Centrally located in downtown Nashville. While the place is in the main road, there is no real visible sign, once your GPS says you arrived, it's better to take first right entrance, go up hill turn right & you will see signs for Iris parking. Checking & checkout process with Jose was very pleasant, always great to see such a magnificent customer service. From my understanding each room has different look & feel. So my opinion be for the room we stayed at and reason behind 4 star VS 5. Room to Price for off season is high when you compare prices to hotel chains (I travel for a living), so most likely during summer season expect to pay prices that would equal staying at Marriott or Hilton downtown Indy! Room was cozy, but in our opinion cluttered, I do understand it's meant to feel as a cottage, but something to be said for simplicity. We felt bed was hard to our liking, but I know other people enjoy hard mattress (Jose did inform me other rooms have softer mattress) The old fire place (see picture) really has no place in the room, taking space & would cause issues trying to get to bed from that side. Bathroom was small. I wish furniture outside were either metal or wood. The cushions on chairs looked unclean & didn't invite you to sit on them. Don't get me wrong, room was very clean this is coming from someone that has allergies & would been sneezing if room wasn't cleaned. Other part we enjoyed being so close to main street but yet we felt safe and room was quite (maybe due to off season) Overall great experience, we will return to check in at different room, of course depending on price. I don't see myself paying more than...

Iris Gardens in Nashville, IN is ABSOLUTELY the most enjoyable lodging place to stay you will ever need. The business is FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED. Not a Big Name multiple locations place. Matthew, Amy, Josie, and Tanner Gray take Great Pride in providing the the most enjoyable stay while in Nashville. ||While there is other Lodging in Nashville, you will NOT receive the attention, absolute best pricing, and wonderful rooms.||You will receive PERSONALIZED AND INDIVIDUAL attention from Check In to Check Out. The Property Owner Josie Gray even provides her PERSONAL Cell Phone Number for any After Hours needs you may have. Josie Gray will do anything she can to make your stay exceeds your expectations.||The rooms are VERY CLEAN, WELL SUPPLIED, each have a private outdoor patio. The prices are VERY LOW AND AFFORDABLE. In addition, on site, there is a unique "Rock Shop" where you can enjoy "Mining" for unique and special rocks like the 49er's and go into a wonderful indoor shop to enjoy "one of a kind" rocks of all colors, shapes, and sizes. ||Next door to Iris Gardens, don't miss the "HOT DOG SHOP". They have the most enjoyable great tasting BBQ's, Hot Dogs, etc, and the most affordable pricing in Nashville.||We come to Nashville, IN every year for our Wedding Anniversary. We LOVE the slow, quiet, unique shops. We ALWAYS stay at Iris Gardens AND NO WHERE ELSE. ||You will NOT be disappointed in your stay...

The location of this place is great. Parking is right behind the complex, and down some stairs to the cottage. We stayed in Chipmunk Junction, which was a 1 room for 2 people. The room was excellent with a front porch to people watch folks shopping at the Gem Mine. Also, Big Woods is right across the street for dinner or takeout. The only two suggestions I have for the owners...the pillows on the bed were brutally bad. Maybe most folks bring their own, but we didn't and both had a rough night. Mine felt like a stack of magazines put inside a pillowcase. The other is the TV that is in the room is pretty small for how far away the seating is. There is a couch and a bed where you can watch the TV, but the room is so big, that the couch is probably 15'-20' feet away. Trying to watch the Colts was tough to see where the ball was. Those are pretty minor, and definitely have no concerns about staying here again in the future. Thanks for the great stay!

This place is adorable and the cottages are all close together with a fire pit area in the middle, which made for fun socializing. It’s family owned and very well run. Josie greeted us promptly and even moved her car so we had a great parking spot. She gave us great recommendations that we acted on. We had a local beer at Quaff On Brewing and dinner at Out Of The Ordinary Bar. The pork tenderloin sandwich was delicious and Josie had called the bar to buy our first round of drinks for my birthday. The location of these cottages is right on the Main Street and walkable to everything!!! Arrive early though to take advantage of the shopping because they all close at 5:00. We loved having drinks and morning coffee on the cute front porch of our cottage named Chipmunk Junction. Bed was comfortable, we had a nice electric fireplace and coffee and toiletries were provide. Staying here was very special and one we will never forget!!!
