On September 22, I arrived at this hotel to check in. The location is difficult to find — it’s tucked away with only a small sign that would be easy to miss at night. The entrance also looks more like a backdoor than a main entryway. When I reached the front desk, the employee on duty was on a personal phone call. She ended the call but did not greet me, only smiled. I provided my name and explained that I was checking in. She immediately told me there were no rooms available. I explained that I had already paid for my room, and she then checked the system and informed me that my room had been given away and there were no rooms left. I asked if I would receive an upgrade since I had paid in advance, but she said that because my reservation was through a third-party site, I would need to cancel it myself. I explained that my reservation was nonrefundable and that canceling would result in charges to me. She appeared unconcerned until I asked to speak with a manager, at which point she stated that she could see if she could switch some rooms around and then said she could cancel the reservation on their side. I called the third-party company, but they were unable to reach the hotel directly multiple times. After a frustrating process, the third-party provider ultimately refunded my money. Throughout this entire interaction, the front desk employee never apologized and displayed no sense of customer service. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Front entrance was dirty with trash and dirt on the floor. The front desk attendant said she needed to get to our room first before we got in - sounded like they were not even ready for us. We go up the elevator, it is all scratched up and marked up with obscenities and random words. Walking down the hallway, we hear everyone talking and their TVs, and a dog barking no privacy at all. Once the attendant comes out of the room, we walk in and the room is very dirty and old. There are Skittles on the floor, some chewed up, and I check under the bed and there is more candy scattered everywhere. I check the bathroom, there is still toilet paper in the toilet, and pubic hairs on the seat. The desk next to the bed had gum stuck underneath it, right next to the bed. The TV was worthless, not a clear image, very limited channels. There is no privacy, I could hear everyone in the hallway talking, the people upstairs sounded like they could come crashing down through the roof at any second. Windows were paper thin, and there was a loud diesel truck running at the front entrance for what seemed like an hour, and all you could hear was the noise from the engine in the room. Do not come here if you expect to sleep. Anytime someone flushed a toilet, a loud sound would come from the bathroom as if you had flushed the toilet. I felt disgusted being in the room, and sleeping in the bed. In conclusion, I have never had a bad hotel experience until coming to this hotel. You get what you pay for.

Decent place to stay. The rooms are not extremely huge, they're more like a bedroom with a kitchenette and a bathroom. The bathrooms are good sized. Sink is located in the bathroom. Tub/shower, toilet, countertop space and large mirror. And even with two people taking ridiculously long showers one after the other there was always hot water available. The kitchenette doesn't have an oven. There are 2 range tops for cooking, a full sized fridge/freezer, sink, and few cupboards/cabinets & one drawer. It is arranged in such an awkward to use way but the layout of the room doesn't really offer other options for where things go. The main room space has a queen size bed on a platform that leaves the underneath open for storage. A small open front closet that's pretty standard to hotels. A desk with chair and single nightstand. Tv sits on a short dresser with 4 drawers. It will feel like some corners were cut when the rooms were decorated. Its not bad, just sorta minimalist. The staff is cool and helpful. There's also a simple breakfast in the mornings (coffee, tea, hot cocoa, oatmeal, muffins, granola bars). Nothing extravagant but nice, quick, and easy when on the go. Be careful about the length of your stay. And if you check out early there might be a rare recalculation leaving you with a tab at the end, even if you were paid up to the day you leave

Personally, for me this brand doesn’t meet its supposably core values. That airs on their promotional channel and marketing material. I BLAME the corporate decisions makers of companies that allow their properties to go downhill. It’s no different from a slum landlord/owner of a residential property. Become of the below problems that can and should be fixed. This property wouldn’t be my first choice. Horrible, horrible Wi-fi Internet. Because of the pandemic, some jobs are requiring remote workers. The internet connection is SLOW and throughout the day, I am constantly having to log back into ESA Connect. Several times, I have been in work related Zoom meetings and the Internet disconnects and I must log back in. Totally Embarrassing. My next point. Paper thin walls. Loud noise from adjoining room neighbors should be prohibited. Especially, at night, around 10pm or a little later. That’s when working people begin to start winding down and guest should begin turning down their TV’s and eliminate noise. People are getting ready for bed. Yet some guests could care less. They play their TVs loud throughout the night. They hold loud conversations and could care less of their neighbors. Recently, I could not get any sleep until 4am in the morning because one of the guests played his TV all night and held phone conversations. By 2am, I was livid. By 3am, he decided he wants to throw things around in his room. Imagine you’re trying to sleep, and you can hear all this noise on the other side of the wall. It seems that management focus is on those staying less than a few days. Once they check out, they quickly try to begin processing their room cleanup. Yet the people that are staying for months at a time, they should consider them as the lifeblood of the hotel. But it reflects back to their CORE problem, the company’s management style. My personal experience, opinion, based on my recent experience is -- these people don’t care. Which brings me to my next point. Housekeeping. This location cannot keep housekeepers. Now throw in nasty guests, multiple large dogs in rooms and rooms not being cleaned, guests setting trash and beer bottles in the stairway landing, and guess what you got? When I first moved in here several months ago, my room was infested with roaches, and surrounded by noisy neighbors. I asked to be moved to another room. I didn’t see roaches in the new room as in the former room, but I did see 2 bed bugs that I killed. Goes back to the cleanliness of certain rooms. I Never had these types of bugs – BEFORE! At any place. The previous hotel that I lived at in Georgia provided housekeeping services twice a week. Clean towels, clean bed linen, bed freshly made, free toilet paper, sweeping, mopping of my rooms floors and trash bags for each trash can. Here, I have NOT seen any of the above services but only once. And I’m paying the same amount of money that I paid in Georgia. Totally disappointed. Dope infested. Dope users lay in their rooms and smoke dope. However, cigarette smokers must go outdoors to smoke in the cold, snow, sleet, and rain. There are even signs everywhere barring cigarette smoking in the rooms and stairway landings. But as I said earlier, dope users have a field day here. There have been many times that the smell of drugs was SOOO bad, as I walked out my room door -- that I wanted to gag. And management won’t do anything about it because they don’t know where its coming from. Filth – several times I have noticed the main floor areas trampled out with dirt and grime for 2 or 3 days at a time. Lastly, I will add that this place has a LARGE pet occupancy and from what I’ve noticed, they’re pet owners with multiple dogs. Huge dogs crapping all over the place and their owners not cleaning up...

We stayed at the Extended Stay America at 2720 NW Expressway in OKC, for almost 2 months. I should have known something was wrong when on my very first night, I saw a roach crawl across the floor Infront of me. But I figured hey bugs come inside with people so I didn’t think it was going to be an issue. but as the days and weeks went on, more roaches started to make an appearance. Strike 1. ||||They proudly announce that you get a fully stocked kitchen in each room. YEAH NO. Fully stocked, as in a sink, stove, and fridge, (not even a full-size fridge) But that was it. I inquired about items for my kitchen and was told they did not have enough for everyone. So why offer this if you do not have enough to equip each room. So just to be able to cook in our kitchen I had to purchase almost 200 dollars in pots, pans, plates, bowls, cooking utensils, silverware, etc. just to be able to feed my family. Strike 2 ||||Strike 3 was when I had a man come to my room late at night, and try to come in. He was claiming I was his date and had been talking to him on messenger. NOPE. I tried many times to tell him wrong room, but he tried to force his way in anyways. I tried to call the front desk FIVE times that night after the incident. But nobody answered the phone. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my room to go down to the desk. When I informed the hotel about the problem after checkout, I was told that the doors lock at 11pm and they were never informed till now. Well, if you actually answered your phone, you would have known about the incident. ||||I am just warning EVERYONE to stay away. Especially if you are thinking you may leave early and need refund. When I called to inquire about the handicapped room, I was told by the guy on the phone, to do an online reservation, because he would not be able to guarantee one if not. So, I did what I was told by the agent and made the reservation in advance. Never got the handicapped room, so I had to purchase about 100 dollars in bathroom bars, and a bench so my husband can shower safely. NEVER RESERVE AHEAD. This is the reason I am being denied my $1,300 refund. I am being told that because I reserved ahead, I would not be getting money back. BS. I work at an extended stay hotel (not this company thank God) and if you leave early, you get a refund. I even had a co-worker call and ask if they prepaid and had to leave early would they get a refund, and was told YES. So then WHY NOT ME. ||||STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL CHAIN!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. If you like roaches, lies about the facility, and creepy men trying to force their way into your room, then you would...

PLEASE READ THIS AND DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL COSTS! This is coming from a person that typically stays at basic hotels (LaQuinta, Days Inns, Best Western, etc...) The best part of my stay was Veronica (manager) and the walking distance to Target and food. She was pleasant and waived my pet fee because of the room rental issue with my flight cancellation. BUT READ THE NEXT PART!

I was there for an event and admittedly was not focused on the complete quality of the room when I arrived (as I was running errands all night). On initial glance it was old, rundown, scratched up dresser and worn carpet. There was dead bug (not roach) on the carpet. Then I began to notice more things once that night, after a roach ran under the door and ran back into the hallway. I fell asleep and woke up to a roach crawling on the dresser, which was close to my face! I went downstairs and asked to move to a different room. Veronica agreed and said she'd move me when I got back. Came back and for nearly 2 hours there was a sign at the front desk saying they'd be back. Then this B*!@H Rebecca saw me and hid behind the door and didn't come out until I called for her. I started to explain that Veronica arranged me to be moved and this trailer park trashy Fiona from Shrek looking woman, Rebecca cut me off and said' No, I'm not moving you'. I politely asked why and she said 'No, you will only be here one more night'. I asked to speak with Veronica and she said she was not there. I started talking again and she cut me off and aggressively said 'NO, I AM NOT GOING TO MOVE YOU AND HAVE YOUR DIRTY UP ANOTHER ONE'. Then turned around and walked away, while I stood there looking dumb. Called customer service, they couldn't help or issue a refund. So I left for a bit and looked out the back door. Who was there? VERONICA, REBECCA and the EVENING FRONT DESK ATTENDANT (I LATER FOUND THAT OUT). Either Rebecca didn't tell Veronica that I was looking for her, Veronica told her to say that OR Rebecca told both of them and they were having a great laugh at my expense. Not sure the truth, but when I saw Veronica the next morning she was shocked and said she told Rebecca to move me. But it was too late because I was checking out.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS! THIS PLACE IS UNCLEAN AND APPARENTLY A HEALTH HAZARD. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. THERE IS ANOTHRE EXTENDED STAY UP THE BLOCK....BUT DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH BETTER IT...
