This particular Sonic is usually the best one that I have been to, but that was not the case today. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich but by the time that I got back to my office and looked inside, I had gotten a hamburger with cheese and ketchup. No lettuce, tomato, onion. Just bread, meat and cheese. I was unable to go back at that time so I returned a few hours later with the burger and receipt. I felt immediately like I was not believed, even though I handed them what they handed me earlier in the day. At this point, I am extremely hungry because it is almost 4pm and I haven't eaten. They replaced the burger with a grilled chicken sandwich. No apologies, no free drink, no coupon. Nothing. As my husband drove away, I began to eat because I was hungry. What I found was very disappointing. The bread was smashed flat. The chicken breast was soooo very dry and for some reason torn into 3 pieces. The tomatoes were slimy. The lettuce, well, what little there was, it was skinny slivers. Mayo, not sure where that went. Maybe the dry chicken absorbed it. Don't know. They do have the tendency to show the order is on its way to you, but you still wait quite a few minutes for a car hop to come with your order. It seems they're just trying to keep the wait times on the computers to a minimum and take their time getting it to you. Tonight, on my way to work, I placed an order on the app like I usually do, it was only popcorn chicken and 2 drinks. It took over 10 minutes for my order to say it was on the way (on the screen kiosk thing) and then another 10 minutes for my food to get out to my car. The car hop said it was a bunch of newbies working tonight, which I understand can be stressful, but don't say the order is on its way if you don't have anyone to run it. Waited over 15 minutes at the stall before pressing the red order button to ask where my food was. Got none of the sauces I ordered, got no sauce at all. Read moreI’m only posting this review because I’m really upset about multiple sad things going on in my life including the anniversary of my dog dying, and this was the cherry on top.
All I asked for was groovy sauce which was on my order, 5 packets (the maximum amount per order) and I didn’t get any. I asked for some before leaving, told her we needed 5. Then we were greeted with them and you could tell she was in a rush, then she ran back inside before I could say we need 3 more as I was given two, which wasn’t enough for 2 large fries and 2 burgers for my boyfriend and I.
We pulled back around through the drive thru and explained, asked for three more, we were asked how many was on our order, said 5. Then we were only given 2 more.
I felt like that was on purpose because she was annoyed. Whoever you are, you ruined my night. I just wanted some groovy sauce for my fries dude, because I was sad my dog died. You were so rude.
