Arrived at check in time. The staff at the desk was not very friendly or inviting. Only told me a $50 deposit would be put on my card and taken off if not issues or extra charges. We were staying 2 nights. The next morning, we went down for breakfast. The area was not very clean. There was cereal all over the counter. The food was sparse and the supplies were low. For some reason, they had a large cooker with macaroni and cheese for breakfast. The breakfast area was very busy. Lots of "customers." They tables were filthy. I only saw one person working the breakfast area. There were no plates or forks. The food looked dried out that was left in the warmers. I tried to find the staff and could not find her any where. I walked up to the front lobby desk to ask for some items. The young India woman with long dark hair was standing at the desk looking at her phone. I know she should have seen me out of her peripheral vision. I had to say "excuse me, ma'am " twice before she looked up. I told her what we needed. We were not pleased at all on the entire meal here at this hotel. I could tell that there was several people that just live at this hotel. We left for the day to do the activities we had planned. Came back to the room and it was not serviced at all. I do not expect clean sheets but we would have appreciated the bed to be made. The dirty towels and wash clothes were not cleaned up and we did not have any clean linens for the next shower. There were several housekeeping carts and workers in the hallway when we left that a.m. I went to the front desk when we got back, to let the desk staff know of my dissatisfaction of the service. I was told that I was informed by the staff when I arrived that we would not have service unless we requested it. We were not told anything other than the extra $50 charge. I said that information was never given. I said since we showered, we needed clean wash clothes and towels. This is ridiculous. Since there were so many people that live there, the staff should have plenty of time to clean the rooms of the guests that need it. We were not the only guests that were not satisfied with the stay. A few men were riding down the elevator and were complaining about not having clean towels. I do not know why you have to request clean towels or service at a hotel? The next day were noticed the bus depot was across the street from the hotel. Now I know why there are people living there. The cleanliness and the service was substandard. The area is very shady and dirty. Lots of debris and litter in the area. When we went to leave Sunday a.m., we dis not even eat there due to the poor experience from Sat. There was not a soul at the desk and there was a sign saying to leave the keys in the plastic box. I was going to let them know they needed to put a trashcan in the room and the bathroom receptacle plug in was not working. I was not able to do this. I did see someone sitting in the office but never came to the desk. I also wanted to get a paper print out for my stay and make sure the charges were correct. I would not ever stay here again and I will not recommend it to anyone. The workers need to stay off their phones while working...
Read moreI’m never one to write reviews. Ever. I like to give places the benefit of the doubt. But I felt obligated to write this to steer anyone away from this place. I had to come to OKC for a week due to work training. I’m big on my health and fitness, so I booked this place because of the indoor pool, and mention of the gym. I reserved the room yesterday, Sunday 2/23, and was given a cost of $389. I check in today, and I am charged $402 PLUS a refundable $50 fee on top of that. I come up to the second floor, and there are kids running in the hallway, screaming. It smells like dirty poop filled diapers, and weed. This is a smoke free hotel, but someone was smoking weed 100%. Whatever, they can pay the $250 smoking fee. I walk into my room and immediately notice how…different the room is compared to the pictures posted when booking. My bathroom smelt of old urine. My toilet paper roll was half used, and I had one folded towel, and then a much smaller towel. It’s just me, so whatever. The carpet is stained up, dingy, and there are spill stains all over it. All of my furniture in the room is damaged, scratched and then colored over to make it seem like it’s not damaged. None of the drawers fully push in, and there is a layer of dust on each drawer top. The curtains in my room are stained and almost yellowed, and one of the curtains is ripped off of the hooks. The AC unit had suspicious brown stains right on the air vent. After already hating having to be up here for an entire week, I was excited to go swim. I booked this place for the pool. It’s closed. The water is greenish. Immediately annoyed, I was like okay, I’ll take a long walk on the treadmill. The treadmill is broken. It sounds like a hammer is hitting the treadmill over and over and over again. I came back up to my room and was just annoyed at the state of things and the fact I paid over $400 for this room. I go down and speak to the front desk attendant and mention the towel issue, the half roll of toilet paper, the dirty room, the confusing extra charge compared to my reservation amount, the broken treadmill, and the pool. He looked me dead in the eyes and told me that all of the problems will be fixed tomorrow. Really? Gonna fix the pool, the treadmill, my towels, toilet paper, and deep clean my room, and get rid of the dirty diaper smell? Amazing. I came back up to my room and went to call the front desk, since I forgot to ask about something. And my room phone doesn’t work. The phone in my room says room 232. That is not my room number. I picked up the phone and there isn’t even a dial tone. So I call using my cell and finally talk to the same front desk attendant and he insists on making jokes when he already knows I’m annoyed and very displeased. He then tells me I’d have to come BACK downstairs and get the towels, but everything else, I would have to call back tomorrow after 9 am because that’s when the manager gets in. And nothing will be done until then. Luckily for me, I’ll be in training all day tomorrow until 4 pm and will not be able to speak to her. So all in all, I’d rate my experience 0/5 stars. I still have three...
Read moreThis was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It started as soon as I arrived. There is a field next to hotel with a homeless camp in tents set up. As soon as I stepped out of my car I was approached by a homeless woman asking for money. I went in the lobby to check in and the man working was very nice and quickly had me on my way to room. When I got in elevator the smell of marijuana was overwhelming. I headed onto my room with my 2 teenage daughters. The 2nd floor hallway also smelled horribly like marijuana. My room, room #232 was an adjoining room with #231. The guests in #231 had multiple children and several adult women carrying crock pots and party decoration. The guests in #231 were screaming and children running across room, hitting walls, and several times tried to come through the adjoining door between our rooms. I finally went to lobby and asked for a room away from them as it was too much. I apoke with the man that originally checked us in and another man at the front desk and was informed those people in #231 were having a birthday party and was then assigned room #332. I went and re-packed mine and my daughter's belongings and moved to our new room #332. When we got there our keys did not work. We then had to carry all of our stuff back to lobby to get keys activated again. This time the front desk man said he would take the stairs and meet us at room #332 since elevator was slow and he would make sure key worked. When we got up there, he was holding door open for us and the sofa bed was open and out, but did not have sheets. He said he would bring us linens for it. We unpacked and I took my daughters to dinner and their concert. I came back to the hotel and proceeded to make the sofabed for my daughter. When I went to put the sheets on, the whole sofa bed frame fell apart. That is why it had not been closed in the 1st place. I then went back to the front desk and spoke with the man again and was informed there were no more suites available ike we had reserved and paid for. I was then given a regular room, room #406. I then had to pack all of things again to move to our 3rd room! When I got to the 4th floor, the smell of marijuana again was terrible and one of the rooms across the hall had towels stuffed in front of door cracks. Room #406 had a light fixture cover missing in the bathroom, only half a roll of toilet paper, black stuff splattered on bathroom ceiling, toothpaste splattered on the bathroom mirror frame, something splattered on the back of bathroom door, and the bathroom shelves that hold towels were extremely dusty. I have stayed in several comfort inn and suites and this was by far the most horrible experience I...
