HOTEL FROM HELL. on our road vacation we decided to stop before our destination to visit in Pittsburgh. Late night so we called this hotel which was nearby, advertised highly. Greeting folks like this was the Hilton or something. After paying in advance on way arrived to a nightmare. Now you see why staff was so pleasant. They sucked another customer in.$$ for them. All in the back entrances was full of old furniture, mattress, garbage etc. Halls on the 1st floor and rooms was lined with old broke down furniture.garbage. our second floor room we were assigned had spotty linen, cement falling off the walls, dirty microwave, fridge was literally all dirty and rusty inside. Shower curtain was dirty and filty on bottom.Towels all thin and worn out like there were stilled being used from 1800s. Nothing accessible, pool etc. No breakfast..not that I would have eaten their. We had about 6 hrs to get back on road. Was so tired. Went to walmart to buy linen to lay on top of bed. Also use a can of bacteria disinfect to spray all over the room and everything in it.Slept with clothes on and checked right out by 6-7 to head to a facility to wash and change clothes so that we could get on with our trip. How could the village ltself allow this place to be open which is also a HEALTH & FIRE HAZARDOUS. I pray more people will read the reviews before approaching this haunted house. Not even fit for homeless. Only ones benefiting from this dump is the owner and employees I guest this is an example of how they live so they see nothing wrong. God don't like ugly. You will reap what you sow. Be aware of prices. $41 a night now. Check out places 1st with...
Read moreVery disappointing. I showed up and wondered if the place was even open for business. The exterior was very dilapidated and unkempt. Weeds everywhere, trash, etc. I've walked in to ask about my room, and verify if they were open they said yes they were open and that they were under construction. Well, I should have asked more questions and for a tour of my room. I checked in, walked to my room and found it clean-ish. Mold was growing on all the caulk joints in the tub/shower, the fridge was all frozen up. But all in all it was a doable room without the mold. I checked for bed bugs and didn't find any. So went to town and pondered my situation as I shopped for groceries and decided to move out and get a room somewhere else. I drove back and asked if it could either move out with a refund or stay one night and get the rest of my stay refunded. They said no to both and had already ran the full amount on my card. I pushed a bit and showed them the photos from the website that were clearly NOT this hotel, at that point they started showing me more rooms and trying to appease me. Long story shorter, I asked them to super clean the mold and decided to stay because I wasn't getting anywhere with the refund unless I called Ramada/Wyndham directly. My overall stay was decent, the place was pretty quiet. It did often smell like smoke or marijuana in the hallway and lobby. With a manager that cared this place has great potential. As is, it's very rough and the lack of upkeep shows at...
Read moreStopped for the night as my family and I were driving through on our way home. Front staff were kind and easy to check in. They were a little difficult to understand at times, but other than that, good. The room looked genraly clean at first glance but, in the bathroom in the shower there was a used soap bar still on the shelf in the shower, on the bed closest to the bathroom on the left side of the bed looked like vomit stains dripping down the mattress and on the box frame from a previous guest. The beds were ok to sleep on. We did check for bed bugs and did not find any. Plug outlets were exposed and could be a potential fire hazard. There were several damages throughout the room. The bathroom door looked as if someone had kicked or punched it from the inside of the bathroom. The air-conditioning unit worked pretty well throughout our overnight stay. The breakfast was very skimpy. They had cereal but no milk, no juice as the machine was not working, they had waffles but that was about it. They did have coffee, no creamer. The pool was not working and had been empty. The entire outside and I side of the hotel looked very run down. The trash cans outside of the building were overflowing and looked like they had not been emptied in a long time. The main reason we picked this hotel was because it was $75 a night, but it probably was only worth $50 or...
