Two-sided review - PLEASED with resort; HORRIBLE experience with the owner presentation. Summed up: The resort, the amenities and the staff were great; AVOID THE OWNER UPDATES at this location)
Nearing the obligatory 60-min mark in the presentation and not wrapping up, I notified our very friendly sales agent that I needed to leave very soon in order to make a scheduled meet-up. He acknowledged and continued with his pitch and even brought a second person over to explain something; we again told them twice that I needed to leave, but my husband offered to stay and continue the conversation. In short, they wanted us to spend more money, but disguised it as a conversation about a “problem” on our account, and that we would not get the best value if we did not upgrade.
After additional reminders about time, my husband and I were both becoming increasingly frustrated. We told them we would be happy to remedy any issues with our account when we returned home from vacation. Now nearing the 90-min mark, we asked for the promised gifts for our 60-min obligation-one of which included a shuttle pass I needed to make my scheduled meetup.
They continued to make comments like “ok, if you don’t want to get the most for your money”, and continuing to talk in circles to keep us there. At this point, my husband stood up and said, “You’re not listening to us - we’re xxxxx done; we’re leaving - where can we pick up our gift?”
A woman showed up at our table, and without introducing herself, told us that we needed to get out. I tried to explain our frustration that we had met our obligation, were asking for our gift because I needed to leave. She had the NERVE to tell us, “YOU scheduled this; you shouldn’t have booked it if it was inconvenient.” I replied, “The 60-minutes we signed up for was not inconvenient, but we have met that obligation; please just give us our gift and we will leave.” Again, she SCOLDED us for signing up for the time, which prompted my husband to use the same expletive and say we were DONE.
I doubt this is part of your training, but as she walked my husband into another room, she wagged her finger at him like he was a 2-year old, and TWICE told him (using the same expletive) that he could not say that word there. We finally left after 1 hr and 40 mins
My husband and I are not new to these programs. As Wyndham owners for 9 years, and timeshare owners for 20+ years, we have seen many of these presentations. I have been annoyed by the sales tactics, but I have NEVER been treated so disrespectfully.
As we were leaving the resort, we stopped in to clarify any actual issues on our account and to ask the names of the people we spoke with the day before. We saw the second person we had spoken with and went to talk to him. He acted as though he did not remember who we were and while he willingly gave us his first name, he repeatedly said he had no idea who the woman was we were trying to get the name of. Our original salesman joined us and both of them adamantly denied ever witnessing the angry woman ordering us to leave the day before and did not know who we were talking about, despite the detailed description AND despite the fact that we stepped through the doorway to see her in the room they had just stepped out of!
This unnamed woman came out angrily to tell us to get out and said she was calling security. I asked her why she escalated so quickly and we just wanted to know the names of all the people we had spoken with-still no answer.
This woman is Wyndham’s problem, but this will not be my last message for Wyndham corporate. When her name would not be given, my husband raised his phone saying he would take a picture instead. We have a picture of her lunging at my husband to grab his phone and a voice recording of her threatening to sue him and to call the police by now. The recording includes me asking her twice to stop touching my husband.
Looking forward to your usual response: “Thank you for sharing your detailed review about our property. We understand we have missed...

Read moreI have a child in college in Nashville. Our family has stayed here many times during orientation, parent’s weekend, etc. We are not owners but have stayed on the property through regular bookings. The property is not in downtown but I feel is a great location for being able to park your car (important), near Opryland, and the highway. The pools are nice and it seems to have many activities going on:). The property itself I feel is very nice. The rooms/condos… Over the past two years of staying here, the rooms/condos themselves have gone straight down hill. Painting, aircon, bathrooms, general upkeep is seriously lacking. I showered and the bathtub floor was “spongey” :(. That being said The condo was very clean, sheets, dishes, refrigerator, even coffee maker was very clean! Front desk “Check In” staff was amazing and very informative!! Most likely the best part of the property. I will add that EVERY TIME I have stayed the front Check In staff have been amazing! Now for the reason I will NEVER a stay here again. Concierge….. Every time I have been here to check in I have been BOMBARDED by TIME SHARE sales people. Now look, I understand that this is their job (most likely commission based by their eagerness) but this past check in I was appalled! My family had been driving for 10+ hours, exhausted, just wanted to check in and eat. After check in I was instructed to “go to concierge” to receive my bracelets (discount and room key). I asked the front desk if it was necessary to go to concierge or if I could bypass. I was told I could “explain” to the concierge that I did not want these things. I thanked the check in folks and turned to walk away. This is where the concierge people (at least 10 of them there) “yelled” to me as I tried to walk out the door “last name??, last name???”, last name?????”. Not a hello, not a nice greeting just yelling. I turned to the young man (much younger t than I) and said kindly “I have stayed here many times, I do not need discount vouchers and in no way am I interested in buying a timeshare. My family and I have been driving all day and we are tired and hungry and I would like to save you and I some time and just go. He proceeded to say “last name?, last name?” At this point I had had enough and said (knowing I did NOT have to give him my name) no, I am not giving you my name! He proceeded to say “are you an owner??” at least 3 times and I said “no”. He then said in a very loud voice while following me out of the building “then you are free to go!” Free to go??? As if I wasn’t before his permission?? And, it’s not as if you can escape the time share bombardment, they literally block the door. FYI they will also call your room so do not answer the room phone!!! Sadly, I will really miss the extra space, washer/dryer and full kitchen. I was trying to avoid all the AirBnB fees by staying here but in the end it is not worth it. So many nicer places closer to Music Row and Downtown through VBRO and AirBnB. I will not stay...
