Cook's Motel — Hotel in Panama City Beach

When I got there I asked about the room and when we looked at the room I was welcomed by the stink when he opened the door. I walked into the room and the carpet was pure black with dirt and filthy. The beds were terrible, just like they were made up after the people got out. The sofa was broken and the cushions were flat, I had requested a rollaway bed and told to request one upon arrival and the hateful manager advised that he didn't have no rollaway beds, but they could sleep on the broken down sofa, I wouldn't want my dog to sleep on the sofa. When I told him no, I wasn't staying here and he advised that I could cancel if I didn't want it so I did and he got pure ugly with me. People like this do not need to be in business, they are not friendly and helpful and very poor attitude towards the public, the health department needs to shut them down until they remodel or bulldoze it down and build a new one. Please, for your safety and your money go somewhere else other than this dump. I hate to know that these people are only interested in one thing and that is your money, they are not concerned about you, your family and your family health or wellbeing. I will definitely go on down the road and spend a little extra to get a lot more. I give this dump...

this definitly was the worst facilitly I ever stayed in. It's a shame that this motel still exists and could be rated as in my opinion this needs to be closed down as soon as possible. I refrain from explaining any further details here. There is absolutly nothing in this motel that deserves even zero points. Beside this criminal activities take place in this motel as we unfortunately seen with our own eyes. The manager is constantly on drugs and doesn't care for anything but for earning money and his own benefit. Although this place is really dangerous there is absolutly zero security. Locks are not working or are just missing. The only reaction from the manager when asking about anything is an extremly rude one. If you complain about something you get threatend and insulted. The amount which was booked from the credit card was about twice as high as the confirmed amount from the agency and it caused huge trouble to get the money back which was illegally charged from the credit card. As far as we heard the hotel has not even a legal license what makes sense as it has not the slightest security features as locks or somebody looking for the facility at all. This was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed . There are residents that live there and they are mostly drug addicts and prostitutes. We got to listen to our neighbor service her johns all night. Our room was vile . There were pubes in the tub and on the toilet seat. There were pubes and more in the first bed . Open beer in the fridge and clothes under the covers. We moved rooms to the “ nicer family room” that’s laughable. Two beds again , separated by a wall . Bugs and roaches everywhere. Cigarette burns all of the comforters, chairs were burned badly , curtains coming off the rods, very old, smelled of cigarettes and old food. Bed was very squishy which for most is nice but I have a bad back and it was not good for me. Pool was not open and gross . Owners are in the office they are incredibly rude and act put out your there( maybe it was a bad day ?) I’ll let that slide. But the man who came out of his room cussing out his probabtion officer right before his arrest was fun. I don’t think it’s a place for visitors.
