When getting to the hotel, the manager had us give him a $100 cash deposit which is non-refundable if checking out early. He then had us sign a few papers, without explanation on what we were signing, my fiancé and I were extremely tired due to our 18 hour car ride to get here so we didn’t read the papers in full depth.
They also have a towing company through a third party, which isn’t explained on any of the booking sites, so be aware of your car getting towed.
When getting to our room, we just wanted to shower and go to sleep, but didn’t look at the room fully before doing so. The next day is when we noticed how awful the room actually was. I had placed a couple of my clothes on the floor and when I went to pick them up, 4 roaches went running out from under them, after that I noticed that one of the beds in our room had what looked like liquid poop smeared along the side of the sheet and across the bed skirt, and there was mold all over the ceiling. There were also little bugs flying all over the room. The towels were not clean either. The TV did not work, the floor had dirt and stickiness to it, and there were huge holes in the wall.
We immediately went to the front desk to ask about checking out early and getting a refund, the lady told us to go through Expedia and then we will get it but the manager had to approve it. We went in the next morning to check out and the manager said we were not getting our money back or getting the cash deposit. He said there was nothing that he could do as it is “hotel policy” and that we would be loosing out on $500. I told him that I wasn’t staying here as I told him what was wrong with our room. He then got loud and more violent, started cussing at me, and said if I wanted to leave that I could do so. I told him I was leaving and he replied with “K, bye” I then asked if he wanted my keys back and he said “no they deactivate within a day so I don’t really need it”.
As we were driving out of the hotel parking lot to go to our new one, the manager walked outside and started taking pictures of my car and my license plate, which doesn’t make sense. He also refused to give the copy he took of my fiancé’s drivers license back to us as it is “needed to stay at the hotel for the next 3 months” which also doesn’t make sense.
All in all, if you want to keep money and not get scammed out of it, don’t stay here. If you want any part of your identity to stay with you and not copied, like a drivers license or your credit card, don’t stay here. If you want to keep your car without it getting towed or broken,...
Read moreI called Tuesday Aug 27th at 5:03pm and got a quote for a week long stay (Aug 29th - Oct 6th) the helpful lady I spoke with put me on hold then came back and quoted me $250 with a pet for the week. I called this morning twice before arriving at the lobby to check in a received no answer. When I came into the office this morning to check in there was a gentleman who was very rude. He informed me that there was a $25 per pet per day fee. When I told him that I was quoted $250 when I called in on Tuesday he completely ignored me and told me the total would be almost $600. We I asked him to only book 4 nights he told me it would be the same thing because there wouldn't be a weekly discount. I then tried to book for one night and he told me I wouldn't be able to check in till after 3pm. By this point it became obvious he was going out of his way to be difficult and not book me a room. I asked him what I could do to check in now and he told me I would have to book another day to be able to check in. When I handed him my credit card to proceed he pointed to a sign and said he was refusing to help me. When I asked for the manager he said that he was the manager for now. I then asked for his name to which he refused to give me. I asked for the contact to the management or the owners and he also refused to give me that information. I think it is completely ridiculous and absurd to allow someone with zero knowledge of customers service to work the front desk of this establishment. Read moreThis place was very horrible. We came to check in and they charged us an extra 25 dollars for another person to stay in a 2 bed room and on top of that extra fees per night we stayed. When we asked to get a room on the first floor because my parents have bad knees for them to be going up and down the stairs, they told us they couldn't switch rooms like that. Out of all the hotels and stays I've been at no one has ever done that!!! When we went into our room it was so nasty. There was still hair in the shower. There were dirty stains on the walls. There was sand in our beds. The tub wasn't clean either. After we saw all this we went to ask for another room they told us we couldn't and we would have to wait for the owner to go see if the room was dirty. Like instead of making this a bigger problem help solve it. I was also not the only guest who complained about their rooms being dirty too. After about an hour they finally cleaned our room. When we looked at what they did they only cleaned the bed. They didn't even clean anything in the bathroom. I honestly felt disgusted by this and would never book here again. Also the customer service is very bad. They are rude and couldn't accommodate anything. The owner was there hearing all of this and making it seem like all the guests were making this stuff up.
