A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Palm Springs

I’ve visited Palm Springs at least ten times and somehow, this was my first time staying at El Mirasol Villas — I only wish I had discovered it sooner. It’s truly a tucked-away gem nestled right in the middle of the city’s buzz, yet it feels peaceful, private, and completely relaxing.

From the moment I arrived, the managers and staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Calling you by first name. And really getting to know you!! You can truly tell that the owners care deeply about this place and their guests — it feels like they’re extending their home to you, and that warmth shows in every detail.

The property is gorgeous: two pools, a hot tub, and a steam room that’s actually operational (which is not always the case elsewhere…. “One place has had a steam room coming since my first visit in 2021… and still no steam room… #GoElMirasol ). There’s plenty of space to lounge, whether you’re in the water or just soaking up the sun. The lush greenery throughout the property creates a tropical oasis vibe, and from almost every spot, you can catch a view of the stunning San Jacinto Mountains.

The rooms are clean and cozy, with super comfy beds, and depending on your booking, you might get your own private deck or a shared terrace. Either way, there’s no shortage of spots to relax and unwind.

I’ve stayed at nearly all the clothing-optional, all-male resorts in town, and El Mirasol is now at the top of my list. It’s the kind of place you immediately want to return to — and I can’t wait...

This resort is a great place to choose for your time in Palm Springs. This was our first visit and we will definitely go back. There are multiple resorts in this area on Warm Sands Drive that cater to many different interests. If you like a lush, smaller and relaxing place, El Mirasol should be your choice.||The property owners (Paul and Bruce) and staff (Tim) are friendly and accommodative. The pools are lovely and the views of the mountains are spectacular. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We had a private patio. There are about 15 rooms total.||There is tea/coffee available for breakfast plus a limited fruit/sweet selection. We went out for breakfast since I like a bigger offering and love my eggs! If I could change one thing about El Mirasol, it would be to upgrade the breakfast choices... hard boiled eggs, cereal, bagels, etc.||Our week in Palm Springs at El Mirasol was very pleasurable. We did some shopping at the Outlets in Cabazon, went to the Zoo and Joshua Tree National Park, rode the Tramway and did other sight seeing around town. And of course doing happy hour at the bars on Arenas!||The owners also recommended a few massage therapists for a massage - a must when on vacation! I was able to schedule one with Scott and he was very, very good. He came to the hotel and was very professional and focused on the areas u have been having issues with.||All in all, I can't imagine a better place to stay for a relaxing, peaceful and rejuvenating stay in Palm Springs. Our Palm Springs Desert paradise!!!

This was our second stay at El Mirasol Villas, this time for 2 weeks. We have to say this was such an enjoyable, comfortable, relaxing, and fun vacation. The ambiance of the resort, from the landscaped pathways, ideal spacious layout of resort buildings, glorious Palm trees and citrus trees, and the pools! The owners, Paul and Bruce are so welcoming, friendly, and accommodating to assure you thoroughly enjoy your stay there! Success! Other staff, Eric and Tim, always friendly and quick to attend to your needs and requests. Thanks to all of you for enhancing our wonderful stay there. They take time to greet you and chat a little, making you just feel glad to be there. The rooms are always very clean and well appointed. Your room patio allows you to enjoy being outside in that desert air and those incredible mountain views! Perhaps, a cup of coffee out there or a few cocktails. The magnificent view of those Majestic San Jacinto mountains...ahhh, love it! The pools are always so very clean and comfortable refreshing temperatures. The grounds have so many lovely plants and desert flowers to soften the desert look. (Attracting Hummingbirds and other beautiful birds) The tranquil and peaceful sound of those fountains! As you can probably tell, we so enjoyed our stay at El Mirasol Villas! Thankful we have chosen to stay here. While there, we booked 1-week next February 2022 and 2 weeks in August 2022! We so love it there!
