I've been dining here for years and while I was glad to see that it survived past covid, all the times I've gone since have resulted in at least one incident where I felt my table was forgotten about. Most recently, while we were seated right away, it took about 10 minutes to get water and then another 15 to collect our order. My coffee was brought immediately but then it was maybe another 30 minutes till our food (a friend chicken and fried fish sandwich) arrived. They apologized for the wait multiple times and comped my coffee. I guess we could have been more assertive in flagging staff down to get our order in. It feels like they want every table full even if they don't have the staff to adequately cover the timing of the orders. We would have been happy to wait 10 minutes if it meant not waiting so long to have our order collected once seated. This was our first time eating from the lunch menu and while it was good, we're definitely going to stick to the breakfast/brunch times because that's where Hudson Point really excells.

Want a quiet place for breakfast with good food? Try Hudson's Point. It is located in marina area northside of PT. Located in a cluster of non-descript buildings. Once inside it's busy, quaint and friendly. It can get busy. It has a cool vibe and can get really busy.... sign of a good place. Having lived in AZ for many years, I wanted AZMex bfast and opted for the enchilada scramble. Yes, the server said real green chilies! I always ask b/c many PNW places/peeps mistake jalapenos as green chilis. This place gets it so I asked to sub more chillies for green pepper. Add a dash of green hot sauce and wow. Tried something different a cornbread muffin... made inhouse. Try the omelettes too they are excellent.... pick your choice. So, if you are looking for a change of ambience, etc from Blue Moose try them. BTW.I do love Blue Moose. Parking is easy and there's a fair amount of it. Highly recommend them.

We waited almost an hour for our food before being told the "kitchen lost your ticket". Nope, I don't think so. I think we were clearly being discriminated against. Several people at our table identify as queer and it seems this cafe has an issue with that. Yup. During our prolonged wait, the waiter avoided us whilst serving others as they came in. The waiter did not check in with us or ask if we'd like a beverage refill. We tried numerous times to even make eye contact, to no avail. I think the hope was we'd just get up and leave ( and, we were quite tempted) . Food eventually came out after our "lost ticket" was miraculously found. Food was decent, but the whole experience made us lose our appetites. The whipped cream "cross" on the waffle was a nice touch. Got your message. God bless.

Hudson Point Cafe serves only breakfast and lunch. On weekends they are open 8AM to 2PM and serve brunch only, so only breakfast food. On weekdays they are open 8AM to 3PM with separate times for breakfast and lunch. All other times we had breakfast here, so this was our first lunch. My wife had the Flame Broiled Coho Salmon and found it very good. I went with one of their specials, the Ultimate Cheeseburger, which had a bit of everything including avocado and also found it very good. The service was solid. We both enjoyed our meals but felt their breakfast choices were better, or maybe we just think of it as a breakfast place. Anyway, we will be back.

The waitress was very apologetic for the cook’s behavior. They refused us service when the waitress told the cook that someone in our party had celiac disease, even though we assured them he does not have a reaction to light cross contamination with wheat. We could hear the cook loudly ranting about it from the very front of the restaurant. We were asked to leave for no other reason. We were staying in town, and didn’t have a car. We had to walk a significant distance to get there. We then had to walk further to the next available restaurant. So disgusted! At least they didn’t make me pay for my tea.

Our cousin emphatically recommended this spot for our trip and it did not disappoint. There was a little bit of a wait to sit down on a late Sunday morning, but not too bad. We got the best seat in the house facing the marina. The service was absolutely astounding, especially given how busy it was. The server (Sarah) and the busers were super friendly and helpful, and we had a lot of special requests (keto, dairy-free). Our food was delicious; we had the white cheddar and ham scramble and the Greek omlette. If you're comfortable with a little wait and smaller tables, this place is extremely good.
