THE PLACE for REAL country music in Nashville, TN! The bar is away from all the glitter and glamour of Broadway in downtown, giving room for the real sounds that made Nashville what it is, or should I say, what it was! Folks, you'll not hear any bro country here. You'll not deal with teenage drunks requesting Wagon Wheel or Sweet Home Alabama for the 50th time, you'll find an atmosphere of friendly people enjoying drinks, music, and just having an all around good time! My wife and I visited here on 12/28 and 12/29. It is located in a small shopping mall area behind a few restaurants and hotels but it is well worth the visit! Our first night we arrived as the Vince Moreno Band was setting up, and when they started, man what a show. Vince had Tom Killen, steel guitar player for 30 years with George Jones, playing with him, along with the fiddle player for Mark Chesnutt. We didn't notice til about an hour into their set when a man jumped up from a couple tables in front of us and went on stage... and it was Collin Raye who sang some of his hit songs like "Love, Me" and several Merle Haggard songs! The bartender, Dillon, was great and he remembered what we were drinking, all I did was make eye contact, nod my head, from our table close to the bar, and here he came! Dillon is as deserving of a good tip as much as the bands! For ANYONE who wants to hear the sounds of the Hag, the Possom, Cash, Waylon, Willie, Whitley, you name it... then DO NOT miss this place! Thank you guys for keeping real country music alive! We will be...

Read moreAnyone can play here, you do not have to have any musical talent or know anything about sound to play here. Most musicians that play here are tone death. Also, Look out for the Bartenders here, you might get threatened or feel threatened by them. They do play Classic Country but not any Rock N Roll Music. Prepare yourself with some ear plugs, not a bad place to drink or eat with a good Country settings and feel to the place. Just beware of the music and the way it sounds. It could only be my opinion, If it is, everyone could be tone death going to this place so you might like everything about this place. As for me, Every Drummer sucks, only one person plays the Keys here, The Acoustic Guitar Players and Singers need lessons, there are not any solid Bass Players that play here, The Steel Guitar players are decent, only 3 lead Guitar players are good and only one is great for his age but because they live and grew up in Nashville. If you have a young musician that is eager to learn how to play music in the family, Nashville is a good place...
