HANDS DOWN THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT!!!! I'm not just saying that either because I have never been the type of person to get on here and write a bad review and have people lose their jobs. But the whole place should be shut down. Don't be fooled by the pretty pictures of the pool and the outside or the lobby. I am currently still here for 3 more days and if I could get money back and go somewhere else I would. Not only is it a hotel that is completed outdated and has wall paper and paint peeling off the ceilings and wall but then the have the audacity to charge you $18 dollars a night to park your vehicle in their parking lot even though you already overpayed. They will take a $250 dollar deposit and then take parking out of it. The carpet is dirty, the room smells, the bathroom is barely big enough to get a small shower and toilet in it. The door doesn't shut in the bathroom, nor is there a fan or and light in the room other then a couple lamps. Times have changed and for the price they are charging you would think there was at least a smart TV in the room, no there is a 30 inch cable tv. You can't watch anything other then what's on it. I should have just stay at the motel 6 down the road. The staff doesn't say anything and even put waiter at the restaurant seemed to just want to get his day done And get out. I tried to get a water at the vending machines and all of them have quarters stuck in it and all but 1 said that there was a network connection problem so I couldn't use a card. I'm am trying to save you from making the worst decision. DO NOT COME HERE. Plenty of other beautiful hotels all around us stay there. I'll be writing another review and posting all the nasty pictures I can of this place because I am extremely upset about the scam they are pulling. IT DESERVES A ZERO AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

I would be Giving them no stars but it wouldn’t let me post without one. Worst hotel I stayed at in my whole life . I come to San Diego all the time and book rooms . We booked a garden premier king room on the floor because I am handicap and they end up putting us by the pool and jacuzzi where we have listened to screaming kids and drunk people for hours. We booked this hotel for business and to be able to have a comfy bed and be able to get good we booked a extra day just to sleep .We have a very hectic schedule and also just drove 6 hours to get here and are very tired . I tell the guest service and she is very rude and Doesn’t try to accommodate us at all about the issues and keeps making excuses why she can’t after we spent over 500$ on this room. She talks to her supervisor and then says they can move me to same type of room I purchased and requested ground floor due to my handicap . So she has security drive me over there in the golf cart he drove so fast I thought I was going to fly off of the cart that was very unsafe and i could have got hurt. We get to building that is almost empty and the guy gets to take me to a upstairs room and keep in mind no elevators at this hotel and I have a knee issue and they know I’m handicap and this what they try to give me after I was told they could move me to same room . I don’t even look at room cause I can’t do them stairs and the security drives me all the way back all mad and even faster I’m very upset .They tell me they have no rooms and I can wait till tomorrow at 3 to see if somebody checks out really WTH. So they want us to spend a whole half of another day listening to screaming and drunk people outside our room when we need to rest and played for this to sleep .Seriously unbelievable u can’t give us a room when half this hotel is empty especially the building they took me to , so u mean to tell me on a Thursday u don’t have 1 room avail in a half empty hotel ? The only building full is the one by the pool outside our room . So the supervisor just made every excuse also and says well it will be quiet time soon so you should be fine and basically to bad I spent all that money for a good sleep and to handle business when there whole phone waiting message says how they accommodate business needs. They don’t care about customers and do absolutely nothing about it to remedy a situation and tell u to bad u spent your money as they are also rude about it and condescending . I don’t care when there quiet time is we need our whole stay to be quiet time we are here for very important business. Not only that they price matched me on what I was going to pay completely out the door was supposed to be the same and when I got here they charged me a fee for parking each day and a deposit for each day after I was told it was all included in the price and I wouldn’t have to pay more money then what I was going to pay on booking . They lie to get you to stay here and steal your money and basically laugh at you and tell u oh well when you have an issue. This hotel should be ashamed of yourself to be working in hospitality and treating me this way and ripping me off. I been staying in hotels for 25 years and never had an experience this bad. Shame on this hotel owner for allowing management and employees to treat customers this way !!! And they don’t care or accommodate handicap they basically laughed at me when I said that ! They should not be allowed to get away with this. Update - next day talked to manager and the manager finally changed us to a quiet room we didn’t get in till 4 pm though it was on other side of hotel and it was quiet over there they should have gave us that to begin with . So that whole extra day we booked it to sleep we didn’t to sleep even the noises started very early outside our room and the people across our room had a whole party in there and there door wide open hotel didn’t care and didn’t stop them . They honestly owe us a refund cause we didn’t get the whole day of rest we needed and the whole reason we...

Giving 4 stars overall because it was a tad better than mediocre. We are from Az so it seemed the people at the front desk were very "California" no smiles, a little attitude, etc (except the lady that was working Monday morning when we went to check out she was very kind) The guests staying next door we could easily hear at normal speaking level, walls are THIN. We heard EVERYTHING if you catch my drift. Restaurant and bar staff were very kind and polite, but did end up getting small things with our orders wrong, received chicken on a salad when we didn't ask for it, got marinara instead of ranch, didn't receive avocado on a sandwich, no big deal overall, service was still good, food was very good for the price. Breakfast is the most expensive meal, so I recommend going out for breakfast getting lunch or dinner at the hotel for the price. Rooms are exactly like the pics, but darker. Bathroom is very small, but exactly like the pictures, so no surprise. Window opened a tad, which was nice. It was cold during our stay so we left them open and turned off ac which was perfect. Everything in the room felt clean, bathtub included, took a few baths. No comforter on bed, your own blanket and pillow if you can. Only 2 pillows on each bed and 2 sheets with a very like blanket in between. The high was 48° so we were FREEZING at night. Luckily we drove so we brought our own, but the people in our group who flew ended up purchasing comforters at Target. NO ELEVATOR! Request first floor if older or with kids. LOTS of parking, you are able to park by your room which was nice to be able to keep an eye on our vehicle. $60 for parking for 3 days, I thought was excessive, but it is California, everything is more expensive lol Beds were very firm which we loved. Lobby and rooms smelled a little old but not smoky like some reviews were saying. Desk and chair are nice and comfortable for working. Good amount of closet space, with an extra place on the wall to hang clothes or towels, which we liked. If more than one woman is getting ready in the room make sure to bring an EXTENSION CORD. The outlet nearest the mirror on the closet doors is too far for hot tools etc and there is no way 2 people can get ready in the bathroom at the same time. Small refrigerator is basic but nice. NO MICROWAVE. We brought an electric kettle which was a lifesaver for tea and coffee, but we couldn't heat up any leftovers without going all the way to the lobby so I felt like food went to waste. Location was great, everything is like a 10 minute drive and there are a few restaurants nearby that deliver late night eats and drinks. Area seemed safe, we were comfortable. Pool area is clean and heated, very calming, good environment. I know that was a lot but I like to be specific in my reviews....

My stay for the first time in this hotel was pathetic it was awful my first time in San Diego with my family for my son bday weekend me and my family went to this room and didn’t have a good experience at all , it was freezing the heaters did not work and I had my children I constantly complained me and my husband was so sad and upset because we had our kids and they began to get sick we didn’t even enjoy our stay we couldn’t even sleep we stayed up till check out we wanted to leave and check out early but they charged a fee to leave early it was so cold in the rooms it was to the point we had to stay in our car till check out , they moved our rooms next door and heater still didn’t work all this took place at 5 or 6 in the morning when we were suppose to be sleeping. Then they had a guy to come out and fix the heater in the wall and he couldn’t fix it so about another 1hr later they brung a heater to plug in the wall I just couldn’t believe all that money they charge and they don’t even have heat!!!!!! I was so sad for my kids I had my lil baby with my he was only 7 months old. We have all the recordings and everything I really want to take them to court cause when I was checking in the front desk already gave me a hard time to the point I had to cry , I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get a room and enjoy the weekend in San Diego with my family. And then on top of that before I even got to San Diego I called the hotel on my way there on the freeway I told them I was checking in and wanted to be sure I was reserved with my name and she said yea then I asked was the jacuzzi available she told me no but the pool was open I asked was the pool warm she said yea “!!! Long story short , by the time I checked in my room I looked over my balcony because it was loud and it was people in the jacuzzi ! I asked the people in the jacuzzi , “ I said the jacuzzi was closed they told me it was closed , they told me no it’s open the pool is closed, I said wow so is the pool warm they said no ! I was so hurt I felt lied to and maybe even racial...
