up breakfast. I didn’t get a receipt upon check out because the entire block lost power! Thankfully I was flying out in a few hours & not a minute too soon. If you book through a 3rd party site (Expedia, Orbitz, etc.) know that you will be required to pay an ADDITIONAL resort fee per day and provide a credit card for a $100 deposit hold for “ incidentals”. This is funny to me because very little services are provided in/at your room, and seeing that I had to stay 6 days in a super warm room with a weak AC unit, I should be asking for a credit!
On the positive side, the location is great, the staff is friendly, & I enjoyed their front patio. It goes without saying, I won’t be returning to the Princess Ann because of the uncomfortable stay I had. This was just a lesson for me to pay closer attention to the hotel rating & reviews before booking my next hotel stay. I made the best out of a less than satisfactory situation & am glad to...
