We created a work order for the drain at the kitchen sink in our apt. Bob went to June’s office first and she was not there. Bob went to Mindy’s office to give her our work order. She said someone will be at your apartment shortly. Joe, one of the maintenance guys (who is fairly new at our property) came to help us out with the clogged drain.

Joe went right to with his analytical skills and following the process of the clogged drain. He said the drain needs to be snaked. He said I will be right back. He was back in a flash with the snake. Wow I said Vintage has a new tool and this is a cost saving for the company. Time is money and money is time.

From the beginning to the end of the work order was 1 hour as Joe worked very hard to get the drain unclogged. We were amazed at his timely fashion and knowledge of this job being done in 1 hour. Prior to Mindy and her Team we are not used to Quality Customer Service with a smile and proficient quality work.

We look forward to a Better Community under Mindy Mady’s leadership at Vintage with a 5* rating. If we could give a 10* rating we would do this.

Admittedly, I haven't spoken w/every tenant, but have yet to hear a favorable response. Most feel stuck here, myself included. Many don't have any choice, sadly. Why not care a little more, instead of taking most of our SS? How about more amenities for our furry family members? A safe place to run? A place to let them out under cover? Other 55+ places offer dog spa & dog parks. Why are you letting tenants smoke? I informed office that I've never smoked, cannot tolerate it. Where am I offered? Across the hall from a known smoker. Unit below me also has a smoker. I've asked to be moved to ground floor for this reason, as well as old ankle injury. Office people either inexperienced or don't care, or both. Elders deserve better! I can't use my blender or food processor due to electrical issues. Doors have no weather stripping. Little fixable things. I realize it could be worse, but I'm looking for another place to live. Shouldn't have to live out our senior years in an unsafe place (see other reviews re: assaults/harassment). Bring back our Free Room!! Give us a break; many gave little left over after...

The management (Melissa) and maintenance (Jason) departments are doing a fantastic job despite the handicap that the management company is providing them! The front door problem is ongoing even though it could have been resolved a long time ago with a total replacement. The piecemeal approach authorized by the maintenance company has not worked and the cost has now exceeded the total replacement projected cost! Speaking of the front door, security is practically nonexistent due to the entire world having the code. It has never been changed and there has certainly been a lot of turnover in the ensuing years. Another complaint I hear frequently is the amount of funds available to offer the residents some special events. I’m told they used to be able to celebrate birthdays and meals for holidays etc. Now, it appears the residents need to provide all that with minimal funds. This falls back on the management company. Melissa does what she can.
