Lane 33 Cafe — Restaurant in Napa

My very favorite taco place in Napa when I want GOURMET tacos is this restaurant. No question about it!! The calabacitas ( I'm probably spelling that wrong but I'm a gringa so cut me some slack) vegetarian and the pescado (fish) tacos are so insanely delicious I can't stand it. Alex, the owner, is the coolest yet most humble guy. He works his @$$ off and although this place is inside a bowling alley, who cares!! It's the best tacos you will eat, the most original you will put in your mouth. The flavor combinations are so creative, the ingredients so fresh, the tacos look like art on the plate!! And his other dishes too are so tasty!! He has amazing soups, he does this corn tamale dessert thing that if you ever see it on the menu....OMG!! I can't wait for him to bring it back. His apple pie is so yummy. Even his regular diner food is great if you force him to make American food!! Haha. I took my 4yo granddaughter once and got her chicken strips and French fries, but tacos for me and I took a bite of her food.... and I was like, wow, great fries and strips!! Anyways, killer food here, don't let your ego about going to the bowling alley to eat keep you from discovering Napa Valley's best kept secret. This place will amaze your taste buds!! He's opening a regular taqueria in the outlet food court soon, but this is his TREASURE!!! If you know of anyone looking for a job, I believe...

Out of this world tacos! 😱🌮 Is there a way to rate them 10 stars?! Oh wow… i ordered 3, and had to order 3 more after trying them (our party of 4 all went back and doubled our orders for more!). They’re truly magical, super well seasoned and full of amazing flavor. We tried almost all the options of tacos and each one was just a burst of flavor.

Mexican food here is available Wednesday thru Saturday ONLY! The calabacitos taco (squash and corn) is AWESOME!!! The Crispy potato tacos are a MUST! And the Pork Al Pastor (pork and pineapple) taco is amazing!!!

Update on Wednesday the 5th of October: Just heard that the Mexican food will no longer be served here as of October 16th. So SO bummed!!!! They are closing. Fingers crossed that the owner Alex will find a great place to land. Thank you so much for the AWESOME food Alex. Until we...
