The Grounds and Building are well kept both inside and outside. It is modern and welcoming. No weird hotel smell. The main entrance is well lit and the front desk staff are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Ice machines are working, clean, and available. I did not see any vending machines but they do have a "Marketplace" next to Main Reception. There is a Bar in the Main Gathering room that does serve food. Amazing food! Breakfast is "Made to Order" and will cost extra every morning. But it is worth the small fee-$10! If there was room service we didn't get a chance to request it. The only thing we did need was extra blankets for our pull out bed. Which the receptionist had in a small room behind him. All nicely packed in a plastic carrier that includes a pillow! This Hotel does have a $50 per night "Incidental Fee" that takes 3-5 business days for a return once your stay is over. They offer a great check out time of 12pm! No rushing out in the morning! Housekeeping is quiet. You couldn't even tell they were around. Oh, and when we did see them they were friendly! This hotel will also turn your room over everyday, including towels. So make sure your DND sign is on your door if you do not wish to get new linen. About 24 hours before your stay you'll get a "Welcome Email" that explains everything and names of staff members you may meet during your stay. we paid $129 a night. Cons: No amenities. No pool. No gym. They do have a gorgeous courtyard but during the winter it's too cold to use. But I'm sure it's a hit during the summer! The parking lot is "ok" when it comes to lighting. Parking is ample but will fill up quickly after 6pm. If you require a safe, you need to take your valuables to the front desk and they will secure them. We stayed in room 209. The pictures posted are to that room and that room alone. Pictures are right before checking out. Our room was spacious and so SO clean! The bathroom is large! There is a night light in the bathroom so you don't have to turn the light on in the middle of the night. I don't understand why the sink was out of the bathroom though? If you needed to use the sink and someone is still sleeping the noise travels in the room. Across from the sink is a small closet, it has a blow-dryer, iron, hangers, bag holder, ironing table, and a laundry bag. This closet looks small but has a good amount of space. The shower had Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash in it. It smelled great and did not leave my skin or hair feeling dry. I was very pleased with it. As with the bar of soap left by the cleaning staff. Two rolls of toilet paper to start. High seated toilet. Did I mention a good size CLEAN balcony? A fridge, coffee maker with great coffee, and a roll out desk? Black out curtains? This room literally had it all. The pull out couch comfortably slept my 7yo but could fit an adult easily. Not a single spec of dust/dirt was too be found. ABSOLUTELY NO BUGS! The bed was medium firm. Not my preference but my husband loved it. We could not tell if we had neighbors because we did not hear anything. Room is very quiet. Cons: No exhaust fan in the bathroom. I looked and couldn't find one. So after you shower all that moisture just stays in the bathroom. TV was screwed down to the desk? In a weird place too, up at the front. It was odd. The room also offered a telephone. If I had to give you advice, I'd say: The recent negative reviews...I don't know. Ignore them. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and I have already booked a room with them when I come back in June.

Friendly, helpful staff even right after another big nor'easter. The building was fine but the surrounding trees and thus power system took a beating. They had it all cleaned up & everything up and working in an amazingly short time. The staff appeared to be working very long hours and remained polite and helpful throughout. I'm amazed at how well prepared they were to handle a major storm on very short notice.

Good location, not too far from Boston city, but the rooms are on the older side, and the facility is a bit older, towels harder and thinner, and the smell of the spare blanket was very dusty... Guess they weren't used much. Room had good space, warm at night, but breakfast was good (avocado toast particularly!) and they didn't go above and beyond anywhere else... Just satisfactory.

Shortly after I checked out of the the Canton/Norwood Marriott in Massachusetts on Thursday, June 23rd I got a flat tire as I drove out of the hotel parking lot. I was on my way to a very important client meeting in Waltham, approximately 30 minutes away. My only thought was to jump in a cab and get to my meeting on time and worry about getting my tire fixed once I got back. I backed my car into the lot, parked it, and went to the front desk to ask the gentleman working the desk to call me a cab. The General Manager, Stephanie overheard me telling the front desk clerk what happened and offered to use her own personal AAA membership to get my tire repaired while I was at my meeting so it would be ready when I returned. She didn't have to do that! She could have stayed completely out of the conversation or just commiserate with me, but instead she went out of her way to help me and save me countless time and aggravation in the process. SHE IS A SUPERSTAR and I hope sincerely that Marriott acknowledges her heroics and exemplary customer service. Not only did I make it to my meeting with 10 minutes to spare, I returned several hours later to a changed tire in plenty of time to beat rush hour traffic on my 3 hour drive home. I have already shared this story with my colleagues and the cab driver who drove me to Waltham and back so he could share it with his other passengers and people he knows in the Norwood area. I will forever be indebted to Stephanie for her assistance and excellent customer service. SHE IS...

I was suppose to stay at the courtyard Marriott Boston Norwood/Canton location when I was in town the week of June 13th visiting family. My sister works for Marriott so I always use her discount under the Explore Program rate when I am in town. I was greeted by front desk agent and already felt bad energy from the beginning. I checked into room, after traveling all day and then I get a call from front desk saying that my Explore authorization form was fake and counterfeit. The manager Jillian Paulitzkey then goes on telling me the Form# is wrong and I had to gave my sister fax over another form. If not then I would be charges the normal rate. I called my sister explained situation a as I never heard of anything like that before or had any problems and neither had she. She emailed me over another form and I brought it to front desk and the front desk agents keep telling me my form is fake and Im a fraud. I would be charged the normal rate if I stayed. I felt Racially profiled, rejected sisters authorization Explore Program form as they could have easily checked & called hotel but they kept telling me they need correct form or they would charge my credit card different rate. I get so made mad, and agitated. I get managers info and leave property as I no longer felt comfortable in staying there. I went to another Marriott property…No ISSUES… My credit card is still on hold five days later at this racist location. I will be filing a discrimination lawsuit also. #Marriott Boston Norwood/Canton racially...
