This is another very convenient budget friendly stay right off I-40. They also have late night check in. The rooms have been renovated as well. There is alotta things in the close vicinity of the hotel. They do have an odd policy of even though they have your credit card on file to secure the room they also require $40 cash to check in. When you check out they go inspect the room and give you the $40 back. Other than that inconvenience it's a great budget stay. 1st time I stayed there I had to go to an ATM for cash before I could check in. Still recommend for good budget stay.

This hotel has been completely revamped! For the price I was pleasantly surprised and impressed at how clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated this hotel is!! I recently moved back from Florida and this wasn’t the safest motel when I left but I don’t know if it’s new owners or what happened and whatever it is keep it up! Great job! Every time I walk into a room smoking or non it smell so clean!! I will pick this hotel over many from now on the price is perfect and the hotel staff is amazing as well! So nice! Thanks!!

1st room the fridge did not work, it smelled absolutely horrible, hairs and stains on the pillows, sheets, big chunk of the bathtub missing, it was a non-smoking room still smelled like cigarettes -there is a bullet hole in the center of the window glass on the second floor in room 210 -My 2nd room the sheets were covered in massive stains on the white top sheet cover and nasty hairs and blue ink stains all over the bedding, I showed the front desk worker because he had to come back with another key, it did not work the first time, the worker just says “it’s not me it’s the maid🤷‍♂️” so they leave it up to the maids to make sure everything is clean and never check the maids work after she’s done -you could hear the maid constantly coughing while going in and out of rooms “cleaning” -food stains/pasta sauce on the ceiling in the 2nd room -the mirrors have huge streaks all over them -guests playing music loudly in their rooms with the hotel room door wide open for hours on the second floor -the tvs in both rooms I had were extremely pixelated and you cannot fix the picture quality in the tv settings, the tv would just go black multiple times -cigarette and marijuana smoke smell will fill your bathroom and room if you do not close the bathroom door. I was literally jolted awake by the smell of cigarettes covering my room at 3am the first night, I don’t smoke and have a “non-smoking room” and when you walk into the bathroom everyday the cigarette smell smacks you in face. I looked outside thinking it was coming inside from the heater fan but no one was outside and I only smell it in the bathroom. -the towels gave me a rash 5 minutes after using them twice, I washed my hands once and wiped my hands dry, not more than 5 minutes later they had a burning sensation and a red rash that was very itchy came on all the sudden, then it happened again with another towel, I washed my left arm above the hand, I patted it dry with a different towel hoping I would not get the same reaction as before but not more than a few minutes after my left arm was on fire itching and red as a stop light where I used the towel and I do not have skin sensitivity or issues so bring your own towels -the door would not stay properly closed when I would leave the room, and would not properly lock when inside, you had to keep pulling and yanking on the door as hard as you can to get it to close or lock properly -homeless people living in tents in the literal hotel parking lot in the back and they continuously come and walk around the hotel looking inside rooms if the blinds are open, I only noticed this when I was sitting in my car and saw one person walk out of his tent and walk all the way down each room and every one that had the drapes open to let light in he looked inside briefly…makes you feel really safe! -during the winter storm, upstairs walkway was completely covered in ice/snow, they did “sprinkle” some salt but literally a few grain pieces every few feet -guests banging around in their rooms making loud noises for hours at end -lots of guests without transportation going room to room like it’s a dorm knocking loudly and having loud conversations as if not a care for other’s privacy -guests doing drugs on the balcony -guests screaming profanities at the top of their lungs outside at 5:30am on a Saturday morning, called the office and she says “oh yeah she(the guest) can’t find her hat or left her hat in the room???” and then proceeds to say she won’t do anything about it so it continued for another hour, so guest safety and privacy is the last thing on the front desks mind, and they still let the people causing the disturbance stay, I guess anything to scrape a few dollars to keep the place alive instead of refunding and asking them to leave for guests safety and privacy -guest downstairs screaming at 5:30pm Saturday in the afternoon talking about taking someone’s “car keys”. I constantly worried about my car being broken into. Do not stay here if you value your safety/peace I have so much more to say but it will not let me type...

The front desk person (the only person I saw) was very nice and friendly.

The room almost seemed brand new, as if it was just rehabbed with new everything. However, we did notice that the blankets had some stains on them. It seemed like they'd been washed so we didn't worry too much about it. Everything else was super clean.

The room had bare minimum amenities.

The noise at night was insane. It wasn't coming from the hotel itself, but from the street. The hotel is so close to the major street and highway that it was incredibly noisy all night. People would Rev their engines with their extra large exhaust pipes and blaring music. I woke up at least four times at night, and each time was hard to fall back asleep due to all the street noise.

On the bright side, it's really close to the outlet mall.

I'm glad the bathroom has a fan as many uotels dont, but its the same switch as the light, so you have to turn both on each time. The fan is also the loudest fan I've ever heard in a bathroom. The bathroom also doesn't have a lock on it.

The sink is very tall, so a smaller child will have trouble using it.

There was only one small trash can in the room. No trash can in the bathroom unless you bring the one trash can in there.

This is less of an issue and more of an awareness - the front desk requires a $40 cash-only deposit. They don't the the deposit via card. They don't provide a receipt for the deposit. They just take your $40 and you have to assume you'll get it back. I've just never seen this before.

Overall, driving up to the hotel, we were concerned that we'd been scammed ad it seemed like a very iffy place. But the person at the desk was great and the room was much cleaner than expected. I wouldn't stay here again, and would pay the higher price at one of the more established hotels, but for someone traveling on a tight budget, this is a...

Forget this Motel ... Go somewhere else... It calls itself a Hotel, but it is not one at all. I enquired for an accessible room and was decieved to get one, but the clerk at the reception didn't know what that is. I had to explain it to him. Even if the motel is obliged to have at least two, they are not obeying and people with major health issue should not consider this place. Others too ...

I felt totally ripped off after I read that I paid 25 USD more than the room is priced on the Internet. But after 8 hours of driving in bad weather, I just wanted to find a place for the night. Two months ago someone wrote a review and the owner promised to change the lack of towels and hangars in the rooms.

I even went back to the reception and asked for hangars, but the owner refused to give me any. So, one has to pile coats, clothes, underwear etc. on the only chair that is in the room. How much is a metal or plastic hangar???

There are also NO coffee maker or nightstand lights. The ceiling lights are extremely bright and the whole room has the appearance of a factory hall. NOT a cozy, warm place at all!

The room floor and the bathroom were decently clean minus the spider webs in the entrance door corner. The Internet worked well during the time I was there.

I am a travel journalist and have to stay in hotels for dozens and dozens of nights but haven't been for a longtime in such an...
