My family has been members of Weokie Credit Union for at least the past 35 years and we have had good experiences. Over the past 2 years I’ve been using the Weokie app and repeatedly have issues and they do not get fixed. I try to transfer money out of Weokie to Bank of America and the app at times doesn’t allow me to do it, it gives me an error saying I do not have enough money to make the transfer and I clearly do. I had to go to the branch and get the money from a teller and take it to Bank of America. This happens over and over and nobody fixes the problem with the app. I went into Weokie this morning and spoke to the branch manager on the phone while I was there and I saw her in her office and asked if I could simply come in and talk to her, she said I could not because she has a meeting, I told her I had an appointment too at 9:30am but I had to come in because the app would not work. I totally got the impression that what she had to do was important and my time meant nothing to her. She kept interrupting me and saying I am trying to help you but did nothing to help me, she wanted to put me off onto other employees. I wanted her to help me so she could understand what was going on. She said she would call me after her meetings later today. Weokie management needs to put customers first and not make it so difficult to get in touch with a branch manager on the incredibly annoying phone tree that Weokie has for customers to use. It is not the same Weokie it used to be, I’m not happy and I’m confident nobody cares, the branch manager definitely needs to learn how to deal with customers better and figure out what’s going on before acting like I have no reason to be upset. Her actions of seeing me in the building when she called me should have been her coming to get me and giving me a seat and letting me tell her what was going on. Instead it was like NO DO NOT COME IN HERE I HAVE A MEETING! Customers are Weokie’s business and we should come firs! If I need access to my money online I should have it! I had numerous questions that she answered very patiently. She was very knowledgeable, professional and clear spoken, as well as being very pleasant to speak with. I found a vehicle but seemed to run into numerous snags with the private seller. I spoke with Mrs. Russell on numerous occasions, and she was always pleasant and willing to explain things. She kept me updated on the progress throughout. She stuck with me to the very end. Mrs. Garrett was also very knowledgeable and helpful during this whole transaction. She also explained things very well and kept me posted on the progress and necessary items needed. Read moreI'm a new member at weokie and after my card got lost in the mail i was told i could stop by anytime to get my card printed at their main branch or it will go through mail again. Really need my card but I work from 8-4:45 so I can't come during the week days. Went in yesterday only to finally be told that they don't do that on Saturdays by their VERY RUDE receptionist who also told me yes i wasted my time driving all the way there from Edmond. Only reason this is getting two stars is the drive thru teller was nice since i went around to withdrawal over half my account so i could put it into my Chase account that I have been waiting to close once I got everything set up with Weokie.
