I got my husband tickets to see this show and a night out in NYC for our anniversary. We had to reschedule as I ended up getting sick, and the show runners were really flexible. Due to this, I went in really excited to see the show and have a nice meal. The show started off cute and The characters were quirky and went around to meet everyone. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. We felt like we were at a bad wedding reception. Throughout the show they had these weird dance breaks that honestly had nothing to do with anything related to the murder mystery and the DJ played the music so loud we could barely function. There was even a very odd musical number. My husband and I aren’t the stuffy types and we were even embarrassed for the cast. There was no way anyone could have figured out the “who dunnit” and those that won I think knew the cast. The food was decent but not nearly enough given I paid over $100 a person for this. We had no choices for any part of the meal and I didn’t even eat the dessert. we ended up starving an hour later and getting dessert from another place (just an added expense).
I would not recommend this experience. It was priced too high for a show that my 8th grade students probably could have performed better, and food that...
Read moreI went to this show 2 weeks ago and was so disappointed our family left half way through. Both the food and the show are below any minimum expectation we had. The food was cold pasta and chicken so breaded i am convinced there was no chicken in the chicken parmesan. Bottom line: not edible. The show consisted of a basic whodinit skit to start and then 2 hours (before we left) of interviews of audience members. After 20 some odd interviews i was speachless and bored to tears. The interviews had little to do with the story line (very thin at best without the interviews) and of course no one in the audience had any idea about the plot was so I must ask... why??? My wife and I had gone to Tony and Tinas wedding years ago and had a blast. We took our high school kids to this show hoping they would enjoy the experience. They were the first to leave and at a cost of almost $700 for 5 of us, this was the biggest rip off ever in NYC. Stay...
