During our recent stay, my partner and I had the privilege of experiencing the awe-inspiring beauty of both sunrise and sunset at the captivating The Suites. From start to finish, this hotel provided us with an absolutely amazing stay, leaving us forever enchanted by the mesmerizing views of the sun painting the sky with its vibrant hues.

One of the most memorable aspects of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking sunrise offered by the hotel's prime location. Nestled along the coast, The Suites boasts a privileged position, allowing guests to witness nature's spectacle from the comfort of their own room. The moment we drew back the curtains and welcomed the first rays of the morning sun, we were overwhelmed with a sense of tranquility and gratitude. The horizon, adorned with shades of pink, orange, and gold, together with the gentle sound of crashing waves, created a blissful ambiance that set the tone for the perfect day ahead.

Equally astonishing were the hotel's sunset views, which were nothing short of magical. As the day drew to a close, we found ourselves at the hotel's rooftop terrace, overlooking a panorama that seemed straight out of a fairytale. Basking in the warm glow of the setting sun, we witnessed the sky transforming into a canvas of purples, blues, and fiery reds. After almost 2 years living in the area, and being recommended at many occasions to check it out I finally made it over to Fishermans Village this holiday season and hung around, grabbed some food and walked around with some family from out of town. What an absolutely quaint and wonderful little place tucked away in Punta Gorda! The atmosphere is a lot of fun, and for such a small space they did wonderful with fun decorations for Christmas, giving people multiple different places throughout the property to take pictures with different decorative backdrops! Can’t wait to go back and check it out more…

I will say I had a chance to check out one of this week as I had family members staying there and it was absolutely gorgeous, clean, spacious like a little mini two bedroom apartment and absolutely well priced and comparable to other options that do not offer near the same quality and things to enjoy within walking distance! Also one more note the kids were able to run around safely in the little area. They have around the outside tables and there was not a feeling Of nervousness or having to constantly keep your eyes right on them because the space is set up so well now, obviously, which is in for children under a certain age that should always have an adult watching them lol but our 13 year-old were able to run around and check out the lay of the land, and hang out down by the dock and less and less places like that for them these days it really is a little treasure for the whole family! Whether you live in Punta Gorda or you’re coming in from out of town, fisherman’s village is a must to check out and spend some time! Did I mention they have a whole bunch of cute little shops too!? I haven’t even gotten to...

This is a nice place to walk and shop with your date. They keep it up with maintenence and clean. There's a nice quiet spot to put your feet in the sand and watch the sunset (and boats). I've never been upstairs to the apartments or hotel or condos, but they seem to always be filled/occupied and not noisy. However, they do need a variety of restaurants. One closed (and unit is being remodeled currently) and we ate at the Brew House (or something like that) and was disappointed in the organization of servers. After setting with menus for close to 15 minutes, I reached out and asked a passing server if we could get someone to assist us. She was happy to and did a great job! Just wish she and others were attentive to the patrons around them to notice forgotten clients, on their own. We order the conch fritters as an appetizer. Big mistake at this time with the cook, who must not know what they are. The fritters were "flat and burnt" in too hot of oil. Horrible waste of a limited resource of a delicacy, and they wanted $16 for this! I noticed others that ordered the same, looked the same... So, it wasn't a single goof. Other than this, great atmosphere and our server had a great attitude. I do highly recommend a visit to the Fisherman's Village plaza on the water! Give yourself plenty of time to shop and buy from the local shops, then put your toes in the sand!! They also have dolphin tours, sunset and dinner cruises, AND fishing charters! Please...
