recently purchased a package of fresh tortillas ( chapati) Patel brothers grocery store and I must say it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The tortillas were not just stale; they were riddled with an unmistakable smell and an appalling case of fungus.

Upon arriving home and opening the package, I was immediately greeted by an unpleasant odor that can only be described as a mixture of damp cardboard and mold. It was a clear indication that something was seriously wrong with these supposedly "fresh" tortillas. Nevertheless, I decided to give them a chance and inspect them more closely.

I immediately contacted the grocery store Manager Alpesh Bhai to express my dissatisfaction and concern. They offered a refund, which was appreciated, but it couldn't undo the fact that I had wasted my time and money on this purchase. The store should have exercised better quality control, and this experience left me questioning their commitment to providing fresh and safe food products to their customers.

In addition to the inconvenience and disappointment, this incident also raised concerns about the potential health risks associated with consuming moldy food. Mold can produce mycotoxins, which can be harmful when ingested, and it's unacceptable for a grocery store to sell such compromised products.

In conclusion, my experience with the fresh tortillas from this particular grocery store was highly unsatisfactory. The presence of a strong odor and visible fungus is a clear indication of poor quality control and a lack of regard for customer safety. I would strongly advise anyone shopping at this store to be cautious and thoroughly inspect their purchases to avoid a similar disappointment. I drove 30 min my way to the Patel brothers store, which was an inconvenience in itself, and expected to receive the promised full refund. To my astonishment, when I arrived at the customer service desk, they refunded a mere $1.99.This not only contradicted their assurance but also made me feel like they were treating me as if I were a poor homeless beggar, I would give them 0 but they is not...

Patel Brothers has its own place and good service Patel Brothers has its own place and they have changed the new address to near Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, Florida- Store is so big and they have variety of Asian Indian Groceries , items etc. They also have a Kitchen which i did not know-they make really fresh Mr. Alpesh the owner is outstanding, very quick, down to each and highly helpful, caring , do the job, perfect and he is keen on helping customers...he has an office now, we checked out just in front of it, girl might not speak so well but super quick in her action and deeds in putting things and getting things done, smiling and the team lead or the young girl comes to help her if she needs anything - amazing- Great Team work - i congratulate for thier good work, hard efforts to make this possible and it was not easy to make such a big store without no issues in the building or parking lot - wonderful - Please pass to the Upper management- great Asian Indian store visited on August 19th 2023. The other good person who was very helpful was Mr. Ashok brother we would have asked at least 5 to 7 times minimum. most helpful and nice dedicated gentleman i forgot to take Auto Rickshaw picture since i was talking to the person who is selling for Lord Krishna i missed it otherwise i could have got a picture

May 17th 2025: Patel Brothers owners and their family go out of the way to help out... Their family is dedicated this store.. Just now only varieties, way of services, some of the counter folks are really humorous they like Drjustkidding:) comedy.... and really humorous. They deserve a good pat for...
