Rockaway Beach RV Park — Hotel in Rockaway Beach

To Whom it may concern:

I am writing to let you know how much I love living here and being a part of the community. I moved here August 3, 2017 having lived previously in my RV at the Grand Ronde RV park for 4 +/- years. In the last year, I've come to like the various tenants and manager. Everyone has been very welcoming and open since my arrival.

This community has enabled me to come "out of my shell" in regards to my anxiety. I'm very content and have a sense of safety knowing the people in this park look out for one another. Since moving here I've made many friends and have even started volunteering outside of my RV. That alone has my family cheering for me.

I find that the management has been very helpful when I've needed assistance or had questions. It's nice for me to see that management cares about our RV community as a whole. They've handled problem RV tenants quickly and efficiently without too much upset to all around.

In the end, I just wanted to be sure that everyone who manages, supports and owns this RV park, that I've very happy and grateful to be living here. I plan to stay as long as you'll have me for the...

Rockaway is a great location to go to when avoiding the traffic you'd find in Seaside or Cannon Beach. This Memorial Day weekend we were able to reserve an open space and drive there and back with no traffic to speak of since most from PDX hit Seaside and Cannon Beach instead via HWY 26 vs. driving out to Tillamook intead. That said this park is simply an all gravel place to park with 30A power, water, and sewer hookups. Not well maintained and, as others have pointed out on other review sites, many of the rigs parked here will never move again unless towed. It's quiet, but is one step above a remote parking lot. It is within a couple of blocks of both the beach and downtown Rockaway. With a little labor on upkeep and maintenance and some small amounts of $ put into the non full-time stalls it could easily have gotten a better rating.||||One thing to note: The office is the manager's home -- please don't simply open the office door like I did. Crazy, this owner calls everyone a liar, yet there are many reviews stating the same opinions. Dude clean up this crap shoot of a park and listen to what people are saying. The only liar here is the fraud and theif you have working for you. Shame on you, you steal from your guests By not giving a refund when guests leave early. Nothing a lawyer can't handle. Slander and breaking and entering well that speaks for itself. Just because you are 2 blocks from the beach does not make your park great. It's filthy and repulsive to anyone with any class.
