My BF booked a room on Feb. 26th 2025 for 2 days (Friday Feb 28th to Sunday March 2nd) with his Choice rewards points. He had won tickets to the car show for that weekend. We planned to checkout Sunday at 11 to hit the car show for a few hours then head back home but all that was ruined. The girl at the front desk checked us in for the 2 days Fri-Sun as we got to our room the front desk clerk (girl) came to us and asked for his ID again. I thought it was strange so I asked her what for and she said it was for the free coffee in the office. 🤔🤔 On Saturday he received an email that he had been checked out by the GM the owner I'm guessing but we didn't think much of it because no one came in to the room to clean it or check if anyone was still there so we just thought it was a fluke. Then later that night around 8:30 pm someone opened our door. So we yelled "Hey this room is occupied!" It was a young couple we were talking to each other explaining how they had it for that night as well as Sunday. Turns out they Double Booked the room which again feels weird how they rented them the room without cleaning it or anything because like I mentioned earlier no one came to clean it or give us fresh towels take out our trash or anything or we would have known that email was not a fluke and have fixed the issue sooner. So we went to the office We showed our confirmation and the couple that had opened the room had agreed to take a refund and go someplace else. We thought that was the end of it but wait there's more 🙄. At 9:40 pm the front desk clerk came knocking. He stated his manager told him we had to pay for the night or leave claiming we had checked out early (which again we hadn't because we had plans for the weekend). Bullshit!! So my BF told him to call his GM. He did and he tried to explain our parking pass has the checkout on the 2nd and the confirmation for 2 days with checkout on the 2nd. He just kept yelling over the phone YOU PAY OR YOU GET OUT!!! Never gave him a chance to explain that we had more proof of confirmation. Again BULLSHIT!!! So my BF told them he was going to call PD. PD got there and they said we were well within my rights to stay but we opted to leave I feel like he discriminated us because he wasn't making any money off of our stay due to room being booked with the points. Also the hotel themselves checked us out because in the confirmation it even discloses we can't cancel the reservation because the cancelation deadline had expired. And since it is the start of SPRING BREAK the GM wanted to make the money cuz all the hotels raise their rates on the weekends and when they have special events so we know they screwed us royally on this. So yes we were kicked out because we used points. But who the does that kind of shit dude kick someone out in the middle of the night? We had to give away the tickets to the car show because we had nowhere to stay also the humiliation we went through we had people all on the 2nd stories and around the pool just watching and listening to what was happening. I do not recommend this place at all for numerous reasons. When we got there the room had an ugly odor (but we always carry Lysol and sanitizing wipes), the sink was clogged my BF unclogged it, the water pressure in the shower was very low and the hot water was only luke warm, there were no wash cloths and only 1 face towel or hand towel (idk what to call it), the telephone didn't work to call the front desk, and they didn't even provide the wifi also most of the TV channels were audio no video🙄, there were kids running outside you could hear till late night and loud music with people partying even though there are signs no loud music or noise after 10pm, also no continental breakfast even though the amenities shows it has it but worst of all no top latch for security hence the reason the couple walked into our room. Read moreThis place tries to make money any way they can; they are cheaper hotels. They charge 10 dollars for bracelets, unknown for what use, so for example, if you have four adults, they charge you for four bracelets which equal 40 dollars above your room charge. Other hotel bracelets are accessible according to how many guests are in your room. To top it off, we found a cockroach in our room, just FYI for anyone going to the hotel and getting unexpected charges. Oh, plus they charge a $200 damage deposit above everything, which will be returned after they inspect your room when you leave. So I got two rooms and was charged 400 dollars.

Update from the reviewer: We would like to know because it was booked through booking.com. We were given a sheet with a list of items per room to check for damages. I asked Emilio; the front counter person don't you all evaluate the property before being vacated? How do we know if they were previous damages we missed during checking in and might get charged for it? He said the housekeeper has been there for ten years and knows what they are doing. Doing our check-in, we found several discrepancies and noted them. We were charged $238.05 for one room then $230 for the other room as per our credit card statement when the charge was supposed to be 200 per room. Plus, the floors were filthy. If you walk barefooted, your feet are black, and you are taking a shower. The floor was black. Upon check out, Emilio front counter guy, stated we would get our refund in three to five days.
