Decanter Tasting Room — Restaurant in Arizona

We stumbled upon Decanter while exploring Sedona during New Year’s, and what an incredible find it was! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a team of friendly and inviting staff. The atmosphere was lively and full of energy, making it impossible not to feel right at home.

This charming little spot is impeccably designed for a wine bar, with its stunning wine wall, a beautiful piano, and an elegant showcase of their wines. We ended up spending several hours here, soaking in the festive vibes and tasting our way through their impressive menu. The wine selection was fantastic—carefully curated with exceptional options—and the value was outstanding. It’s rare to find a tasting room that offers such quality wines at such fair prices.

The owner, Ken, and the staff clearly take immense pride in what they do, and their passion shines through in every detail. It was such a breath of fresh air to experience their genuine hospitality and expertise. While we only sampled some New Year’s cake (which was delicious), we couldn’t help but notice the tapas being served—they looked absolutely mouthwatering!

From the excellent service to the curated menu, incredible wine selection, and cozy ambiance, Decanter is truly a gem. Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or just someone looking for a delightful experience, this is the place to be. The staff’s deep knowledge of wine makes it even more enjoyable—they’re eager to share stories, tasting notes, and maybe even teach you something new.

We saw online that they offered wines from Uruguay but that turned out to be a monthly, rotating flight offering. This months flight, July '25, it's French Rosé. We also ordered a flight of Reds.

The French Rosés were stunning. Each with its own appeal and intrigue. A+

Next up was the red flight. It was AZ reds. It was nice to taste what is happening in the state as far as wine making but don't think I'd ever drink any of these wines again. The wines were not bad but when you look at the prices vs what you get in the glass I can't justify the purchase. FTR, there are some great wineries in AZ. B-

We're looking forward to coming back in for a French Rosé flight and some cheese and charcuterie.

We had the pleasure of attending a wine tasting and charcuterie experience at Decanter in Sedona, and it was an unforgettable time, thanks to Briana! From the moment we arrived, Briana made us feel welcomed and at ease. Her knowledge of the wines was exceptional, and she did an amazing job of explaining each selection with such passion and expertise. The charcuterie spread was perfectly paired with the wines, offering a delicious variety of flavours that complemented each pour beautifully.

Briana’s warm, engaging personality truly elevated the experience. She was like a ray of sunshine, it felt more like enjoying wine with an old friend than a formal tasting.

We wholeheartedly recommend Decanter for anyone visiting Sedona. The combination of fantastic wine, delicious food, and Briana’s outstanding service made this a top-tier experience. Can’t wait to return! Love from the British Babes...
