The HORRIBLE inn Upon check in the man was very rude, scammed us , and made us feel unsafe. The man just kept starring at us not saying a word then when he did he barely spoke up. I kept asking him to repeat what he was saying and I eventually just had to put my ear on the glass for me to hear him. I was charged for additional people which is understandable, however i booked the room that was meant for up to 4 people with the double queen bed and the price I paid after two nights ended up being $500. If I had booked the room with the four people are room total would have still been 377 on booking.com. We were charged 30 per person per night so it was 120 for the two other people bringing the room to the 4 people max plus $18 In tax so it was an additional $138 on top of our $377. The neighbors we were talking to upon check in said the man was rude as well and that they booked for up to 4 people and they only had three people and they charge him for that third person. THEY ALSO ONLY CHARGED HIM 20 PER PERSON PER NIGHT! They scammed us ! They also charged me $8 for parking even though it says free parking on booking….. When we entered the room it smelled like cat pee and there was mold in numerous parts of the room/bathroom. We tried calling the front desk for some towels and spray and after a while they finally picked up. They said they had febreeze and would bring some for us. When he had arrived my sister opened the door and he proceeded to just walk in without her permission. She then quickly backed him up and said excuse me we have 4 girls in here (which he knows since he asked for all of our drivers license and questioned us on our age), one friend in the shower and the rest of us changing. He threw the towels at her and then when she asked for the spray he said no I have to do it. And walked in and sprayed fabreeze on EVERYTHING , including our open luggage’s clothes on the bed make up brushes the pillows, etc. The spray helped for a little bit but since he would not leave the spray it quickly smelt like cat pee again. Due to this we left the windows open majority the time and this caused a couple of us some health issues: asthma and allergies. This felt like an invasion of privacy and was an uncomfortable stay. They could not move us rooms either because they didn’t have any other rooms to fit all four of us….. The day came for check out and the man once again as we are packing up loading things in the car the man walks right in and says are you leaving? We clearly were and we also had 15 mins until check out . I get checking In with people for check out, but we were clearly leaving. Apparently he has done this to numerous people and has even woke people up at 8 am saying check out is at 11am. This is not a boot camp , this is suppose to be a place were people come to stay and relax during vacation. But we couldn’t do that with this man basically breathing down our backs the whole trip and draining money not only from us, but...
Read moreLet me start by saying this review is not regarding the room itself. The room was actually quite decent and clean, but thats not what is earning this 1 star review. I have never been treated so poorly by customer service in my entire life. The male at the front desk, just apon arriving amd checking in, had the most repulsive attitude ive ever experienced. He kept repeating himself about the smoking policy, but was literally yelling at us and pointing his finger at us, and i dont even smoke. My fiance does, however, smoke cigarettes but she has enough class to not break that almost universal rule. He also had repeatedly asked us, very rudely might i add, if our driver was staying too, and really was not letting up on the rudeness. As we were attempting to unload our bags out of the car to bring into the room, he came out of his office screaming about having too many bags, and scolded us saying he has a "one bag per person policy", yet, there was no rule posted anywhere online or at the desk about this and i informed him of that, and he basically forced me to argue the matter and remind him who the customer is and how much we were paying to stay there. He finally let off a bit and rudely shut his speaking slot. We had a fine time in the room itself and i really was impressed with the shower and bed. When the morning came, we contacted a Lyft to pick us up and informed the front of this and the lady said we had an hour but was also very rude, screaming about how we need to get out in an hour, but proceeded to call every 15 minutes or so, screaming at us, saying "you need to get out now! Its 11, leave now" even though she had just agreed on allowing for an hour. The moment the hour hit, we had to reorder the lyft twice but the driver was 2 minutes away, the male manager from the previous night came pounding on the door, screaming his head off and insulting us and being absolutely horrible to us and it was all uncalled for. He started to grab our stuff and thats when i finally had to step in and remind him of his duties and that what he was doing was wrong and dispicable. When i raised my voice just a little, he turned and walked away, still screaming but this time in his native language, but threatened to call the police once he was next to his office. The Lyft arrived and we left, and will never be returning...
Read moreI would strongly recommend against staying at this property. We travel quite a bit, often staying at a mix of higher and lower priced accommodations and finding the good in them. We wanted to love this place. But the gentleman managing it seems to want to do everything to prevent that. On Saturday afternoon (busiest day of the week), with people sitting outside to relax.. he proceeds to direct his maintenance man to use a gas powered leaf blower for an hour within 5 feet of guests sitting outside - the noise and junk blown in the air were intolerable. We asked politely for them to perhaps do this another time and were abruptly told no. In addition, the same gentleman, after asking and establishing that we did NOT want room service earlier in the day, knocked and keyed into our room before my wife, who was alone, could even answer the door. When I asked him about this event, (again politely), he lied and said he didn't do it and then said "I was doing room service. I'm sorry...what do you want me to say?"...and then followed me across the parking lot, repeating the same thing. It was bizarre and uncomfortable. He had NO room service cart and we never saw him do room service (some very nice women with carts did room service). Again, we did not have expectations of anything special and wanted to enjoy what we knew would be a low key property. They (he) did everything to ensure that we did not. Bordering on bizarre - we were actually a little...
