Conclare Beach Resort — Hotel in Siesta Key

So... Do not book at this hotel. Everything they say is a lie. The beach is a long walk from the hotel. You have to walk down the beach until the hotel section ends. It is a lousy little corner of the beach. The Conclare Beach Resort no longer exists. It is part of a huge resort company that just doesn’t care about their customers. I booked the Conclare and paid the premium price to be close to the beach. The new mega corporation put is in a room on the main road far from the beach. The staff and the general manager said tough luck. When you book at the Conclare Beach Resort the confirmation states that we can put you anywhere we please in the Resort’s property. Checked out and rebooked at a property half the price further away from the ridiculous traffic on Siesta Key. Seriously, plan on a half hour of traffic getting on and off Siesta Key and a beach that has another group sitting within 2-3 feet. Sardines... not my cup of tea and definitely not a...

Fast, friendly check-in. Very clean, well manicured grounds with pool and shuffleboard. Tastfully decorated beach themed rooms that were very clean and well stocked with appliances and everything you'd need to cook/eat with. Beach is beautiful and just a 2 minute walk from the room. Our room did have a minor maintenance issue, which was responded to within minutes, and we weren't required to be present, so we didn't loose any valuable time over it. Would 100% recommend and...

I was not expecting the Junior suite to have a bee in the entry way. The strong smell of PineSol was not pleasant. Other disinfectants do the job in a much friendlier way. The room was dark and small. I refused to stay but was charged for one...
