This was our last day in Sedona. We went here as we were staying at the HIlton that is just down the street. We were seated very quickly. The waiter took our drink orders and Elote with tortilla order. Drinks were delivered by our waiter, the appetizer was delivered by someone else. We ate our appetizer. Took our waiter about 25 minutes or so to come back to us to order our dinner. We both ordered the double double smash burger. Someone else delivered our food. The double double burger had so many peppers on it. It was so hot and spicy. While my husband loves this food, I do not. I ate maybe 2 bites of the burger and had some fries. I told our waiter (believe it or not it was the original waiter who came back to check on us), i told him that it was way too hot and spicy for my taste. He did apologize and asked if I wanted something else, I said the steak and cheese empanada . He said he would go see if the manager would take off the burger for me. He came back and said the manager would not take off the price of the burger and apologized for it. (Mind you he had already take away well over 3/4 of the burger and fries i did not eat) I told how disappointed I was and said it was poor (i did use a different word) service, and asked for the check. He came back and said the manager would remove the burger ($19) for something else. I did get the steak and cheese empanadas with fries as a side ($21). Sorry, but i have never received such terrible service here in Sedona. I mean to take the meal that I did not enjoy due to being so HOT for me, and to say in the beginning, IDK why the manager said no, but they would not remove the price of the burger and fries…. I expressed my displeasure saying what terrible service and that i have not had such terrible service. He brought the empanadas and fries in a take out bag. My meal was CASH PRICE $85 *was about $88 paying in card. We got 2 Modelos, 2 Mich Ultras, the Elote Corn w/tortillas, the double double smash burger and the 2 empanadas with fries.

I have been to many Sedona restaurants, during our visit. This BY FAR was the worse for service and everything. Will never return.

*of note, the bathroom is a bit different, it is a communal bathroom, meaning there are 2 urinals and 2 stalls in the same bathroom. There is a note saying that on the door…and to use...

DO NOT GO HERE. THE CHEF/OWNER IS ARROGANT AND HORRIBLY RUDE WHO DOESN’T CARE IF HIS GUESTS DON’T LIKE HIS FOOD. My husband disliked his order and we both tasted it and had to spit it out because it was horrible. The owner called my husband a kid who didn’t have good taste and refused to take his meal off the bill. I refused to pay for something that was too fatty and tasted horrible and we didn’t eat. He said it’s not his fault that we don’t have good taste. He made a huge scene in front of the entire restaurant making us look like the bad people. I was horrified at his mannerisms, his lack of empathy, his lack of compassion and lack of respect. He was downright obnoxious. Also apparently his burger has won many awards over the years so I had to try it. It was decent but not award winning in my opinion. On the other hand we ate at Butterfly Burger a few days prior and had their award winning burger. Not only was that burger truly award winning and one of my favorites that I’ve ever had, the service, ambiance and food were all PHENOMENAL. Good luck keeping your doors open Dellepiane with a chef/owner who can’t listen to his guests or respect their dislike of his product. I was horrified to say the least. It’s one thing if your food is mediocre but it’s an entire other thing if your owner/chef has absolutely no respect or regard for his paying customers experience. See picture of the owner arguing with me for 20 minutes over a sandwich that he refused to take off the bill and refused to listen to us when we complained about it. He also made a HUGE scene in front of the entire restaurant saying he doesn’t take items off the bill and it’s not his fault if we didn’t like it. Also he asked if I was a “Karen” and called my husband a child with no taste, whom he didn’t even meet cause he was waiting for me in the car. I have worked in food service for most of my life and have trained food staff in an award wining food service program and I am grossly appalled at this man’s behavior regarding his guest dissatisfaction. Absolute RIP OFF. I’d give negative stars if I could. Why? Let’s start with the fact that the owner is so cheap they charge their customers the credit card/merchant services fee at 3.5% (added to your bill). They’re also so cheap that instead of printing new menus, they have their staff scribble out the old price and write in the new one next to it with a pen.

More cheap and overpriced nonsense: want a small cup of the elote for $11? Great. Want to add a small handful of tortilla chips? That’s an extra FIVE DOLLARS… For literally 10-12 chips.

In addition, I believe I was purposefully charged $26 for the Mac n cheese when I asked for a $6 side with my steak. Plus two sandwiches we ordered were $1 more than listed on the menu. I believe the server immediately had an attitude when I examined the check.

Here’s the kicker. When you get your bill, each item is already priced with the extra 3.5% fee. But here’s the BEST PART —I did the math and they ROUND UP with each item. Meaning with each item they add the fee to, they’ll round UP to the nearest dollar. So each items gains them an additional 5-20 cents. It’s a genius scam, really. Like a new form of passive income.

To top it all off, when I expressed my frustration with this ridiculous practice (adding the cc fee) the over charge for the chips and the mistake made by the server, the “manager” came to my table and gave me… wait for it…. $2 off my bill. I would have given her $20 to never speak to me with that awful breath she had. If you’ve ever wanted to know what rotting meat and dog poop mixed together smells like, go have a conversation with her, “the manager” (I use quotes because she was taking tables the whole time we had dinner)

Bottom line, save your money and eat elsewhere. It’s not worth it and for the record, those burgers aren’t award winning at all. At least not the mediocre burgers they serve here. Almost everything about the pricing and payment felt sleazy and...

One of the few restaurants open past 8pm 🥾West Fork Trail past the maintained portion. 🎟️West Fork entrance fee is $12 per vehicle & $3 for walk in. This is a very popular hike and the parking lot can fill quickly. There are 13 water crossings. Please hike prepared! 🍉Lunch at Hideaway House 🥾Chapel Trail to Little Horse and Chicken Point 🍷Dinner at Shorebird 🥾Chapel Trail to Mystic to Hog to Little Horse. I'd been searching Google and could not figure out where to go for dinner. We ended up wandering the Collective in VOC. This place had the grills and fires going and it smelled great! We were there early, 5:00, on a Saturday night and got an awesome seat outside with views of the red rocks. Our meal was amazing, I couldn't have asked for anything to be better. We had the plantain chip starter topped with homemade guacamole and jalapeño and it was delicious! For drinks, I had a prickly pear margarita with a spicy rim and it was the perfection of sweet, salty and spice. My husband tried the mescal flight and thoroughly enjoyed it throughout the meal. We each had a small house salad which was the perfect size and fresh with a homemade vinaigrette. We shared a half skirt steak, which we had with a kale slaw and yuca fries. The steak came already split between 2 beautiful dark cutting boards, with roasted red pepper on each. There was a jar of chimichurri sauce and salsa. The steak was perfection and the sauces really added to the flavor. While the slaw was a little dry, it was made with fresh ingredients. The yuca fries were perfect, served with a sauce with just the right kick. We finished off the meal with an empenada, filled with walnut, Nutella brownie, with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. This was a perfect meal. The service was excellent, with multiple servers clearing and bringing food, and even the owner stopped by. By the time we left, the place was packed and the ambiance definitely changed, so highly recommend getting in early.
