I was very dissatisfied with the service I received at the Slidell location at Fremaux mall center. I came into the store to purchase a diamond bracelet for my wife. The associate Heather informed me that she recommended I come back during the week of Christmas to buy the bracelet due to an upcoming sell they would be having the day after Christmas. As you can imagine I was excited.. So I waited and returned the day after Christmas to purchase the bracket. Mind you I live an hour away.
Anyway I return to the store to purchase the bracelet and I get there and the tell me they have sold my bracelet that they were suppose to be holding for me; not only that but that it was the last one in stock. The other she saw in the system was in Texas or I could order it online. She recommended I order it online and that she would honor the military price and deduct the protection plan price from my order. So although I was beyond disappointed and even upset that they sold the ring in store I ordered it online.
Now once the online transaction was completed and got the receipt I realized that she did not deduct the protection plan price at all and gave an excuse that the computer would not allow here to do so. I believe she should have told me that before placing the order! When I inquired about the additional charge she wanted to cancel the whole order when the order which she said it would take time for the money to be placed back on my card or she could cancel the order once it arrived next week.
This is just ridiculous and bad customer service on so many levels. I asked for their names and business card and I’m reporting this to corporate. As soon as I get home became after all of the store manger basically said there is nothing she could do for me even though what the original associative told me was against store policy.. I’m angry all over again by typing this right now. Hopefully the company will do something to make this right. This was wrong and an injustice to anyone...

Over the past two months, I have visited several Kay's locations, and my experience at the other stores was not as pleasant. However, Shawn's attentiveness, knowledge, patience, and kindness made my experience at the Slidell store truly outstanding.
As a store manager myself, I understand the importance of exceptional customer service, and I am truly impressed by Shawn's dedication to providing an exceptional shopping experience. I live 15 miles from the Slidell store, but I am committed to shopping exclusively with Shawn for all my future purchases.
I strongly believe that exceptional customer service is a direct reflection of the leadership team, and I encourage you to consider cross-training opportunities for your stores in the greater New Orleans area.

Nevertheless, it was broken within a couple months. The string is heavy duty, but we think it’s not waterproof. It basically deteriorated. I honestly couldn’t remember if I purchased the warranty, and if I hadn’t, I was inquiring my options. When Heather looked my account up, she was more than happy to still help me without the warranty due to how soon it had been since the purchase.
