0 stars. I came to the store approx. 4:07, was told, "I'll be with you in a minute" by a large black heavy set woman, who was currently making tacos, putting her bare hands in toppings, completed 3-4 orders for the drive through. Finally takes my order at 4:23am. Continue to watch her handle money, then food, then money, then food etc, bare hands, did not wash them at ANY POINT while I was there. Then she continued on to make what ended up being MY FOOD with the same dirty hands, handled the buns, cheese, burger patty (prior to cooking). I was the ONLY CUSTOMER inside until shortly before I got my food. 2 customers walked in, and asked if they were even open inside? i said yes, Ive been here 20+ minutes and just ordered 10 minutes ago. And the short black guy behind the counter started mouthing off that, "Well if its taking to long, you should just ask for a refund" I told him I've been here this long, I'd rather get my food. At which point shes still putting it together with her unwashed, bare hands. Then she walked around the corner with it, to where I couldn't see her, for seemingly no reason. Having no idea what she did to my food, after hearing me complain and glaring at me, I took my food - and dropped it in the trash on my way out, and went next door to Whataburger and ordered food - which I got within 3 or 4 minutes OF WALKING IN TO THE STORE. I had been eating mushroom swiss buttery jacks from this location 2-3 times a week (I drive a local delivery route), and the service during the day was great, fast, friendly and people HAD GLOVES ON. However, last Saturday night, that was not the case. I drove past the store today, (on N May ave) as I always do, hungry, but today I didn't stop, disgusted with what I had seen, I didn't even stop ANYWHERE for lunch..... When I called and discussed this with the manager on duty today, he confirmed he's received MULTIPLE complaints about Saturday night(s) and their night crew. The other 2 average sized girls working, were going about their business, I payed no attention to them, as they weren't taking orders, or handling food. But the attitude from her, and the short black guy who butted into my conversation with the other customer - was extremely rude. I WILL NOT by any means be returning to this store. I WILL share this story on Facebook, that stores Facebook, and anywhere else I can find, along with the PICTURES I TOOK OF HER HANDLING FOOD BARE HANDED. I'm sure you can see for yourself, as there is cameras all over the store. Not to mention the multiple other complaints as stated by the manager I spoke with today, 8-12-15 around 11:46am today. He was very nice, apologetic, and assured it would be fixed - however, I feel scarred, and by no means will ever return to that store, unfortunately. The mushroom & swiss buttery jacks I've had during the DAY have been great - I love the burger and the butter, so you can understand my disappointment with no longer being able to eat at this location.... My name is (Name removed), feel free to contact me at (phone number removed) during the day, I do drive on a delivery route, so I can't answer my phone while driving, but can return your call if you leave a message, promptly. Hope this issue is addressed, and the NIGHT employees receive some training in why handling MONEY THEN FOOD THEN MONEY THEN FOOD etc bare handed, with unwashed hands is BAD. Also, as I said, don't understand why she took my burger, having already been completed, in the still open container, around the corner - out of my view, was necessary. Hence why I threw my entire bag of food away and went next door - to Whataburger, where they wear gloves during food...
Read moreI hail from a land, not terribly far yet not close enough to have experienced a jack in the box prior to living in Oklahoma City. The anticipation was quite high, and I find that the expectations I had due to others being enamored for this place; were largely, and for the most part set much higher than my in personal experience actually landed. With that being said, I am not traditionally the type to swoon over “the perfect burger,” especially one reigning from a fast food establishment, or a dime a dozen franchise. I’m one of the remaining few that believes that fast food restaurants have a section of the market they cater to, and that section of the market does not expect a multi-course meal prepared by an iron chef, awaiting your ever inching vehicle to reach the holiest of holies that is the second window. They feel a gap in the modern persons cuisine acquisition options, as we swear our 24 hour days are ever growing shorter. And they provide a very intentional product and service to a clientele. That shouldn’t hold anything more than the medium to low expectations that these facilities are designed to strive for.
Now that you know, my fast, food philosophy, I can without hesitation, say that any item I have ordered and received, has shined bright with the blinding light that is mediocrity, and since this is a fast food institution, I will rate it as such, and, according to the value, the fast food institution has provided me, and not grade it on a curve against the next up-and-coming, revolutionary, “French American fusion” must-try restaurants of 2022, whatever the hell that is.
So, back to Jack-in-the-Box. What I have sampled has met my expectations. The cost has never came close to breaking the bank, and although the staff at this location tend to be a bit rusty, unprofessional, and easily overwhelmed. I would be lying to say there aren’t times when I crave that four dollar bucket of loaded miniature tacos, and a milkshake.
Also Note: wireless/ nfc/ mobile payments are not accepted after the...

It must be very disappointing to read a LOT of these reviews as a business owner. I can tell you now from somebody who has managed a few places including food ones the problem is your management and staff. Their attitudes. If you don’t wanna be somewhere that serves customers apply elsewhere.
I NEVER got my food, I doubt y’all even cancelled my order liked I asked. I walked to your store to get my son and I a burger at 2:30 AM after placing an order online where I was instructed to go to the counter to pick it up at. The lobby door was unlocked. I walked in and was greeted with “lobby’s closed” I said “Hi, I just have a quick pickup order!” She said, “drive thru” to which I replied “I’m not in a car. It said to come to the register.” And got no reply at all. So I walked out and told them to just cancel my order. Poor customer service can’t be good for profit margins. I would never treat your customers like that if I worked there especially as a member of management. If they’re unhappy you should find out why your employees are unhappy to the point they feel like they can act so nonchalant about things. I don’t ever complain but when I walk somewhere at 2:30 AM and I’m not even greeted but turned around on and instructed from over their shoulder why should any of us spend our money there? I’m not trying to be harsh but reality will and it will reflect in sales and customer satisfaction. I’ve heard some unsettling things there and ignored them but me spending $20 to feel unwelcome and unwanted is unacceptable. Accountability. I don’t care how bad of a day I’m having, or if I am upset with my job. The customer don’t get that energy.
Food? Never got it. Still waiting to see if I got reimbursed.
