I recently had a disappointing experience at a restaurant due to the poor service provided by our server, Erica. Throughout our meal, Erica displayed a lack of professionalism and seemed disinterested in attending to our needs. Firstly, Erica was consistently forgetful, frequently neglecting to bring us the drinks we had ordered. This lack of attention was frustrating and made us feel neglected as customers. Additionally, she appeared to be in a rush to get us out of the restaurant, which made us feel unwelcome and rushed through our meal. To make matters worse, while we were waiting for a to-go box and our check, Erica was engrossed in her phone, texting away. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful to us as paying customers. It was clear that she prioritized her personal matters over providing quality service. Furthermore, as we attempted to leave the restaurant, we discovered that the door was locked, leaving us trapped inside. This is a clear violation of fire code regulations and poses a serious safety concern. It is unacceptable for a restaurant to neglect such basic safety measures. Despite these significant issues with the service, I must admit that the food at this restaurant was exceptional. The quality and taste of the dishes were outstanding, and it is a shame that the service did not match the culinary experience. In conclusion, my experience at this restaurant was marred by the rude and inattentive service provided by Erica. So this is our 3rd time coming here because normally we go to the Semoran location. The last time and this time around we had the same waitress and the service was bad, which is so off for this restuarant chain. We love love the food but today it was off. A bit more salty than usual and the waitress non existent. Once again in the past like our firt time first time eating here at this this location we had amazing service just like the semoran location but these last 2 times, ugh the waitress took the appetizer and drink orders and didnt come back for 12 minutes before we got our drinks. Then took food orders and left, brought the food out in which the turn around was great however about 25 minutes after we get our food we look around for the waitress because we needed another glass of water but didnt see her. Another 6 minutes and my husband sees her and calls her over asking for water, she says ok and leaves. 10 minutes later and NO WATER. I tell my husband we will get the check before your water, sure enough she comes over after another 3 minutes asking if we were ready for our check and I laughed and my husband asked for his water, she laughed and asked us if her coworker didnt bring it to us. Ok, this is my second review posted on this same restaurant location. Oh Que Bueno has been a favorite of mine for years, the one in Semoran has never let me down. However, this is my second time going to the one located in OBT. It’s so bad that I would not return to the OBT location. First, we were handed slightly cold soup (which by the way was not made as they usually make it; this one tasted like canned soup, and it was cold). We handed it over to the server, and I asked if she could microwave it. It was then returned, not hot, but warm enough to eat it I guess. Then I got my grilled chicken, I cut a piece out for my daughter, she ate a few pieces but said it tasted weird. I tried it and it was still slightly uncooked. I decided to take it home with me and finish cooking it. I did not complain to the server about the chicken; I figured what’s the point. I was already full with the cool soup I got. Then at the end, we ordered our favorite smoothie to go and got the wrong one. We didn’t complain since we were already in the car. I’m not sure if there’s a problem with the chef.
