Elevate: Modern Massage — Local services in Oklahoma City

Terrible experience. Showed up at right before 3pm for my 60 minute massage. I was left to change which took me 2 seconds, and then I laid there until after 3:05pm when the therapist finally came back in. The massage ended at 3:57 so just fyi you will not get the full 60 minutes even when you arrive early. I had to tell the therapist to stop massaging my shoulder 7+ times, yet she continued to massage that area. It is not very relaxing when I have to instruct you on what to do every 5 minutes and you're not even listening. Most of the massage was her doing this one sweeping motion from my shoulder to my neck, like she didn't know what else to do. My right shoulder was hurting because of the way she kept pushing it. It was popping, but not like a knot was being released--more like my should was being dislocated. I told her that with those exact words and yet she kept going back to it like she had no idea how else to give someone a massage. After the massage, she was there for 2 seconds to take my payment before disappearing to who knows where. There were never any questions about how I was feeling, what the massage was like for me, etc. It was weird, and made me wonder if this place is even using licensed therapists? I would definitely avoid...

Great massage. Don’t miss your appointment and if you do, don’t ask if they’ll still take you at another time. I have a lot of service connected damage in my neck and leg and needed to be seen. Manager told me they’d book me at another time but had to charge me still for my no show. (I understood that, and I Thought we both understood my next appt was gonna be covered by my no show fee). It wasn’t, and management didn’t stick by their word. Will not be a repeat customer.

My fiancée gave me a gift certificate for Elevate. I had never had a massage before. Helen was the therapist that worked with me. I have to say the experience was absolutely amazing. She is obviously a well-practiced professional who did a wonderful job. Not only did she help me feel completely at ease with this new experience, but also worked wonders on my biggest problem areas. I have an arthritic shoulder and sciatic pain that she has helped immensely. I would happily recommend Elevate...
