DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! POSTED JULY 31, 2018 We were told the cottages were very cute and would suit us and our 3 English Mastiffs while we were in town from Oregon for a dog show. We were horrified when we arrived late Friday evening to find these "cottages" were in fact NOT "cottages" but rather VERY dated single wide mobile homes! We arrived at approx. 11:30 pm after driving 4 hours on top of working 9 hours earlier in the day. So finding another hotel was not an option - all of us were exhausted. Shortly after entering our "cottage" we noticed several things.... sugar ants in the kitchen a horrible smell of "mildew" the couch had plywood under the cushions so not comfortable to sit on in the least. Wifi??? - no such thing. NO AIR - so the mobile home aka "cottage" was like a hot box all weekend. We were charged $45 each night (2) for a cleaning fee for our dogs - fine. When we checked out - leaving the place as clean as when we came with the exception of beds unmade and dirty towels in the bathroom (hotel housekeeping would change beds and clean towels anyway so why would we do that) we received a voicemail stating that they were charging an additional fee for soiled towels???? So we called them. The lady who answered used the words "uh huh" multiple times and would not directly explain the charge to us. She eventually passed us off to the manager who WAS RUDE AND JUDGEMENTAL AND ACCUSED US of bathing our dogs in their big tub. Which we did NOT do!! (our show dogs are professionally groomed prior to any show they enter) Yes our puppy did jump in the tub after we were finished showering this morning because she likes to play with the bubbles left in the bottom of the tub. So apparently she left paw prints in the tub which the manager didn't like. They also accused us of "disrespecting their hotel by allowing our dogs on their furniture"? (They may want to tell their help not to offer customers extra sheets for the beds "for the dogs") All 3 of our dogs sleep in their soft crates when we are traveling. Yes, they did get on the couch. So what is the pet deposit for? Then the manager had to nerve to tell us not to come back??? WHAT???? So, on top of the $45/pet fee they have charged our credit card and additional $100 for a wet bathtub and 2 bath towels they said were soiled. NEVER IN ALL OF OUR HOTELS STAYS have we had this experience. We are always very mindful of our dogs and even more so when in public or in a hotel. WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN, NEVER!!! I will also contact the kennel club and inform them of the treatment by their management. Hopefully, the kennel club will remove this hotel from their premium lists for future dog shows in Sequim. We are honest people, we would have had NO PROBLEM taking care of any additional charges they felt were reasonable. What we have a problem with is how the management went about this and how we were treated in the...

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Sequim Motor Inn and RV Park, and I must say that my overall impression of the place is far from positive. The incident that truly tainted my entire stay occurred when I inadvertently left my driver's license behind upon checking out of the hotel.
In an effort to rectify my mistake, I diligently contacted the establishment not once, not twice, but four times to inquire about my lost item. On each occasion, I was assured that someone would look into the matter and get back to me promptly. Regrettably, those promises turned out to be nothing more than empty words, as I never received any form of assistance or even a simple callback.
Feeling frustrated and desperate to resolve the situation, I made yet another call this morning, only to be met with an astonishingly rude, argumentative, and utterly disrespectful man on the other end of the line. The level of unprofessionalism displayed during this encounter was beyond belief. Instead of addressing my concerns with empathy and understanding, he chose to engage in a pointless argument, further exacerbating my frustration and disappointment.
I was willing to go the extra mile to rectify the situation, even offering to pay for the shipping of my driver's license back to me. However, despite my willingness to cooperate, the staff at the Sequim Motor Inn and RV Park failed to provide the necessary assistance. It is truly disheartening to encounter such an unhelpful and rude individual, especially when attempting to resolve a matter of personal importance.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise potential visitors to save both their time and hard-earned money by seeking accommodations elsewhere. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and complete disregard for resolving guest issues make this establishment a place to avoid. There are undoubtedly better options available that prioritize customer satisfaction and exhibit a basic level of respect towards...
Read moreI have been staying at this hotel since I was 10 and now I'm almost 60. At first I thought I was kind of funky but now I realize it's one of my favorite hotels ever and I'm someone in the last year has staying 8n at least 3 dozen hotels and the maintenance manager for one 9f Seattles biggest oldest property managers in charge of our hotel division which at the time included 5 hotels downtown. So I know the business. Honestly for the price best deal I've ever had.|0l7s "kid" that checked me in, extremely pleasant experience and flawless until resent hotels that forget they are i.n the hospitality business. |Found out kid is owner! Why I putting review in TA because Bible of our industry. This kid deserves told props because the secret and hotels is to continue your maintenance and upgrade your rooms and so many people are not doing that now and their faltering. The rooms here are kind of funky but that's why I've always loved about him and if you look around the rooms have wood trim which is just stained incredibly hard to keep up even in the home let alone a hotel. The furniture might be older but like the box with ceilings and beams in the room make it feel like you're almost staying with an elderly relative that you love. Plus I have not met a single person here and I think I've met the whole staff that hasn't been pleasant and helpful. So if you're thinking of staying here and put off by thinking it might be an older place in just a little motel on the side of the highway you would be wrong if he didn't stay here cuz like I said it's still Tuesday since I was 10 years old one my favorite hotels and I spent a lot of time in hotels. |And bravo to the new owner because I've never seen it look so good. It's been nothing but a pleasure staying here and if you look at my other reviews it's been a long time since I've given one of those good ones |Take it from a pro that his rooms go for about five times the amount I would take these rooms any day over the rooms I used to check out in my rooms were in...
