We were in Nashville this weekend and it was extremely busy. We went into the boutique to shop and while we were shopping there was an older lady with long hair , an employee or maybe the owner, walking around asking people to put their masks on or to pull them up. There were signs at the door when you went in reading something along the lines of “ don’t come in without a mask.“ There were several people in the store and there were a few people not wearing masks. As she was walking around you could tell she was thoroughly annoyed by the fact she had to tell people to put their mask on. However, I was not one of those people ! I found an item that I wanted to purchase and when I went up to pay for it, she was extremely short with me . I think she was so frustrated with the fact that she had to ask people to wear their masks that she forgot her manners. I was tempted to stop her mid transaction and put my item back because she was so focused on people coming in the door . My only thought at that time was if she was so worried about it on such a busy weekend she should have stayed home or closed the store all together . I gave two stars because I do like the item that...
Read moreUnfortunately, my otherwise pleasant visit to Nashville was ruined with a parking ticket for parking more than 18 inches away from a curb - on a residential side street, in a cramped, parallel spot about 1.5 cars long. A very minor, unintentional infraction that in no way interfered with the flow of traffic. A quick money grab on unsuspecting tourists. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this city or any of its businesses.
Update: I will not retract the review. I don’t recommend anyone visit your business or any other in this city. I would recommend that businesses contact the local police / city council about their predatory practices. For me, it’s over and done with. I traveled to and spent money in your city. I was rewarded with an unbelievably petty parking ticket that I had no choice but to pay. My only recourse, and I even feel it’s my civic duty, to spread the word and discourage anyone from visiting Nashville. What happens from this point doesn’t affect me. I’ll never return. But you, on the other hand, have the power to collectively influence the practices of the city and local police for the benefit of potential...
Read moreMy sister came to visit Indy from New Orleans and we took a day trip to Nashville. Our plans to explore everything were side-tracked when we came across Foxfire! We spent an easy two hours in there and bought several tops, bags, jewelry and even gloves. Came home to find that one of my blouses had a tear in the side seam. When I called the store, there were no questions asked except, "Would you like a refund or would you like to see if we have a replacement". Such wonderful customer service! We will be shopping here a couple of times a year whenever she's in town for a visit. It's an adorable boutique with great prices and good merchandise that is organized, color coordinated and very friendly. Top on our list for a Nashville must-do! Thank you Foxfire, for your kindness, quality and great...
