I wish there was a way to leave negative stars! This restaurant is extremely dishonest. My 13-year-old daughter, her 2 friends, my husband and myself were sitting inside initially, but the girls changed their minds about 5 minutes of being seated (so we had not had any service yet, including water). The girls all brought their black fanny packs (with money and credit cards). One of my daughter's friends left her fanny pack hanging on the side of the chair (which we sat in the very back with NO other customers nearby).
Once we got to the outside table, we sat down, and maybe 2 minutes later, my daughter's friend said she left her fanny pack on her chair (which had several hundreds of dollars, 2 credit cards, and her Airpods in it).
My husband went back to retrieve it, only to find it was no longer there, and a new party was sitting there. He asked if they could please check, which they were all very kind and stood up to look around for it. They were a group of older individuals with their grandson, so we didn't really think they had it in their possession.
We asked 2 waiters (1, who was our's) if they had seen it and asked for them to please look around (which they assured us they would do). They never got back to us, so I asked another person where they keep lost and found, and they said by the front (so I checked the coat rack, and all areas around there, as well as both restrooms, outside the building perimeter, other tables-and even asked those nice people at the old table if they would check 1 more time.
I then went into the restaurant entrance to ask our waiter if they had cameras, which he said they did, but I would need to speak to his boss in the front office.
I told her the situation. She then stated they do not have cameras "outside". I again told her that I need to see the "INSIDE" cameras to view who bussed our table when we got up to ho outside.
She then stated that she can assure me that no one at her restaurant would have taken the bag. She stated lost and found is where found items go (which I explained I checked there).
Once she stated that no one at her establishment would have taken it, I then replied by saying, "Well great, then checking the footage should not be an issue".
She then told me she does not know how to work her cameras (which is strange, because they were all fully loaded with each screen available). She said she doesn't know how to rewind the footage. I offered to help, and she decided to change her story to being too busy because she was doing payroll.
At this point, I was getting beuond pissed. I told her there were a number of valuable items in that bag, and I was about to call the police to "help her get the footage off the camer" since her husband was not there, and she "didn't know how to do it".
Once our waiter heard all of this, he told me to hold on, went to the kitchen, and LONE BEHOLD, it was a Christmas miracle! Guess what he walked out with that he all-of-a-sudden magically found???!! THE BAG!
On top off all this, my daughter's 2 friends never received their meals (both got bowls of cl chowder), and my husband never got his 1 oyster shooter.
I was done with my meal, my husband finished his fish tacos, and my daughter finished her chicken fettuccine. Our waiter never came to check on us, so I had to hail him down to tell him the girls never received their dinners, nor did my husband get the oyster. He said, "ok, let me go get that". UNBELIEVABLE
The "boss" told us to go to the front after we were done. My daughter's friend with the bag was in tears and couldn't eat (but was starving). They had to go out to the front so she wasn't embarrassed with people seeing her upset.
THEN the owner had the audacity to not only charge us FULL price, BUT also added a $30.00 tip to our bill!
This is truly the worst establishment I've been to on my 46 years on this planet. This review will be posted to multiple locations.
I am just beyond belief with the entirety of the experience we all...
Read moreWe had a very unsatisfying experience at this restaurant. We had a large group of people and chose to all sit together at one table. The first thing the waitress, yes, the waitress.. should tell you is that it is an automatic 20% gratuity on your check for groups of 5 or more, secondly she should tell you that you cannot split the check at all between the couples at the table, thirdly she wouldnt accept multiple card payments, it had to all be on one bank card. We had to pool together all of our cash to cash out the $230+ check for our group. She did not deserve the 20% gratuity I'll say that right now. The food was mediocre and way overpriced. The bloody Mary's had very little to no liquor in them, overpriced and made in a very small glass. Terrible. The waitress hardly ever came back to check on our table, and we paid way too much for our food. We could have ate somewhere fantastic for what we paid for this crap. The waitress was snuty about the check and the criticism, bad review for the server. My boyfriend and I split a fish and chips and had 1 bloody Mary and the check cost us over 50.00 for our portion. Gratuity is meant to praise a server and staff for amazing service. Not a given.. and we tip very well by the way. I will never go back to this crappy place again. None of us will. The empty restaurant when we walked in should have been our first red flag! The only nice thing was the view, and it was raining lol. This is a big NO from our entire group. Go somewhere else for the money and better service. No, you do NOT disclose no splitting of checks so spare me the added review on my review. putting it on the menu is not a good policy, neither is not splitting checks. Its obviously lost you tons of business and I hope it looses you lots more. I have been in the service industry and a server since I was 18 years old. Never in my life! Your SERVERS should disclose this at the time of seating. You have a terrible policy and terrible service. The customer comes first, the customer is always right. Spare me the...

We went on Sunday afternoon and were the only table on the patio. We placed our drink orders, and didn’t receive the drinks for almost an hour. I had to walk inside and ask what was going on. Eventually our waitress, Angela, came out and apologized for the delay saying:” an issue happened and I had to address it.” Still no drinks. 15 minutes later when the drinks arrived and we asked if the kitchen was having problems, she said that Espresso coffee take a long time, and she had to fix the machine. When the food finally arrived, one of our party who’d ordered a cheeseburger with bacon added, commented that there was no bacon on the burger. Amanda said “It was just finished and she’d bring it right out. She returned with one straggly piece of bacon for a surcharge of $3.00. When we said the charge for the bacon and the late delivery of it was ridiculous, Angela asked if we knew anything about food service, and then said:” I have other customers to attend to so I’m leaving.”
The clam chowder was good...better than average. The fish and chips were better than average, and the Calamari burger was average.
When Angela came to the table to collect for the meal, she read us the total from her tablet, but only when asked if we could see the charges did she offer to go inside and print off a copy for us to look at. After all that my husband decided to only tip her 10% due to her poor service and argumentative attitude. She again argued with him, so he gave her no tip. We NEVER do that, and usually tip 25%.
Other diners had a different server, and were served promptly, in and out before we even had our food. We had eaten there two weeks before and had great service, so I’m thinking perhaps Angela was (a) a new hire, and (b) inexperienced and untrained in table service.
Give this place a chance, but watch...
