We placed our order September 5th but had forgotten to request a military discount so the following day I contacted customer service to ask if it was possible to apply to our order. The guy ended up canceling our order and said there would not be an issue reordering and getting the same delivery date. After a few minutes he seemed lost so I requested a supervisor. After speaking with her, She said the luxury vinyl floors didnât qualify for the discount and was not able to reorder the planks with her. By this point I was freaking out being we had contractors coming to our new home on that delivery date. The supervisor ended up transferring me to the store. Paul and Stephanie were amazing and tried the discount on our purchase, sure enough we did qualify for the discount đ¤Śđťââď¸ and our order would be arriving 3 days later because it was a new order. I received a email showing our order would be at the store Monday so we waited all day and called the 1800 to check status, it said the luxury floors were at the store. When we went to the store the staff Shakira was not too friendly and didnât bother looking further Into our Order. The night supervisor went to the back and said it was there but he wasnât able to give it to us because it had a âsend back to senderâ note but would leave a note on the boxes to not send for the morning manager. The next morning my fiancĂŠ called and spoke To Curtis who by the way is absolutely the best !!!! He told us the night supervisor He told us the night supervisor never put the "do not mail note on the boxes â Curtis however went above and beyond and called another supervisor to see if they could give us our boxes. Not even ten minutes later he called us back and told us we could pick up our 35 boxes. Curtis is a true leader and it shows by how he positive he is to his staff and a great example to the younger men working at the store.
At the end of all my rambling I want to thank CURTIS, Stephanie and Paul for doing their job. They each took the time to handle our problems. Our goal was to have our new home ready for our family that will be coming this weekend.
The reason I'm giving 5 stars is for the great workers like Curtis who was quick to resolve our problems and make sure we left happy. Give that man a raise and promote him soon!! You don't get employees who go above and beyond like him in Florida so please make sure you take care of him. Paul for easily doing what took 2 other people who messed up my order and Stephanie for making sure she requested a supervisor and made sure we got our discount.
I also want to thank Pedro for being our first communication at the store and even went as far as going to the back to check the truck to see if our order was there. Definitely another great person !!! He rocks

   Read moreWhat a absolute disgrace this location is. I had a friend order some vinyl plank flooring and quarter round trim. The first part of the order was said to be in the store and ready for pick. I arrived and was told 1 piece of trim was damaged and I could order a new one. No problem. Then after waiting for over a hour I was told the plank wasnât inâŚ.fine no biggie. Couple days go but we get another notification saying the plank is in. Yay! I go, wait, wait and waitâŚ.finally they FIND the pallet. After it gets loaded I ask where the rest of the order is. I get a confused look by everyone and the one employee is staring at the order. I ask him what it said for The square footage and he didnât know so I did the simple math for him and said âyeah Iâm missing several boxesâ. I ask for a supervisor. One comes and she searched herself, made phone calls and honestly tried finding the boxes but to no avail. She stated I would get a phone call the next day and would be updated. No phone call was received. I waited a few more days, made calls and even went to the storeâŚstill nothing. After a week or so another email comes saying the product is at the store again. I go try to sign it out but guess whatâŚITS NOT THERE. Again I ask for a supervisor and after waiting a full 43 minutes (which I had a timer on my phone going) a different supervisor tries to help me. By this time I have wasted my time, my friends time and lost the window of when the floor was supposed to be installed due to The Home Depotâs lack of communication. I told both supervisors that some sort of compensation should be rendered due to all the headaches (Oh did I mention my friend is a veteran? Thanks for your service Nate!) and both supervisorâs said âoh yes, absolutely. You will be taken care of when I kept going to the store trying to get our planks. The morale isâŚ.this store will lie straight in your face, smile, make you feel like they are going to help but in the long run donât do anything. As a matter of fact the main store manager was on the phone with an employee asking them questions to ask me but refused to talk to me in per. I work in the Public Sector. I deal with citizens throughout a whole county and still deal with each residents issue until it is resolved. It could be in person, email or telephone. Communication is key. Thanks for wasting so much time ORANGE CITY HOME DEPOT. Not that you care but it will be your competitors gain now. I hope people see this review and stay away.    Read moreSo I must admit that I normally always shop at Lowes when it comes to my home improvement items, even though I have a Home Depot within walking distance of my business office. I mainly begin going to Lowe's because my father always preferred Lowe's, so I guessed by force of habit now as am adult, it's my store of choice. Well today, on my way home from the office, my wife calledđsaying we needed a couple items for her latest project.... Well anyhow being that I was right in front of this lovely well known established business, I figured I would give them a try... I mean it's just a couple items right..... Wrong!! So I went in after a 13 hr shift, now keep in mind I only needed 2 items.... Of course I don't know the store set up as I would Lowe's, so I'm back and forth down the aisle looking lost like a tourist... Inside I'm screaming someone anyone ask me if I need help finding something... Nope, store associates just past by, not a care in the world... No good evening sir... Nothing... So finally I was like I'm not doing this... I'm spending my money here... They should be helping me, so I go over to 2 associates who were casually talking and I asked do you know where I can find this item? One associate looked at me dumb founded, not saying he was dumb but definitely lost... And then the other associate points to the other end of the store and says I think it should be on aisle 13 or 14đĄ...okok...so i go down to that aisle and nope not there.... So I'm not too mad at this point, I'm trying my best to give them the benefit of the doubt, I mean I run a successful business too so I understand in just about every business you probably going to have someone who's not 100% dedicated so I get it.... So I was thinking let me ask a different employee so I searched and found a totally different employee and purposely a different age group and as soon as I asked, her hand went up and pointed in a totally different direction and said I believe it's on aisle 15....now inside I'm boiling... Listen if you don't know where the item is, and you have to think it is and guess where you think it is, how do you expect me, a consumer who never been to your store to find It. ...
