On October 14 I went to this store for assistance placing an online order. I wanted the ring shipped to the store. As I was entering my information the rep that helped me told me to click ship to me, then change the shipping address to the stores address (I found this odd but who am I to question her). I followed her directions & placed the order. As of 9 pm that night I never received a confirmation email but my card was charged. I proceeded to do online chats twice in the next 5 days trying to receive information about my order. One day they would say it was shipped, the next they would tell me it was delivered & once I was told it was still in processing. The rep on the online chat called the store and was told they didn't have it. On October 25th I contacted customer care, spent close to 90 minutes on the phone, was given a case # & told that I would have to place another order since this one was obviously lost. As a result, my credit card was charged twice. I was also told that I would be contacted in 3-5 days once the case was reviewed for my refund to be processed. After 5 days I called customer care & was then told it can take up to 14 days. I am now at day 18, no one has emailed me or called me and I had to pay my credit card bill for the 2nd charge. This is completely unacceptable and poor business. It was discovered that the first order was likely lost because when the rep asked me to change the shipping address to the store, she didn't give me the store suite # nor did she advise me to put Zales instead of my name. The shipping label simply has my name and the main address for the entire strip mall. I am beyond frustrated at this point, because now the 2nd charge that I had to pay out of my pocket won't go back into my bank account, it will simply be a credit on my credit card. I have been a Zales customer for over 20 years but NOT NO MORE and I'll tell EVERYONE I know to boycott them. I'm hoping this review gets to a very important person with Zales and that someone gives me my money back immediately. Read moreExtremely dissatisfied… purchased a birthstone necklace as a push present for my fiancé only to get a phone call from Zale’s afterwards telling me what i actually purchased was a 2 piece set which included a ring. Keep in mind I’d never seen the ring, was not told the necklace was part of a “set”, and never intended on purchasing a ring in the first place as I knew it would likely require sizing. Low and behold our daughter is born the following day and I of course gave my fiancé the necklace as her push present. When I returned to Zales to see the ring for the first time, I’m told I have a few options. (1) I can pay $150 to have it properly sized, (2) I can purchase their protection plan for $60-$70, or (3) I can take the ring as is and give my fiancé a ring I know will not fit her. Not that I wanted something for free (such as the sizing for example), but consider now that my options are limited to either paying additional money for something I didn’t want in the first place, taking the ring as is which cannot be worn, or taking the necklace back from my fiancé to return it along with the ring (which I WILL NOT do). Never once did Zales offer anything for THEIR mistake such as a discount on the sizing or the protection plan. The offer would have certainly been appreciated. Moral of this story… I should have known exactly what I was buying instead of relying solely on the staff so shame on me, however, shame on Zales for what I consider to be poor customer service on their part. My fiancé now has a ring she cannot wear and I’ve learned a valuable lesson. I will consider getting the ring sized elsewhere and WILL NOT be giving my business to Zales at Fremeaux Town Center in the future. Read moreWhen I tell you, as soon as my husband and I walked into the store… we were greeted with so much excitement and hospitality. The smiles on the workers faces made me smile even more so. Side note 📝 the day before (June 25, 2023 we celebrated our 12 year wedding anniversary) My husband and I came into purchase a jewelry cleaning cloth…… SO WE THOUGHT. Yes we purchased the cloth BUT WE ALSO LEFT OUT OF THERE WITH A NEW BEST FRIEND AND HER NAME IS MS. OPAL!!! BBBAAAYYYY-BEE IN MY TRUE NEW ORLEANS VOICE Ms. Opal went above and beyond and made us feel like VIP. ( in my mind we are lol) but for real she checked everything got us., ring inspection, cleaning and so forth. After business was handled we felt as if we were outside on the porch drinking homemade sweet tea made by the sun. #goldensoul She made my husband and I glad we stopped by. Btw we were visiting family and I PROMISE YOU EVERY TIME I COME BACK HOME I WILL MAKE SURE TO STOP BY AND SAY HELLO TO MS. Opal and other staff members. So for the people who come across this review stop by Zales anyone will be happy to help BUT PLEASE JUST ASK FOR MS OPAL YOU WILL Truly THANK ME LATER💜⚜️
