The London Orlando at the Florida Mall — Hotel in Oak Ridge

The front desk staff was wonderful - able to offer suggestions on where to eat. Hotel and lobby were all very clean and tidy. Room was comfortable with the exception of the air conditioner being broken. I did not notify anyone of the problem so can't say if/how it would have been remedied. I arrived around 6 pm went to grab food and was back by 7 pm when I set the temp, I assumed it would just take some time to cool down - so I said nothing - realized the temp was not changing late - after I was in bed for the night - leaving in the morning. So other than a broken AC which I am sure they could have fixed, it was a nice place to stay. I did not take away any rating points because I chose not to address the issue. ||||This hotel is next to a dunkin' donut and did not say anything about a free breakfast and I didn't inquire. The website clearly stated pet friendly with pet sitting/walking service. Upon check-in I was told no pets at all welcome, even though my reservation clearly stated pet friendly like the website. No manager on site, had to wait to contact one with family and pet in car after driving over 3 hours. The bathroom was filthy, corroding pipes, peeling wallpaper and ceiling. Carpeting throughout was filthy. No breakfast was served, though advertised it was, not even an accommodation for new COVID guidelines. Advertised high speed wifi - it barely worked in the lobby, didn't work at all. wouldn't even connect, in the room on 3 different devices. checking in with my boyfriend and my sister. we hung by the pool and mostly enjoyed until. the manager at this hotel her name is danile dow was very rude and prejudice. she loudly told her staff to watch for spanish women because most of them are prostitutes. i confronted the employee she was talking to just to clarify what i had heard and he clarified that she was in fact a racist and didnt want black men or Spanish women in the hotel. he was very hurt in his eyes he expressed he couldn't fight because he needed the job and for even confronting her about her prejudice his hours were cut. housekeeper were extremely rude and told us we werent allowed to walk in the hallways on the phone! idk whats going on here but no one should have to pay to be...
