My boyfriend and I stayed here from July 5th to July 8th, 2021. I always take initiative and look at Google's Street View to visually see where & how I'll be driving for anywhere I travel; I had a question about parking as well as how to enter the grounds, to which Charles swiftly responded in an Email reply ahead of our visit. He answered all questions I had and was EXTREMELY professional and detailed with all of the information he gave me.
Upon arriving, he greeted us at the door (all staff at this location are required to be clothed), and promptly checked us in and gave us a tour around the property. They had a small fish pond with a live turtle, complimentary water & soda in an outdoor fridge, a massage table with privacy drapes (I brought massage oil with me, so we decided to use it once), a 2-person hammock, an area where you can grill if you so choose, and of course an 8-ft (deep) swimming pool and hot tub. I believe there was either a spa or sauna, but it was closed at the time due to the pandemic. Being Palm Springs in the Summer, it does get up to the 110s, in fact I believe it was up to 116F at one point during our stay... but they have water misters on which are a GODSEND, and I wish more resorts had these.
While being nude, both staff and visitors were very friendly, welcoming and respectful of everyone. The property was always very clean. I mean, I don't know what else to say, because anything else you can think to ask me--it was all perfect! Breakfast was also perfect; you walk up to the podium, put checkmarks by the food you'd like, put it in the bowl and they bring your complimentary breakfast right to your room! AND IT'S FAST! They also have gluten-free options.
One thing I really appreciated as well was that staff provide pool noodles you can use to float on, as well as floats you can LAY on, which I frequently used to sunbathe. Most other resorts I've been to don't provide things like that.
We are staying here again next month, and I can't stress how much I'm eager to return. It's so incredibly relaxing! If you have EVER wanted to try a nude resort, CHOOSE THIS ONE! It's small (only 12 rooms), very quiet and it's THE MOST professional, friendly service I've ever gotten at any resort in my entire life. Just keep in mind that it IS a resort catered...
Read moreAs long-time visitors of Palm Springs with a "favorite resort" we would always stay at, we were a bit apprehensive when our friends booked a room at an unfamiliar establishment and suggested we stay there, as well.
Apprehension gave way to blessed relief once we finally arrived at the Desert Paradise Resort Hotel. Even if the staff hadn't been incredibly friendly and helpful (which they were!), or the price just right (which it was!), the grounds themselves would been more than enough to rate the Desert Paradise highly.
The twelve-or-so rooms face the pool and hot tub area, with ample lounge chairs and covered seating areas to fit any guest's tastes. As someone who enjoys the sun but burns easily, I loved how there was always a way to escape its rays and rest in the shade. Other resorts seem to have very few havens from the sun, so this was VERY appreciated.
But don't worry! If sun is your thing, you'll never be far from it at any time, as my husband (who worships the heat) was able to stay in full sunlight the entire day if he chose! Really the best of both worlds!
Short footpaths from the main area connect to a covered massage table and outdoor shower (with hot water, thank god!) on one side, and a smoking/grilling area on the other. Fountains, lush greenery, and palms break up the area, giving the feeling that you're tucked away in a cozy little personal oasis no matter where you are in the resort.
Because of its dozen rooms, the resort feels intimate, allowing you to really get to know the guests you're staying with. A Friday night social hour helps break the ice, and before our stay was over, we felt we'd already made some wonderful new friends we couldn't wait to see again.
Personal highlights for me were showering beneath the stars after a moonlit swim, and swinging to-and-fro in the large hammock on a warm night as I stared at the up-lit palm trees.
If you're looking for a small, affordable, and wonderful place to stay in Palm Springs, look no further than the Desert Paradise Resort Hotel. It's the most relaxed I've been on...

This quaint and quiet sanctuary was perfectly peaceful and relaxing with just the right touch of fun. The resort is not a ‘day pass n party’ type of place - it is geared towards couples and singles alike that are looking for a bit quieter stay. But don’t worry, there is plenty to offer! All-worlds and their famous maze and parties are right across the street and ccbc is just a short Uber ride away! The Chillbar, Hunters and Blackbook amongst other bars and restaurants are a quick 10 min walk away as well - we loved being near so much fun!
Rooms are nicely equipped featuring CalKing mattresses and crisp clean linens with thick and fluffy king size pillows. Flat screen TVs with roku for streaming, plenty of towels, microwave, keurig coffee bar, and fridge wrap up the amenities list. Some rooms are available with separate bedrooms/living spaces and Murphy beds for those traveling with larger groups. These larger units also feature private terraces. Rooms included complimentary wifi and welcome snacks.
The property itself is completely private, and has a great saline heated swimming pool and intimate hot tub. A large fire pit is surrounded By New and comfy lounge chairs - perfect for getting rid of the tan lines. Complimentary beverages (soda & water) are available all day as well as a complimentary Continental breakfast served in your room or poolside.
For getting to know your neighbors, the property hosts a social hour on Friday and Saturday evening which was a great way to kick off our stay. A BBQ, small sauna and steam room, outdoor heated shower and outdoor private massage table are all available for use and in clean perfect condition. The grounds also feature several relaxing water features and ambiance music to block out any outside noise - truly relaxing.
We’d be remiss not to talk about the staff. Everyone was amazing! David and Jeff and team provided personal service and were extremely friendly and charming throughout our stay.
This is our new go-to place -...
