It's been a tradition since 2000 we've headed down to South Padre Island. My wife and I always rented a hotel in Port Isabel, and then we would drive to our destination on the beach. Unload all our stuff and wall to the beach. We would always see these beach front-end hotels/condos, and we told each other that one day we're be spending our week in one of those. We'll the time came. We stayed here and it was the best place we've stayed at. The view was breathtaking. The sunrise was flawless. My family was surprised cause they're so use to these cheap hotels while spending the week here. It's worth every penny to stay here. Highly recommend it!!!! Thanks, Seabreeze, for making us feel welcome and making us feel at home. Gonna return next year to you guys about the same time.

A lot of constructions and drilling on the outside walls of unit 406. We can't hardly have conversations because of the annoying drilling noises outside our room. When we booked our condo unit, we were told that the construction will be finished by time we arrive on 7 Jul 2023. No one is able to get any rest during the day, luckily we have the beach to relax during the day. I went to the office around 1230 or 1pm and asked the front desk clerk for a manager and she told me that he won't be in until 930am on Tuesday, 9 Jul 2023. I don't think I'll come back to this Seabreeze Condo. For the prize we paid, we should be discounted because of the constructions.

Our third year to stay here. And every year, the staff is friendly, the pools are clean, the beach conditions are perfect, and the weather is glorious. The condo that I chose this year had all new counters and cabinetry and updated bathrooms. Homey and comfortable (Except that there were no mattress pads on the beds. Who does that?!).

These people are crooks, DO NOT stay here!!! They claimed we did damage to condo 201, we did not- please see my original post below for details. I did not allow them to charge my credit card $774 for damages we did not do so they dug up a different credit card from our stay there 2 years ago and charged it!!! They charged a card I did not use or authorize on this years trip!!! Who does that?!?! I can’t wait to see the smart aleck retort to this Seabreeze management- if you notice they retort all negative reviews and claim they were never in the wrong for anything. And in response to your retort on my original review -the scratches to the fridge were high on the freezer- no where near the reach of any child. The condos here are nice, the area is nice, the complex is nice- but is it really worth the risk of getting your money stolen by these crooks? Think about that before you book here.

We checked into Seabreeze condo 201 late on a Sunday afternoon. Condo was beautiful and clean. I noticed the guest bathroom door was damaged. I took pictures of what I found and reported to the office the next morning. The maintenance man was there when I was reporting it and he said it looked like someone forced open the door and he would fix it later that afternoon. He put it back together but didn’t fix it so we left the door alone the remainder of our trip and used the other door instead. And to note, my four year old and my 8 month old stayed in that room- no one strong enough to force open the door. Upon check out on Thursday I reported to the office that I lost one of the keys and agreed to the $75 fee. I reminded them that the door was still damaged. They told me they were going to fix it today. Two days later I called and asked if they had found the key in the condo and an expensive silk shirt I left behind. The office said no then accused me of having caused the damage to the door in addition to scratches to the refrigerator door. Ummm, what?!?! Not once during our stay did they question me about the damage or accuse me of anything. And for the record we did not cause any damage to that condo!! As for the refrigerator, we saw the scratches and didn’t think anything of them because it’s a cheap fake stainless refrigerator- scratches are inevitable. I didn’t report them because I didn’t think it was a big deal. Now, 2 days later they want to charge me $700 for damages we did not do?!?!! Unacceptable!!!! The office stated their housekeeping didn’t report any damage prior to our check in and the owner stayed there before we did therefore, we had done the damage. I assured them we did not cause the damage and asked them to question their housekeepers again because someone was not being truthful. They stated their housekeepers were trustworthy because they had been working there a long time- ? What does that have to do with anything?! Now, I’m not accusing housekeeping of causing the damage, I don’t know who did but it was not us. I feel like the owner is trying to upgrade the condo at our expense. I agreed to pay the $75 for the lost key and that was it. The office person was rude and accusatory making statements like “you caused the damage” “the owner is very particular about the condo so you are responsible” “we are charging your card we don’t need your permission again” I am very upset by this and you should be aware of these types of behaviors before you choose to stay here. We did not cause any damage. We are a family with small children not teenagers on spring break!! Oh and of course, they claim they did not find my expensive top- I’m sure someone in that condo complex is enjoying...

This year, we stayed in Condo #104, a 2 bedroom/2 bath on the first floor. The large kitchen, dining room and living room was all we needed for our 1 month stay. The large sliding door with ceiling to floor view is visible throughout. Furniture in the living room includes brown wicker couch, loveseat and chair with matching foot stool. The couch has a fold out bed. There are 2 side tables with lamps and a coffee table in the same wicker style. There is a large (42"?) television. Coastal decor througout the condo. Cailing fans are located in the living room, the master bedroom and the guest bedroom. HVAC is available provided with easy access controllable controls. ||The master bedroom has a large kingsize bed, a large dresser, a chest of drawers and one bedside table. The closet is very large with lots of space for our needs. The masterbedroom has a large sliding door and ceiling to floor window for access to the patio. Another large TV set in the master bedroom and a third large TV set in the second/guest bedroom. The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds, 1 bedside table with a large lamp between them, and a large dresser in coastal decor. The guest bedroom has a very large closet with folding doors.||The master bathroom has a large walk-in shower with great water pressure. (Better than my shower at home!) The second bathroom has access from the guest bedroom. An additional access to the second bathroom from the kitchen/hallway dining area. The second bathroom has a nice size shower and a large vanity. Big fluffy white towels and washcloths are provided. ||The condo has a large utility room with full size washer and dryer. All kinds of beach fun is provided including 6+ large beach towels, beach chairs, 4+ boogie boards of different sizes, plastic pails and scoops, 2 kites. ||The hot tub and heated pool are directly next to our patio which is protected by a large metal fence and a private gate. The gate to the beach and the coastline is just steps away from this condo. ||Staff at reception and maintenance are amazing. We return year after year (30 so far) because of the wonderful staff. This facility is wonderfully maintained. There is a heated pool, hot tub and nonheated pool. All are located on brick and tile terrace with a protective fence surrounding a landscapted area. For dogs that accompany their owners on vacation, SBR provides a grassed area for dogs to do their business. Doggy poop bags are provided throughout the facility. Dogs are NOT allowed in the...

The complex itself is fine. Old but fairly well maintained. We've stayed here 3 times and have even considered purchasing a unit.

The problem is the management staff. The ladies are just plain rude. This is a long term issue (see earlier reviews that reference this). They've been rude each visit and l've overlooked it. This is the last time I'll stay here as a renter. If I become an owner I’ll do everything I can to change the property managment as they aren't doing the owners any favors and are actually costing business due to their general lack of basic hospitality.

We're here during construction. No advance notice. No calls or emails. They said they left a voicemail. They didn't. I learned of it because I saw a notice on the website the day before we arrived. We booked months in advance. There was no time to find an alternative. The construction noise is horrible. Mind rattling. Headache inducing. Management couldn’t care less. No apologies.

More disturbing (especially if I was an owner) is their attitude and disregard for people with disabilities. Apparently ADA means nothing to them because I asked for a Reasonsble Accommodation on the morning of arrival via phone and was completely rebuffed. Told "NO."

Upon arrival an accommodation was made but it was grudgingly... and very stressful for us.

Advice: Train your staff on ADA!! Its the LAW and its the right thing to do. Beyond that, the consequences for owners for refusal to comply could be severe... and on that topic this complex features short steep narrow ramps and narrow clearances to get to said ramps.

Our unit was clean and well equipped but had roaches and ants, too.

Bottom line: given the horrible construction I really wish we'd been given enough notice to find another option - I'm sure the fact we weren't notified was purposeful. We did get a minor discount.

Will not return and do not...
