Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Ridgecrest

I finally made it to Dutch Bros Coffee!! Living in Los Angeles, Ca, there are ZERO close by. Most in CA are up north, boooo. While in Ridgecrest, CA, I accidentally stumbled upon Dutch Bros Coffee and was super excited to try it finally. I immediately made a u-turn and made my way into the drive-thru. Their drive-thru entrance gave me Disneyland vibes. They had like 2 or 3 Drive-thru entrance lanes. The time we went, it wasn't crowded, but maybe they have their moments where it is.

I went ahead and ordered one of their most popular drinks, Dutch Classic Caramelizer. Man, O, Man! It was so delicious; I swear I finished it on just a few sips, haha. It was excellent and different from other coffees I have had. I'm sad that there isn't one closer to me!

The staff was friendly and they all had great attitudes and seemed happy, which made me happy and makes me want to come back. The drive thru and the whole area seemed clean and well maintained. I like coffee, and I can tell when a coffee is good. I grabbed a hot coffee from this location because I wanted the low calorie option and still help out a different chain. Sadly, the coffee tasted like water. It made me think whether the coffee gets tested first. I had to throw out more than half the cup of coffee because I just couldn't drink it. I have tried the cold coffee options in this location before and those seem fine because again a ton of stuff is added and it camouflages the actual flavor of the coffee. I think the coffee needs improvement fundamentally. I would be happy to grab another cup when the coffee itself taste better. Otherwise, service is on...

We love Dutch Bros, but we did not have a good experience at this one. We had to wait awhile for a worker to even come out and start taking orders from the drive thru line. And then they didn’t go in order so a few cars who got there after us ended up ahead of us. The wait was the longest we’ve ever waited at a Dutch Bros. When we finally got to the window, they tried giving us the wrong items. We told them what we had ordered and they had already cleared the order without making it, so we had to wait some more for them to make our orders at the window. Not great. I dunno if we caught them on a bad day, but things were not being run well when we were there....
