We reserved three rooms for my son's college graduation and military commission afterparty. May 2nd-May 5th, 2024. It was a HUGE event for us so we reserved 2- one bedroom suites and one-two bedroom suite. These were booked months in advance. We are Founder's/Presidential Reserve level, and our first time in Nashville. This resort is nothing to brag about. The accommodations were OK, except for one. I am grateful that by luck of the draw, our guests were not given the room we had. We took a one bedroom suite on the third floor. They did mention it was ADA accessible. That was fine because we had a special needs daughter that was going to use the pull out sofa. This room doesn't look like it has been updated since the 1970's except for the flat screen tv. The refridgerator leaked some brown liquid on the floor. I cleaned it up twice, maybe three times while there. There was a total of a 12 inch square for counter space. Remember the days of white appliances. We had a four burner coil stove and matching tiny fridge. The tiny dishwasher had 1/2 of the gasket pulled out so I was afraid to use it. I was sure it would leak. Where is the dish soap? Oh, in the console the TV sits on, along with the pots and pans, in the living room. If you open the couch to a bed, you cannot get to the round dining table in the corner. Where are the serving spoons and spatula? in the broom closet on the shelf next to the blender. You have to search your room to find the amenities. God knows where the strainer is. The silverware was in a basket on the 12 inch counter with the coffee maker. Coffee is across the room on the table. The shower used three different metals/finishes in one shower. The floor in front of the shower felt like i was going to fall through it because the shower curtain was too short. The shower curtain rod fell once. The bedroom had no mirror. The hotwater heater was in the closet so you really didn't have a place to hang your clothes. We went to put clothes in the built in dresser and guess what, that is where they put toilet paper and extra towels. They tried to milk this room for space that just didn't exist. AND this is the type of room you would give someone with disabilities? REALLY? Wyndham Nashville, you should be ashamed. You should give me my points back because it is the worst room I have ever stayed in, EVER. We drove across the US in the 1990's and still, this is the worst room I have ever stayed in. Yes, we did complained but it fell on deaf ears. I took pictures because I can't wait to go back to our deed property, go to one of those marketing meetings, and show them what a 1.2 million points in your account gets you...even worse, you would give this room to someone with disabilities.

Nothing but problems....until the end....mold in the tub, broken bar stools, broken dining chair, wobbly washer, microwave light didn't work ...but after 4 days, countless help from maintenance and pictures, the manager came to our room, with gift card and another welcome basket and comped our stay and made it right. Kudos all around to maintenance, Jeremy and Jerome, for going above and beyond to try and make things right. They truly worked hard. Kudos to the Shane who took most of my messages and pictures of problems, and big shout out to Bill, one of the managers, who came and personally made things right. Two days before we left, I really didn't have much desire to come back and stay here, would have rather taken my chances at the hotel chain that I work for, but Bill took the bull by the horns and owned the many short comings and acknowledged that some of the problems were why they were renovating. I can't speak loud enough on appreciation to all the staff. I had zero problems with internet, all the appliances worked except for a burned out light bulb. The bottled soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bath areas are great! The kitchen layout in the 2 bedroom is awkward at best, but was adequately stocked with essentials to BBQ, cook a pizza, make a pot of spaghetti, or even bake a cake. The carpet and SOFT HIDE A BED COUCH and wing back chairs are comfy but showing their age (again remodeling in progress) I actually can't wait to come back a little later into the fall next year and see how the remodel looks. Next to Moab and St George, this is my new favorite place, not just for an easy place to connect to a plethora of activities and adventures within 200 miles, but it makes it easy for our east coast family and friends to meet up. One of rooms pictured is a lock off room. That means it is adjoining Most people that complain on Google, are people that rent thru Expedia or used a gift certificate from an owner and did no homework on the property or what it has to offer.

The room was great except for a the 1 star. we had the worst hotel experience with customer service and employees, I’ve ever encountered. First of all we called and ask if they had a pool, someone at the office said yes it’s open. we showed up and it was being renovated when we got there. mind you I called a month in advance. They never said it was gonna be renovated. So whatever. We got there and asked if we could use the outdoor hot tub. They said yes! We jumped in about 7 pm at night and they kicked us out! Said they’re closed for the season, ok but I just saw a couple jump in a couple hours before. Now you’re closed for the season? They were 2 very rude men came out and yelled at us! We also made time to check out the 2.5 hour tour when they said “it’s only 1.5 hrs”. Showing us one of those so called vacation homes. Our guide was a complete jerk. Treated use like we were dirt mad at us because we said that’s out of our budget. Then laughs in our face bragging about his own pathetic life.ALL He was looking for was a SALE! Very rude, very upsetting made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable! Yes we got a free show at the Grand old Opry But get this they messed up the dates on the tickets and basically told us we were SOL “shit out of luck” I ended up going to the Opry and buying my tickets. Lastly they were renovating the roof gave us a day in advance to be notified. Dangerously throwing shingles on the ground nails every I had to move my car at 6 am. didn’t have any caution tape anywhere I stepped on a nail! I don’t speak Spanish, I had no one I could report this to, nobody took any blame I felt lost honestly very heart breaking about this situation my vacation was a wash . I wish someone would come forward to apologize to us and at least give us our money back. Ruined my whole vacation. hopefully the CEO of the company can read this and apologizes to us and do something about this matter! I’m adding my photos to this as well

Two-sided review - PLEASED with resort; HORRIBLE experience with the owner presentation. Summed up: The resort, the amenities and the staff were great; AVOID THE OWNER UPDATES at this location)

Nearing the obligatory 60-min mark in the presentation and not wrapping up, I notified our very friendly sales agent that I needed to leave very soon in order to make a scheduled meet-up. He acknowledged and continued with his pitch and even brought a second person over to explain something; we again told them twice that I needed to leave, but my husband offered to stay and continue the conversation. In short, they wanted us to spend more money, but disguised it as a conversation about a “problem” on our account, and that we would not get the best value if we did not upgrade.

After additional reminders about time, my husband and I were both becoming increasingly frustrated. We told them we would be happy to remedy any issues with our account when we returned home from vacation. Now nearing the 90-min mark, we asked for the promised gifts for our 60-min obligation-one of which included a shuttle pass I needed to make my scheduled meetup.

They continued to make comments like “ok, if you don’t want to get the most for your money”, and continuing to talk in circles to keep us there. At this point, my husband stood up and said, “You’re not listening to us - we’re xxxxx done; we’re leaving - where can we pick up our gift?”

A woman showed up at our table, and without introducing herself, told us that we needed to get out. I tried to explain our frustration that we had met our obligation, were asking for our gift because I needed to leave. She had the NERVE to tell us, “YOU scheduled this; you shouldn’t have booked it if it was inconvenient.” I replied, “The 60-minutes we signed up for was not inconvenient, but we have met that obligation; please just give us our gift and we will leave.” Again, she SCOLDED us for signing up for the time, which prompted my husband to use the same expletive and say we were DONE.

I doubt this is part of your training, but as she walked my husband into another room, she wagged her finger at him like he was a 2-year old, and TWICE told him (using the same expletive) that he could not say that word there. We finally left after 1 hr and 40 mins

My husband and I are not new to these programs. As Wyndham owners for 9 years, and timeshare owners for 20+ years, we have seen many of these presentations. I have been annoyed by the sales tactics, but I have NEVER been treated so disrespectfully.

As we were leaving the resort, we stopped in to clarify any actual issues on our account and to ask the names of the people we spoke with the day before. We saw the second person we had spoken with and went to talk to him. He acted as though he did not remember who we were and while he willingly gave us his first name, he repeatedly said he had no idea who the woman was we were trying to get the name of. Our original salesman joined us and both of them adamantly denied ever witnessing the angry woman ordering us to leave the day before and did not know who we were talking about, despite the detailed description AND despite the fact that we stepped through the doorway to see her in the room they had just stepped out of!

This unnamed woman came out angrily to tell us to get out and said she was calling security. I asked her why she escalated so quickly and we just wanted to know the names of all the people we had spoken with-still no answer.

This woman is Wyndham’s problem, but this will not be my last message for Wyndham corporate. When her name would not be given, my husband raised his phone saying he would take a picture instead. We have a picture of her lunging at my husband to grab his phone and a voice recording of her threatening to sue him and to call the police by now. The recording includes me asking her twice to stop touching my husband.

Looking forward to your usual response: “Thank you for sharing your detailed review about our property. We understand we have missed...

I have a child in college in Nashville. Our family has stayed here many times during orientation, parent’s weekend, etc. We are not owners but have stayed on the property through regular bookings. The property is not in downtown but I feel is a great location for being able to park your car (important), near Opryland, and the highway. The pools are nice and it seems to have many activities going on:). The property itself I feel is very nice. The rooms/condos… Over the past two years of staying here, the rooms/condos themselves have gone straight down hill. Painting, aircon, bathrooms, general upkeep is seriously lacking. I showered and the bathtub floor was “spongey” :(. That being said The condo was very clean, sheets, dishes, refrigerator, even coffee maker was very clean! Front desk “Check In” staff was amazing and very informative!! Most likely the best part of the property. I will add that EVERY TIME I have stayed the front Check In staff have been amazing! Now for the reason I will NEVER a stay here again. Concierge….. Every time I have been here to check in I have been BOMBARDED by TIME SHARE sales people. Now look, I understand that this is their job (most likely commission based by their eagerness) but this past check in I was appalled! My family had been driving for 10+ hours, exhausted, just wanted to check in and eat. After check in I was instructed to “go to concierge” to receive my bracelets (discount and room key). I asked the front desk if it was necessary to go to concierge or if I could bypass. I was told I could “explain” to the concierge that I did not want these things. I thanked the check in folks and turned to walk away. This is where the concierge people (at least 10 of them there) “yelled” to me as I tried to walk out the door “last name??, last name???”, last name?????”. Not a hello, not a nice greeting just yelling. I turned to the young man (much younger t than I) and said kindly “I have stayed here many times, I do not need discount vouchers and in no way am I interested in buying a timeshare. My family and I have been driving all day and we are tired and hungry and I would like to save you and I some time and just go. He proceeded to say “last name?, last name?” At this point I had had enough and said (knowing I did NOT have to give him my name) no, I am not giving you my name! He proceeded to say “are you an owner??” at least 3 times and I said “no”. He then said in a very loud voice while following me out of the building “then you are free to go!” Free to go??? As if I wasn’t before his permission?? And, it’s not as if you can escape the time share bombardment, they literally block the door. FYI they will also call your room so do not answer the room phone!!! Sadly, I will really miss the extra space, washer/dryer and full kitchen. I was trying to avoid all the AirBnB fees by staying here but in the end it is not worth it. So many nicer places closer to Music Row and Downtown through VBRO and AirBnB. I will not stay...
