Me and my son came here over the weekend and out of all the restaurants we decided to try, this one was the most disappointing. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because I enjoyed the game of pool I played with my son while waiting for service.
Initially we thought the establishment was closed because it was a ghost town when we walked in. Nobody walked up to greet us. I even noticed a man peek his head around the kitchen door and go back to doing what he was doing as we sat down.
Me and my son almost got through a whole game of pool before even being greeted by someone. We should have left after our game but we were hungry and had already waited so long
I am a huge foodie and love to try different foods and combos. I ordered the MonteCristo which is a combo of French toast with turkey and cheese. I'm not sure if it was the combo itself or I received some outdated deli meat but I took a couple of bites and called it.
I paid for the meal which I said I would but as a business owner I should not even have been charged for it. Luckily my son finished the top French toast slice so it wasn't a total waste.
I do not recommend this place to anybody and was not family friendly in my honest opinion. Take your family elsewhere and save yourself the...
Read moreI gave my PERSONAL OPINION about this restaurant like everyone is supposed to and the owner attacks.
Response from the owner 2 hours ago After Reading your other reviews I am not surprised you didn't like it. Really? Olive Garden? Chipotle? 5 Stars? I am in the company of other good restaurants. I recommend sticking to your day job and stop bashing small businesses that go out of the way to satisfy you. You are not a food critic and many others like our place. Stick to the large corporate restaurants and stay satisfied and remember what your mother said.. "If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing" and just don't go back.
This is not a place I would refer. We ordered lemon pepper wings with fries and the Monte Cristo sandwich. The wings and fries were over cooked. Wings were dry to the bone and the fries crunched. The Monte Cristo was just toasted bread with no powdered...
Read moreWe were looking for a late night bite on the island and found ourselves here. We were greeted immediately by a furry, friendly staff member (Sputnik the bull terrier)! We sat at the bar and got served immediately. Our bartender informed us she was leaving but the other bartender would take care of us… he didn’t speak to us once. It got busy while we were there so the original bartender ended up staying on (thank goodness because I’m not sure we would have gotten served otherwise). She was great. We ordered the chorizo fondue. It had very, very little chorizo and the chips were oily. We also got a cheeseburger and patty melt to go, both were pretty good! Expect typical bar food. This is also a cigar bar so expect a smoke-filled environment on the ground level.
Overall, we enjoyed our experience and you can’t beat the...
