As much as I love this shop, the owner is severely toxic. One of my friends helps the company with events to get it traction as it's a very new company. Unfortunately, Doug accused my friend of "Poaching Customers". It is 2024. My friend was helping. Not poaching. To add, my friend was helping them with events which has gotten the company traction. A "customer" had told Doug that my friend was "talking trash" and "stealing pokemon cards". This never happened. My friend was VERY MUCH not doing either of those. They discussed pricing and how they didn't understand the stores prices of a $125 Wii and stuff. But all the Pokemon cards are locked up, there's no way for them to steal the pokemon cards. I believe they are believing customers and jumping to conclusions before deciding what is really going on. They refused to listen to my friend's side of the story as well. I wouldn't come here unless you are ready to be falsely accused of things you didn't do. They are also telling other game shops and informing them. This isn't good. For a company that is "a comfort zone" "safe space" etc ... It seems to have a very toxic environment. Start looking for both sides and getting investigations before jumping to this many conclusions.

Definitely got the vibe right away the owner didn't want to do business with me. Even though we did talk weeks prior to me bringing in some collectibles for sell. I brought in a tote full of more valuable Funko POPS and action figures then what he has in stock. Barely gave me the time of day. Guess you got to be a regular or buds to sell here. If you don't look like your typical gamer than the owner treats you like your some sort of cluck. I go in there with well over 200$ worth of cards and he offers me 50$ for everything. I ask him what he usually pays and he says 50%. So I pull out 6 or 7 cards worth about 112$ and he says no he will only pay 50$ for everything i had. I am not clucking of my shit for 25% or less.
