I struggle to find the words to effectively describe this experience.
Environment: This entire event was very unorganized and seemed to be most focused on selling novelty items and getting tips. It was an uncomfortable evening. Everyone, everyone was extremely nice which makes this review also uncomfortable. The owner's greeting when first entering was over the top and it continued throughout the entire event. There were tip containers everywhere so bring money to tip.
Service: It was fantastic. The wait staff worked very hard to ensure you had everything they could provide.
Price: Get a ticket to the Grand Ole Opry.
Food: Vegetables were soft, seemed to be from the can, and boiled too long. Salad seemed to be from a bag. The chicken was not edible because it was extremely overcooked and looked like it was cooked multiple times. Cobbler appeared to be poured from a can into a foil pan. All the food appeared to be freshened up from prior dinners. I was super nervous about what to eat without getting sick.
Entertainment: They played a 30+ year old Tammy Wynette video for the first hour then spoke about how they toured with her years ago. The bus of high school students in the audience was the highlight for me. The owner was the focus/star throughout the performance (from the time you walk in until you leave). Most of the performers had multiple jobs (similar to an akward comedy where the town mayor is the sherrif who is also the town tour guide who is also the paper boy who also runs the town diner).
Underwhelming and awkward evening but everyone was super nice so I feel bad saying how...
Read moreTERRIBLE. If you are planning on going here, please do not. I spent a week in Nashville and this "Dinner Theater" was the worst experience of the whole trip. For starters, the food that is "homemade" was far from it. The mashed potatoes were instant, the spaghetti sauce was just straight tomato sauce and the salad bar was lacking in everything besides lettuce. Then to add to the mix, the food that was advertised was not even on the buffet. There was no fried chicken and no meatballs among other things that were absent. One of the people in my party ordered lemonade and after receiving it, it was disgusting, they politely asked for another thing to drink and the waitress said "oh I know. Our lemonade is awful". It was just one thing after another and was the worst experience I have ever had! Save your money and go some place else. I would not even recommend this so called "dinner theater" to my worst enemy. It is the biggest rip off and the people who work there...
Read moreI wasn't expecting too much when we initially came here. It's a dinner show in a strip mall! Thankfully I was very wrong! Dinner was buffet. Salad bar was good, variety of veggies but missing some items that other, strictly only buffets places would have, like sunflower seeds and sliced eggs. Main course was fried chicken, spaghetti and ribs. Ribs were usually empty so they were either really good or they never put many out! They also had baked potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls among others. Servers always kept the tables clean and drinks filled. The show was excellent with a mix of old and new country, amazing instrument and vocal solos as well as a comedy and ventriloquist! The band was "just" the house band who were phenomenal. The fiddle player alone was worth the cost. Everything was family friendly as long as your children like...
