My husband and I just celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary at St. Michaels Harbour Inn & Spa. We had an amazing time and by far the BEST Maryland crab dip we have EVER had Harrisons Harbour Lights Restaurant . @saintmichaelsharbourinn truly has it all. From water front hotel rooms & suites, @harrisonsharbourlights restaurant (that has the best views of any restaurant in St. Michaels & an authentic Eastern Shore menu ) plus the day spa at Harbour Inn conveniently located steps away from many rooms! We were blown away with the charm and down to earth hospitality. The resort was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. Despite our weekend getaway being a complete wash out we were able to have a fantastic time and were amazed with the beautiful Marina and panoramic view from our Waterfront Admiral Suite. The rain didn’t stop us from having a romantic and unforgettable time BUT it did encourage us to book another stay to enjoy during sunny weather. ‼️ Use code MDFUN for a 10% discount on your room ! Here are a few of our favorite things/ amenities… ☕️24/7 Hot or Iced Coffee and Tea Bar ⛱️Covered Balcony that over looked the water 🌹🥂Two person Jacuzzi ( they offer a rose petal and champagne option and timed it just right so when we arrived after dinner it was ready for us to enjoy ) 🦀 The restaurant @harrisonsharbourlights is phenomenal. Delicious food, amazing staff , stunning views and family owned & involved in industry since 1938. ( Ms. Ethel Lee is a gem) 🧖‍♀️ Spa was so relaxing , highly recommend booking. Vide your visit, they book up fast! 🍹The pool w/ outdoor window to bar ( delicious orange crushed) ❤️friendliest staff that was so helpful and knowledgeable 🚙 Car service to and from town 🚲 bikes available to use to explore the town ⚓️They have access to boats you can book for sunset cruises and more! Great for not just couples , truly for anyone looking to getaway and enjoy the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland .

The experience of the Hotel fell short of expectation. At the time that I am posting this review, No one has contacted me from the hotel to discuss the points below, an email was sent, I even called the hotel to follow up and no one is available. Truly disappointing guest services from the hotel management. In summary the hotel room is dated, Housekeeping lacks the attention for details, the room was dirty, and some interactions weren't the best. no value for a room rate of $600+. We arrived late on the 19th around midnight, the night auditor was very pleasant and accommodating. He offered to pick up the luggage cart from outside our room so we didn't have to come back down. We checked into our room and the condition of the room really fell below what you would expect from a $600+ room rate per night. I'm not confident at all that the room was properly inspected prior to arrival, the overall cleanliness is subpar. Almost everything was dirty ,the walls , bathtub, carpet , the pocket door between the living room and the bedroom was covered in dust (probably hasn't been wiped down in months!), one of the bathroom light bulb was out, the light fixture in the vanity room was off center, I could go on... the cherry on top was the bedroom, thankfully the bed linen seemed clean (but with everything else going on it left us wonder), there was considerable ceiling damaged, perhaps a leak had occurred before and was very poorly patched (a "i found someone that can do it cheaper situation") On the 20th we decided to try the breakfast, we arrived through the 2nd floor entrance and we were a bit confused upon entering the space, no host stand, no one to greet us until we ventured further out and noticed that staff hanging out by the bar area. We asked if we could sit outside, we were told that the patio was wet and wasn't wiped down (unfortunate because it was a nice day out). We sat down inside, and were given menus, ordered coffee, but both breakfast menus were different; one had more items than the other, we asked which menu was accurate and we were told both were accurate... We asked about the french toast, we were then informed that french toast, pancakes and waffles were not available. At this point we decided to pay for the coffee and went into town for breakfast. When we came back to the hotel, after exploring the town our room was not refreshed, we stopped by the bar on the first floor to take some beverages to our room, my wife was waiting on the bartender to finish her crab legs prior to being able to order, once she was done she was met with a short attitude, we charged the beverages to room and left. Prior to going to dinner we used the shuttle service offered, it's a nice amenity, the older gentleman that drove us was nice, but again the shuttle could use a vacuum session. On the 21st, prior to checking out we had an appointment at the spa, it was a pleasant experience, Renee and Arin (?) took good care of us. Upon checking out I went to the Front desk and tried to relay the feedback of the room condition, and I felt bad for the front desk agent she looked afraid and lost, all she said was that she would relay my information and someone would contact me, I don't know if a manager was available but it would have been nice to address some of the issues experience right then and there, here we are couple days later and no one reached out. Overall, just for the room spending $ 1600+ for 2 nights there was no value. A lot of the things mentioned above can be fixed by a fresh coat of paint and a thorough cleaning. I'm disappointed by the experience. Overall we were pleased about our experience in St Michael outside of the hotel, the town is lovely and it was a nice way to unplug from our professional life. The main street and to walk to the other side of the marina is about a 15min walk.. As of now it's unlikely we will return to the Harbour Inn.

The view from our room was beautiful which we did appreciate from the jacuzzi. Most of the staff was nice and helpful. The layout of the room was very nice. The place is simply beautiful. The two stars are due to the fact the bathroom was disgusting. The cleaning staff failed the hotel. There were pee, poo marks and pubic hairs all over the toilet. The bathtub area had mold on the walls, and the shower head (but the water pressure was nice). When I asked if the bathroom could be serviced again the answer we got was that the cleaning people “only clean” in between guests arrivals. The guy in the front counter “offered his help” to go and check but pretty much was talking himself out of the job because it was not his duty, as he said “mmm I guess I will have to clean it for you”. Therefore we got not no help but to go out of our way, buy alcohol and cleaning wipes and clean it because we were already there. Again, the hotel layout and room, as well as the dinning staff are great but the bathroom experience was really unpleasant. You would think that because of COVID, for the price you pay, and the 3 stars the hotel has, the cleaning service would be a prime priority but it is not. (Pictures were taken after I cleaned with some alcohol wipes I had at hand at first)

Incredible, the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed, The Room was fabulous and super comfortable the housekeeping staff, wow, you should be so proud of them, they were the best, friendliest of anywhere out of everywhere I’ve ever stayed, They were fabulous and should be so proud of themselves John who drove the Inn taxi, Yes they have a complimentary taxi was the best ever! He was so smart, funny, and had the best recommendations on where to eat! Please let him know the Pennsylvanian Chef took his advice and went to the Bistro and had the most incredibly special time! Loved it! Ryleek was fabulous when He answered the phone one rainy evening we needed a ride back to the Inn in the storm, He had John there to pick us up in under five minutes at the door and Back safely! Great Job Ryleek you’re a star! The girls at the front desk were also incredible and made the nicest experience coming and going with their always friendly Hello’s Oh and Dog friendlieness, I’m always so worried about taking the dogs anywhere, this inn Rolls out the red carpet for the people every bit as much as they do for the dogs, I couldn’t have felt better about Our Furbabies visiting and getting to comfortably sleep at the Inn, They Loved it too and gave it five bones on bring Fido! I can’t thank you all enough or begin to tell anyone who reads this not to choose anywhere else, You will love this fabulous spot, we stayed in the off season, but the bar and restaurant on site are all anyone would ever need, the Gym (even though I don’t exercise) Was Clean and Incredible looking, The Entire place was clean clean clean not a speck of dirt or piece of paper laying about anywhere, another mark of excellence in behalf of the all star house keeping that all deserves a raise and round of applause after this review because they really are the stars of the show! I can’t thank the Inn more for their exceptionally warm welcome, comfortable stay, reasonable price, oh and best store ever if you need a free coffee or drink or souvineer, You’ve got it all and so much more at this absolutely incredible place!

Love it love it love it will be back and will tell everyone about it in the meantime

-Grateful from...
